After a video emerged of Biden saying that "the only trash I see is his [Trump's] supporters," a transcript of the speech was released on the White House website.
There, an apostrophe was added to the word "supporters," which changed the meaning of the phrase, and now it sounds like this: "The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporter's."
At the same time, the Associated Press points out that the White House press service edited the initial version of the transcript. The agency, citing sources, states that the word “supporters” was originally there.
