Girl invited me to go for a run today. I eagerly agreed, since I’m a semi-professional long-distance runner.
I arrived at the meeting spot, of course, 20 minutes early, wearing my Hoka and compression socks, post light warm-up, resting heart rate 42. She showed up 5 minutes late, wearing H&M leggings and some casual walking shoes from a REI.
I suggested a classic 12 km training loop at conversational pace (4:40/km), but she said she doesn’t “run that much” and just wanted to do a couple of laps around the park. Alright, I thought, let her have it.
We started easy. My watch showed 6:30/km pace, heart rate in Zone 1, basically active recovery. After 500 meters, she said she needed to walk because she’s “not quite in shape yet.”
I suggested some high knees and a few strides, and she asked if I “take this all seriously.” She chatted about Netflix shows while I analyzed my Garmin Connect data.
After 1.8 km, she said that was her max and asked if we could sit on a bench. We sat. She was sweating like she’d just run a marathon, I was cooling off with an electrolyte drink, heart rate back down to 45.
She said it was “great, so nice you didn’t run too fast.” At the end, she asked if she could tag me in a TikTok with #RunningDate. I said I don’t use TikTok—it messes with sleep patterns.
I blocked her when I got home. Then ran 15 km at tempo pace to clear my head. Crying, but in Zone 2.

I hate Gen Z
So, I don't think I can stand these children anymore. They may be well into their 20s, but why are Gen Z such children? So, I've got a few that work under me , and every single one I've seen come through is just, wrong. Today might have been the final straw, and if I was legally able to fire this idiot, I would've today. For some light background without getting too far into the weeds, I work in a highly specialized field. My occupation makes good money, but is fairly complicated and related to Aviation. Now, over the years I've got more and more irritated with these kids because they essentially do everything wrong. They can't show up on time, are unprofessional, don't get their work done in a timely manner, and are just fucking stupid. There's math involved in my job, (nothing even crazy I'm not talking physics here, but pretty basic stuff, the majority of which is pre-high school) but the amount of Gen Z kids who can't do something as simple as 18 divided by 6 in their heads is baffling to me. Anyways, on to today. It starts with this new idiot showing up about 25 minutes late for his shift, with 0 contact. When I asked him why he was 25 minutes late and didn't notify me if he knew he was going to be late, this 26 year old adult man, looks me, his boss, dead in the eye and says, "sowwy, I was eepy." With a big exaggerated frown in baby talk. In what fucking world does anyone think that's acceptable? He then asks me to override the timecard software and punch him in on time. I would've fired him on the spot if it were legal. Worst thing is, it's NOT just him or a few people. I swear, everyone born after 1997 that has come through my office is worse than useless. Is anyone else getting this?

Undertale Gave me Homophobia
Undertale gave me homophobia, it's a long story but I'll try and explain it here.
It was April 2016, the same month that the game had come out and I was a perfectly normal non-homophic straight dude looking for a game to buy on steam. My gay friend recommended this game called "Undertale" and when I watched the trailer I was truly oustounded. I didn't just want to play the game. I needed to.
I dug into my wallet scrambling for my card, after I found it I proceeded to check out in a record 10 minute time after hearing about the game. When I opened the game I was pleased that it lived up to my exceptions. I was quickly met by a fool named "Flowery" who chose to look like the nonchalant flower while he was truly the serpent under't. I blasted through him quickly as it was a relatively easy fight and continued on with this game. I was truly astounded at the detail put into it. When I saw that there was this dinosaur Alphys in the waterfall area who was extremely gay for the fish woman who was called Undyne I barely thought anything of it. It was completely normal for me who wasn't even homophobic at the time and couldn't tell when relationships were gay. But then something happened that would change the experience of my life forever. I was diagnosed with Homophobia.
This was a huge shock to deal with, I had been an ally to gay people all of my life and to find out that I had contracted homophobia was heartbreaking! When I got back from my local GP I decided to play Undertale to cheer myself up, but what I saw shuck me even more. I had been half way through fighting san's fight when I left for my biweekly checkup but when I returned I found out what had given me the homophobia. I had dodged san's blue and yellow attacks so much that they were burned into each of my eyes, blue on the right one and left of the west one. This is what caused my crippling homophobia, a fight about dodging evil skeletons. I was furious that all because of this I could no longer see gay people the same again, only with a weird greenish tint. when I finished the san's fight and started a new verifiable pacifist route I saw Alphys and Undyne again and I just couldn't look. What was once a respectable looking couple to me was now a greenish headache.
I have been told that I might recover in due years but I fear that I may not. So from then on I had a different outlook on gay People and not too long after that my best friend at the time told me she felt like she might be gay and I completely cut her off. So that's how Undertale gave me homophobia and why I am FURIOUS that Undertale still has the gay month icon 10 days after pride month has ENDED!

