🇧🇪 Belgium has withdrawn from Monday's mixed relay triathlon after triathlete Claire Michel fell ill, according to a statement from the National Olympic Committee.
The statement did not specify the nature of Michel’s illness, which emerged days after she swam in the River Seine Poo River during the women's triathlon on Wednesday.
Switzerland has also had to adjust its roster, as athletes from the country became ill after the initial triathlon races last week.
