Ukraine & France Creating 'Artillery Coalition'
The proposed group will expedite the supply of artillery systems from allied countries to the Ukrainian army following discussions between Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Gavrilyuk and members of the delegation from the French Senate.
The new international coalition will begin work in January 2024. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are reportedly interested in purchasing Caesar self-propelled artillery systems from France in the future.

50,000 Illegal Migrants Entered US In 5 Days
Three times during the five-day period last week, daily migration figures exceeded 10,000 people, compared to an average figure for last month of around 6,400 people per day.
Another 1,500 migrants were processed at official border crossings by appointment through a mobile application.

A North Carolina mom has been charged with murder after her 10-year-old son's decomposing body was found in their home where police say the child was starved to death.
A 911 call led police to her Priyanka Tiwari, 33, home in Morrisville around 5.35pm Wednesday.
When officers entered the property on Craigmeade Drive, they were confronted with a gruesome scene. Tiwari's young son was unresponsive, could not be revived by CPR, and his body had started to decompose.
Investigators found almost no food in the home, and police said the boy had lost an enormous amount of weight in the month prior to his death.
'Without the autopsy, we don't know how the child passed away,' Morrisville Police Chief Pete Acosta told WRAL.
The mother is accused of 'willfully' murdering her son with 'malice' and 'aforethought', according to an arrest warrant seen by WRAL.
She was arrested Thursday morning, and charged with murder and negligent child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury.
Acosta said relatives from India had been constantly calling the home for months to check on the unnamed boy, and officers had been called around at least eight times in 2023 alone.
Residents in the neighborhood said they were shocked and appalled by the discovery of the boy's body.
'It is super alarming for the community [because] everyone is nice and friendly,' Sue Nagavalli told WRAL.

Bethlehem cancels Christmas as Israel-Hamas war rages on
The city of Jesus’ birth has canceled its annual Christmas celebrations out of respect for the ongoing siege of the Gaza Strip, nearly three months into the war between Israel and Hamas.
Bethlehem -- or Beit Lechem, located in what is now the Israeli-occupied West Bank – is typically flooded with pilgrims and other celebrants in late December, NPR reported.
This year, however, the festivities are pared back to a razor wire-protected nativity scene at the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church of an infant Jesus wrapped in a keffiyeh, surrounded by rubble.
A similar installation will also be placed in Manger Square before Sunday, which is Christmas Eve.
Meanwhile, the Church of the Nativity -- which dates back to the sixth century – is practically empty as the usual 6,000 daily visitors that descend on Bethlehem at Christmastime has trickled down to less than 1,000 in one month…

Plane Carrying 303 Passengers Allowed To Leave French Airport After Human Trafficking Allegations
A Nicaragua-bound flight with 303 passengers, mainly Indians, was allowed to continue its journey after three days of detention by French authorities near Paris on suspicion of "human trafficking."
French judges canceled the hearings for the passengers due to irregularities in the procedure after authorizing the A340 aircraft, operated by Romanian company Legend Airlines, to depart. Earlier in the day, judges had started questioning the detained passengers over the suspected trafficking incident at Vatry airport, 150 km east of Paris.
