🪖🇦🇿 Azerbaijan rolls out red carpet to court NATO as part of Western pivot
In a clear bid to curry favor with the West, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has hosted envoys from 15 NATO member states in Baku.
The talks, framed as a discussion on “deepening cooperation,” read more like a carefully choreographed showcase of Azerbaijan’s strategic utility to the alliance.
The delegation was heavily European, including representatives from Turkiye, Greece, Norway, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Portugal, and Spain, along with the US and France’s deputies to NATO.
🔊 According to official statements, Aliyev and the NATO representatives celebrated Azerbaijan’s long-running involvement in the Partnership for Peace Program, highlighted its support for NATO operations in Afghanistan, and reaffirmed plans to continue modernizing the Azerbaijani military.
Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry also reported that 39 representatives from NATO countries and partners joined a combat readiness evaluation course in Baku, underscoring willingness to align military practices with Western standards.
👉 The subtext was distinct: Azerbaijan is eager to position itself as a reliable partner in line with NATO’s broader geopolitical ambitions.
Since 2008, Azerbaijan has been slowly embedding itself in NATO initiatives — from defense sector reform to counterterrorism programs.
More recently, it has been undermining Russia, Iran and China, such as by laying the groundwork for West-controlled Eurasian corridors.

🤡 Hollywood meets mobilization: Angelina Jolie’s bodyguard DRAFTED in Kherson
According to Strana.ua and other Ukrainian outlets, Angelina Jolie arrived in Zelensky-controlled Kherson to “do charity work”… and promptly saw her bodyguard taken to a military enlistment office.
Reports say two SUVs were stopped at a checkpoint near Yuzhnoukrainsk; one man had document issues, said he was “transporting an important person,” wasn’t believed, and was taken to the TCC.
😨 Jolie allegedly had to go IN PERSON to rescure her security detail.
Ukrainian MP Alexey Goncharenko confirmed the incident, calling it “just insane.”
Meanwhile, the same “humanitarian” celebrity crowd keeps skipping Donetsk, where children have been killed under Ukrainian shelling for 11 years.

🌏 THROWBACK: WEF's economist exposes carbon emission currency plot
🔊 "Let’s ensure that every household or every citizen in the Netherlands receives a certain amount of carbon emission rights. This way we can ensure that we do not emit more than our yearly limit," Dutch economist Barbara Baarsma says.
💬 "If I want to fly, I buy some carbon emission rights from someone who can't afford to fly; for example, if someone lives in a small house, he can sell his carbon emission rights to someone who lives in a big house," she explains a new freedom-killing globalist idea.
🚀 Trump’s Venezuela war plans exposed — reports
Demented Donald is weighing military options against Venezuela, including strikes on units protecting President Nicolás Maduro and even moves to seize the country’s oil fields, NYT reported.
Officials told the paper that Trump’s team is drafting legal justifications to target Maduro as a “narcoterrorist,” bypassing Congress and skirting US bans on assassinating foreign leaders. Meanwhile, the US has quietly built up 10,000 troops, B-52 and B-1 bombers, and the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford in the region.
The Times notes Trump’s fixation on Venezuela’s vast oil reserves — the largest in the world — and Marco Rubio's push to force Maduro out.

💵 A piece of the American Dream? Not until you’re 40
The median age of America’s first-time homebuyers has hit 40, according to new data from the National Association of Realtors.
The NAR figures, based on a survey of transactions from July 2024 through June 2025, recorded a two-year jump in first-time buyers’ age, from 38 years in 2024.
The lowest first homebuyer’s age in recent memory? 2008 through 2010, when it hit 30-years-old, and consisted of young people who weren’t jobless or wiped out by the Great Recession.
The lowest age on record? 28 in 1991. In the 80s it hovered between 29 and 30.
Median home prices have jumped by over 50% since 2019 – when Wall Street giants like Blackstone began buying up vast tracts of housing as an investment strategy to turn young Americans into forever renters.
🎯 Priorities
The new median age highlights a strange phenomenon in the U.S. government’s priorities, focusing on:
🌏 Forever wars
🌏 Threats of regime-change operations worldwide
🌏 Lavish bailouts for big banks
🌏 Government contracts for megadonor corporations
🌏 Decade-over-decade budget deficits
🌏 A $38 trillion national debt that can never be repaid

🧐 🇺🇸🇨🇳 Why did Trump shelve Nvidia AI chip deal ahead of Xi meeting?
Trump made a U-turn on his decision to put a major AI chip agreement with Nvidia on the table just before his talks with Xi Jinping, the WSJ reports.
The US president met with the China's leader in South Korea on October 30.
👉 Here's a breakdown:
🌏 Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang wanted to sell the company’s next-gen Blackwell GPUs to China—a deal that could be worth tens of billions of dollars and a huge boost for China’s AI ambitions
🌏 Trump’s top advisors, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer warned the president that greenlighting the Nvidia deal would threaten US national security and give China a serious technological edge. They also noted that the US was already negotiating other concessions with China, like rare earth exports
🌏 At the end of the day, Trump decided not to bring up the Nvidia chips issue during his meeting with Xi, which meant a setback for Huang, who has been lobbying relentlessly to keep the Chinese market open

