Help with a (probably very basic) shader
Hello! I am making my first game (or more of a proof of concept) and I have encountered the need for my first custom shader. I'm trying to make a sprite of a guitar string look like its vibrating. I tried playing around with shadergraph but quickly realized I have no idea what I'm doing lol. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is there a multiply layer, similar to photoshop, in Unity2D? There's a white strip around the textures in Unity and not the program I drew them in, please help!
In Unity
In drawing application \(blue background to make it obvious\)
I've seen similar solutions done with shaders, but to my understanding, that would involve making an individual shader for every single sprite in the game, which doesn't seem efficient to me(although I am a novice, perhaps it's the norm). If there was a "one-size-fits-all" solution, where I could have one shader do this to every sprite, that would be perfect.

TileMaker DOT now supports exports for seamless engines integration
Hey everyone! I just pushed a major update for TileMaker DOT that I think a lot of you are going to find useful.
I’ve just added full TMX and TSX export support to the v1.9 on itch.io. My goal is to make this the easiest starting point for 2D level design, so I wanted to make sure these formats were available for everyone to use.
If you’re working in Unity, Godot, or GameMaker or other engines, this is a huge time saver. You can design your maps in TileMaker DOT and drop them straight into your engine without having to rebuild anything from scratch.
Grab the latest update here:

If you need a quick walkthrough on how the tool work, I made a tutorial series here:

I'm really trying to make this a go-to tool for the community, so if you have ideas for what I should add next, let me know in the comments, preferably on my itch page! Also, if you’ve been using the tool and like it, please consider leaving a rating on the itch page. It helps the project stay visible and keeps me motivated to keep adding features xD

Experimenting with the art style for my game. Is this too dark?

i intentionally made the art style to look very grungy and a bit unsettling (its a horror game). asked my friends and they have different opinions. one of them said its not dark enough, the other said its too dark. though for me personally, looking at my monitor, its perfect.

Animation transform resets after hitting play
So I have a very simple animation that's supposed to simply move an object up. I created it and noticed that (even though it works in edit mode), after entering play mode the animation changes to one where all transform are set the ones the object has normally, at the start of the game.
I made a small edit to test something on an animation that worked perfectly and suddenly it had the same bug. Almost like any change made after a specific moment completely breaks the animation
