Hello, I’ve ordered a Trotten tabletop and 5 ADILS legs, one for each corner and one for support in the middle . Is there an ideal position at the door corners that I need to install the legs? This is my first time using an Ikea product and I have no idea.

Havasta Glass Shelves - Lighting recommendation
We'll be doing one of the old '5 wide with 2 shelf' TV buildins next weekend and I'm trying to pre-plan lighting. I prefer buying or building my own due to customization/automation. Anyone have recommendation for how they lit theirs (ideally facing 'back' since facing force is more abrasive visually without a diffuser) or at least the shelf 'height' of what I would be able to attach too?

Brimes headboard without the bed-frame storage? Any advice on which bedframe to get?
I really like the Brimnes headboard with the side shelves, however, I'm not a fan of the bed frame as it feels too boxy and I don't need the underbed storage. I'm thinking of buying a separate bed-frame to match with the Brimnes headboard, but I'm not too sure which one to get. I like the look of the Malm bed-frame, however, the colour comes in black-brown and not just black like Brimnes. Does anyone have suggestions for a black bed frame I could match with the Brimnes headboard?

Should I add additional leg support on an Aurdal system I just put up
The 2 front legs on the bottom front just seem a bit flimsy and I was wondering if I should add a couple legs towards the back to give extra support so it stands the test of time?

Dyeing Poang seat support
Has anyone successfully dyed the seat support on a Poang chair? Not the cushion or the frame, but the actual fabric that supports the cushion. I’m going to try but I’m worried about the dye (or fabric paint) not setting well due to the nature of the fabric. I’d love any tips that worked!

Has anyone replaced the Varmblixt LED light with a hue light strip?
Have a spare Philips Hue strip and i hate the default varmblixt hue/lumen. The rest of the room lights are hue bulbs/strips and grouping all together would be ideal.
Wish I could wire the strip to the varmblixt driver but doesn't seem feasible given the operating wattage differences. I suppose I could isolate the low voltage circuits to hardwire but it's outta my wheelhouse.
If anyone's done this I'm curious about the final product and how to manage the relatively large controller

New Billy bookshelf painting
I am looking to paint my Billy bookcase. Before anyone yells at me, yes I used the search, that’s actually why I’m here. I have the new white Billy bookshelves that were released in April 2025. It seems there was a material change, with this version being made of particleboard, paper foil, and paper edging. I guess the old ones also had melamine foil. I have no idea what any of these materials are. I am a paint newbie who’s trying to be a bit more self-sufficient.
When searching for painting steps, there seems to be a debate between sanding vs non sanding, what primer to use, and whether or not you need a deglosser. I've seen posts say sanding is the most important part, and the very next post says sanding will actually ruin the material since it's not wood. Then it's definitely use a shellac primer, but Stix also works whatever that is, or Benjamin Moore primer and then advanced paint. I've seen some of the posts mention a deglosser/degreaser, but not all which makes me curious.
I’m just a bit overwhelmed and confused about what you are actually supposed to do. My original plan was:
Prime cases without the shelves, then next day, prime the shelves.I don’t have the space to put the shelves anywhere while they dry so I figured I'd just do those separate and then just let them dry in the bookshelf. If anyone has any better advice for this, it would be appreciated.
Repeat with paint, multiple coats if needed.
Figure out if I need a top coat.
But now I feel like I’m possibly missing important steps. So any clarifications of what is actually needed would be greatly appreciated.

Recommendations for cabinet to fit Lillian sink

I purchased an uninstalled Lillian sink a while ago, the smaller one. The 62cm wide sink. But, as I knew, they have discontinued the cabinet for these models. I was hoping I could use a different cabinet for this purpose. Does anyone have any recommendations?

How deep is the back of the Section kitchen cabinets?