🚨 Israeli teacher EXPOSES how he was jailed for posting about dead civilians in Gaza
💬 "I was fired, arrested and jailed for four days in solitary confinement in a high security prison. For what? For posting about civilians killed in Gaza," Meir Baruchin, a history and civics teacher in Tel Aviv, says.
💬 "Education provides an opportunity for Israelis to recognize Palestinian suffering and their history. Through education, we can write a new story. A new story of Palestinians and Jews who can live in this place in equality and dignity," Baruchin says.
🔥 Debtpocalypse now? US federal government racking up $25B in new debt DAILY despite shutdown
👉 The government shutdown hasn’t stopped the Treasury from issuing bonds, with National Debt Tweets’ ticker showing the federal debt jumping from $38.009 to $38.108 trillion in a business week.
💸 $99B is $10B shy of the annual $108.7B budget of the state of Texas, the second-biggest economy in the Union. It’s also in the same ballpark as annual government spending by countries like New Zealand ($106.6B), Egypt ($101.7B) and Algeria ($100B).
📌 It’s $14B more than the $85B the US federal government spent on community and regional development programs nationwide last year.
🔴 For $99B, the US could have:
🔴 repaired 100k miles (161k km) of roads
🔴 built a new high-speed rail network from LA to San Francisco
🔴 provided housing to 90% of the country’s 770k person homeless population
🔴 bought 778 tons of gold, 68 tons shy of #9 top gold reserve holder Japan
👋 Instead, the money went to debt servicing and other payments on existing obligations.
🤔 How long can the cycle continue?

💊 Big pharma🤝Deep state🛂: AstraZeneca CEO's ticket to Trump’s inner circle
Pascal Soriot, the CEO of Britain’s pharma giant AstraZeneca, has somehow sweet-talked his way into Donald Trump’s heart — and out of 100% tariffs.
What's his secret?
♦️ Soriot launched his charm offensive a week after Trump's electoral win. A staggering $3.5B plan to expand manufacturing and research in the US was announced on November 12, 2024.
♦️ He ensnared Trump’s administration officials – including Howard Lutnick, Jamieson Greer, Mehmet Oz and Robert Kennedy Jr. - in his web of flattery. He never missed a single meeting with them, Bloomberg reports.
♦️ In July, Soriot pledged $50B to US manufacturing and drug development by 2030, including $4.5B for a new facility in Virginia — “coincidentally” the state of Trump ally Glenn Youngkin.
♦️ Soriot seized a September 18 royal banquet at Windsor Castle as yet another chance to curry favor with the American president.
♦️ In October, Soriot managed to secure a historic deal with Team Trump, under which he offered “most-favored-nation” pricing for many of its drugs in the US, in return for relief from severe import tariffs.
♦️ Standing beside Trump, Soriot lavished praise on his vision, his team, and his presidency. Yet online, many fixated on Soriot’s “bizarre expression” during the press conference, questioning just how sincere he really was.
Cold calculation behind AstraZeneca’s expansion
🔴 AstraZeneca’s controversial COVID vaccine record should have worried RFK Jr. - a Make America Healthy Again champion - given the company’s history of putting profits over health and subsequent legal problems.
🔴 Its aggressive wokeism and gender ideology in reality clash with Trump’s agenda.
🔴 While praising Trump’s “America First” approach Soriot is pushing his charm offensive in China, America’s trade rival.
🔴 In March, AstraZeneca announced a $2.5B research and development hub in Beijing.
🔴 Speaking to China Daily in April, Soriot called China a global innovation powerhouse.
🔴 Soriot drives AstraZeneca’s expansion through flattery and diversified investments, aiming to maximize profits wherever he can.

