Got any advice or suggestions for some just jumping into Slime Rancher 2?

I've absolutely loved slime rancher and since the earliest playable version, but I've been kinda putting off slime rancher 2 for a bit so I think it's about time to get into it now, but first I was just wondering if there might be anything good to know before jumping in?

Is there enough plots to keep all pure slimes in SR2?

In first game there was expantions for the ranch thats make it possible to keep all pure slime variants also as their fav food plots. I want to do the same thing in Slime Rancher 2 but is it really possible?

Corrupted Save File

I've seen this problem been talked about a bit but I'm not sure if someone has the solution to my specific problem. When I try to enter the game in ps4 or ps5 it says "The saved data is corrupted" and "Something went wrong with the game or app". I'm not sure how to salvage it or what the actual issue is. I'm worried as it's not just ps4 as I thought it would be. I don't have cloud back up as my plus subscription ended time ago. My world is 5 years old so it would be painful to loose. It doesnt have any mods, only the paid dlc. Could I upload the data on a USB, reinstall the game or do anything else to save it?

Low framerate, not using resources

I’m on a 3060 ti and i5-10400F and I’m struggling to get Slime Rancher 2 to use my resources so I’m only hitting about 70-80 FPS in game playing on medium graphics. In the task manager it will hit a maximum of 50% CPU and 40% GPU but I can’t get it to consume more than that for some reason, I’ve tried:

• Setting priority to high in the task manager.
• Turning V-sync on and off both in game and in the NVIDEA control panel.
• changing the all the NVIDEA settings to ”prefer maximum performance”, ”high performance” and ”highest available” on the preferred refresh rate.
• choosing high performance in the graphics settings in the windows settings.
• Trying both borderless windowed and fullscreen
• turning off depth of field, chromatic abbreviations, ambient occlusion and reflections.

I’m not very tech savvy but I’ve tried the things I’ve seen people suggest from other posts on both steam and Reddit, I don’t know what I’m missing.

Polaricherry or Candied Hen, what's the best food source out of them both?

I know Polaricherry trees give a lot of fruit at once, but I also know meat produces very quickly and efficient in SR2 + Yolky Slimes. What I'm trying to do is see what food I'd rather use for the >!Twin & Sloomber!< largo, they look really cute together. But I've got a question, is the >!Sloomber + Hyper!< largo a better money making source?

Why so few pink plorts?

I recently started a new save in SR1 and have a corral with 12 pink/rock largos which are fed heartbeets for the favourite food bonus but I find that in my silos I’m getting so few pink plorts, am I doing something wrong? Why am I getting less pink plorts than rock plorts?