The Tomato Town Incident
At around 10:00 AM on the morning of December 18th, 2018, in what was widely believed to be an act of government-sponsored ethnic cleansing, two armed militia men were seen parachuting from a military plane into the vicinity of Tomato Town. To this day the government denies the massacre and subsequent chemical weapons attack despite multiple Human Rights agencies releasing interviews with the survivors and even one of the assailants coming forward with a testimony of guilt uploaded to social media after a UN Geneva Convention Probe confirmed the use of banned chemical agents.

I don't understand why most men piss in a toilet. Pissing in a sink is OBJECTIVELY the most convenient and hygienic way to do it. Here's my reasoning:
1. When you piss in a sink you don't splash tiny droplets of piss on your legs, which happens a lot when you piss in a toilet. Sitting to piss would solve the problem, but sink is better because of the next reasons and you also avoid all the bacteria from the toilet (there's a lot).
2. You can instantly clean both your hands and your D with a soap. When you piss in a toilet, you only clean your hands afterwards and put your dirty D in your underwear. I mean you technically could clean your D afterwards, but I don't see a reason not to piss in a sink in the first place then.
3. Sound of the water when you're pissing is very relaxing and it's easier to do it.
4. Some people suggest that it's not hygienic because you cover the sink in piss, but actually, all the soap from cleaning your hands and D automatically cleans the sink, so it's perfectly fine. Especially when you piss with an angle that makes the piss perfectly flow to the drain without splashing anywhere. If it does, I will clean the sink in a few seconds with soap and done. Also, even without pissing in a sink, you put a lot of bacteria there from your hands (from wiping for example), so I don't see a reason why piss bacteria would be any worse.
5. I also heard that the sink will smell bad - that's not true. I've been doing it for about 10 years and it doesn't have any smell - my girlfriend confirms. As I said it's automatically cleaned with soap, so that problem is not realistic.
The only problem is, some sinks are too high. Then I either stand on my toes or unhappily piss to a toilet. Aside from that, a great thing to do.

I just think werewolves are so freaking hot, man. They're the peak combination of danger and sweetness.

Undertale gave me homophobia, it's a long story but I'll try and explain it here.
It was April 2016, the same month that the game had come out and I was a perfectly normal non-homophic straight dude looking for a game to buy on steam. My gay friend recommended this game called "Undertale" and when I watched the trailer I was truly oustounded. I didn't just want to play the game. I needed to.
I dug into my wallet scrambling for my card, after I found it I proceeded to check out in a record 10 minute time after hearing about the game. When I opened the game I was pleased that it lived up to my exceptions. I was quickly met by a fool named "Flowery" who chose to look like the nonchalant flower while he was truly the serpent under't. I blasted through him quickly as it was a relatively easy fight and continued on with this game. I was truly astounded at the detail put into it. When I saw that there was this dinosaur Alphys in the waterfall area who was extremely gay for the fish woman who was called Undyne I barely thought anything of it. It was completely normal for me who wasn't even homophobic at the time and couldn't tell when relationships were gay. But then something happened that would change the experience of my life forever. I was diagnosed with Homophobia.
This was a huge shock to deal with, I had been an ally to gay people all of my life and to find out that I had contracted homophobia was heartbreaking! When I got back from my local GP I decided to play Undertale to cheer myself up, but what I saw shuck me even more. I had been half way through fighting san's fight when I left for my biweekly checkup but when I returned I found out what had given me the homophobia. I had dodged san's blue and yellow attacks so much that they were burned into each of my eyes, blue on the right one and left of the west one. This is what caused my crippling homophobia, a fight about dodging evil skeletons. I was furious that all because of this I could no longer see gay people the same again, only with a weird greenish tint. when I finished the san's fight and started a new verifiable pacifist route I saw Alphys and Undyne again and I just couldn't look. What was once a respectable looking couple to me was now a greenish headache.
I have been told that I might recover in due years but I fear that I may not. So from then on I had a different outlook on gay People and not too long after that my best friend at the time told me she felt like she might be gay and I completely cut her off. So that's how Undertale gave me homophobia and why I am FURIOUS that Undertale still has the gay month icon 10 days after pride month has ENDED!

AI is revolutionary. It is beautiful, smart, and could possibly be the next step for evolution. However, people just want to ruin everything for everyone. I see AI being exploited for horrendous things. Scamming. Drawing, no, MAKING a painting so the person who wrote the prompt can pretend it's his (do not forget that people were cheating in pokemon art contests with ai). People will find every way to unnecessarily integrate an AI system into things it DOES NOT need an AI for.
AI Fridges. AI Cat translating apps. AI Content. Everything. What's next? AI People? Is everything I know AI? Is everything I see AI? Is my life MADE BY AI? Is my whole entire life a lie?