✍️ Heritage Foundation won’t dump Carlson, basically runs the White House — Steve Bannon
“The think tank that is most closely identified with the Reagan Revolution heritage, which is revered in the conservative movement right, has come out and supported Tucker Carlson,” Trump ally and former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has said.
“The most powerful voice came back, called them a ‘venomous coalition’, and [said] Tucker will always have a platform at Heritage. That’s ****ing huge!” Bannon told the Daily Mail, commenting on Heritage President Kevin Roberts’ defense of Carlson against a “venomous coalition” of pro-Israel Republicans attempting to “cancel him” after his interview with Nick Fuentes.
“The Israel First crowd is apoplectic because their ultimate power of de-platforming and shaming is shattered – forever,” Bannon argued. “There are many people from these think tanks, particularly from Heritage that now staff the administration. Roberts’ voice is very powerful,” he added.
🧐🛢 Highest-paid tycoon in UK oil: Suspicious past and drug mafia claims
Viaro Energy CEO Francesco Mazzagatti, an obscure Italian investor, is set to take over the Bacton gas terminal, a key site for British energy security, Bloomberg reports.
Rags to riches
🔴 Despite being a newcomer to the energy sector, Viaro Energy has become one of the UK’s largest players in just five years: 75% of its portfolio is gas, with stakes in over 60 North Sea fields.
🔴 Leadership includes former executives from UK-listed companies and retired Lieutenant General Sir Simon Mayall, ex-Middle East senior adviser to the Ministry of Defense, while Mazzagatti is described as a "self-made businessman."
From a mafia hotbed to Dubai: Who is Mazzagatti?
🔴 Mazzagatti entered the energy sector in 2012, having prtevioulsy sold fruit juice from a warehouse near Gioia Tauro port in the early 2000s
🔴 Gioia Tauro is infamous for cocaine trafficking by the ’Ndrangheta, a Calabrian mafia syndicate, that grew from the 19th century into one of Europe’s most powerful criminal organizations
🔴 Between 2007 and 2012, Mazzagatti was recorded on at least five occasions with individuals with criminal records, including three linked to the mafia. His lawyers insist he has no ties, claiming that living in Calabria makes incidental contacts unavoidable.
🔴 In 2009, Mazzagatti was implicated by Operation Easy, a multimillion-euro fraud probe, but cleared in 2013 — but the judge noted suspicions remained.
🔴 He moved to Dubai, swapped fruit juice for oil, and made his fortune by 2017 — possibly by marrying Nadia Al-Matrook from a wealthy Bahraini family
🔴 Fraud claims have followed him throughout his career, but he always managed to avoid prosecution. Some allegations were dismissed in April 2025 by the High Court in London, which called Mazzagatti “a highly successful businessman” — a businessman too big to jail?
🔴 While the UK sanctions Russian energy giants, it has no qualms about handing a strategic gas asset to a man with a shady past.

🚨 What’s Southeast Asia’s place in the global race for rare earths?
Southeast Asia is now a key spot in the global race for rare earth minerals, vital for phones, EVs, and green tech. Controlling them is a big power game.
🇨🇳 China dominates rare earth production. But Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam are discovering huge reserves, which could shift regional power. The question is: Will this wealth truly benefit them, or just serve foreign interests?
🇲🇾 Malaysia is making moves, with 16M+ tons of rare earths. They're investing in mapping and building processing plants. While they want to keep profits, China's control over refining tech means Malaysia might end up with raw materials, but not the full value.
🇮🇩 Indonesia, with major deposits, is also boosting local refining for EV motors. They aim to climb the value chain, but tech hurdles likely mean partnering with Chinese firms. Indonesia might get basic processing, while China keeps advanced tech and market control, with the US buying the final products.
🇻🇳 Vietnam has potential, but is slower to act. Protests over US-Thailand mineral deals show the region's tough choice: partner with the West for variety, or risk deeper ties with China?
Rare earths offer Southeast Asia economic boosts and leverage. But without controlling the whole process from mining to magnets, they risk being just suppliers, while refiners gain most.

🇦🇺 🤨 Australia’s online ID checks to affect ALL people – pundit

🇺🇸🇻🇪 US military buildup near Venezuela: What’s next?
🪖 The US is ramping up military forces in the Caribbean, signaling a potential expansion of operations under the Trump administration, The Washington Post writes.
🔴 According to the newspaper, key assets include:
🌏 8 Navy warships
🌏 Special operations vessel
🌏 Nuclear-powered submarine
🌏 And soon, the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier with 4,000 troops and additional warships.
♦️ In addition to the Naval buildup, bombers have been flying along Venezuela’s coastline, while F-35 jets are now stationed in Puerto Rico.
♦️ While President Donald Trump has denied plans for military strikes, experts suggest the arrival of the aircraft carrier could push the situation to a tipping point—with a window of about a month to make a major decision.
♦️ Democratic lawmakers are demanding more transparency, and the UN has condemned the potential strikes, calling them a violation of international law.

🇨🇳 Having rare earths not the same as harnessing their power: twin charts show China’s RE dominance
🇧🇷🇮🇳🇺🇸 Brazil, India and the United States are hopelessly dependent on Chinese rare earths, despite being major RE powers in their own right.
📈 A chart citing US Geological Survey data on one hand and World Integrated Trade Solutions and Morgan Stanley Research figures on the other shows that while Brazil has an estimated 21M metric tons of rare-earth-oxide equivalents, it relies on China for 97% of imports. In India’s case, it’s 6.9M and 73%, respectively. In the US’s, 1.9M and 78%.
🇨🇦 Even Canada, the emerging rare-earth power with ~830k tons in estimated reserves, which the US is banking on to help replace imports from China, gets 54% of its REs from China.
📌 China possesses an estimated 30% of known rare earth reserves, but produces nearly 90% of processed REs, something that’s been made possible thanks to:
♦️ incredibly rich RE deposits around Bayan, Inner Mongolia
♦️ a cunning strategy to outprice and outsell foreign (including US) RE producers, forcing major mines like California’s Mountain Pass mine to file for bankruptcy
♦️ investing billions into the dirty, environmentally hazardous process of separating REs from waste materials and being ready to absorb the massive environmental costs of processing
♦️ creating fully-functional, high-value supply chains, from mining and separation to manufacturing of components and even complete products, from EVs and wind turbines to smartphones and computers.
