next good opportunity won't be until November 2025, so get to rolling.
* It is a misconception that you should save the 4\* CE EXP from the FP gacha and use them during anni.
* During this event, if you feed the CE EXP immediately, it will take 1.434M FP to level 100 a CE.
* If you were to save the 4\* CE EXP and spend it during anni (3x super success), it would take 1.347M FP to level 100 a CE.
* You would have to deal with inventory management and second storage management for the opportunity to save less than 100k FP per FULLY leveled CE. This is less than 12.5k FP per 1\* CE bomb. It is not worth it.

Overview:
* The boss summons adds every turn and reduces its HP for every summon. The adds have various buffs and card resists.
Noteworthy mechanics:
* The boss is permanently charmed on their 1st HP bar. Each add that's summoned reduces the boss by 100k max HP.
* If there are 6 enemies, the boss will remove its max HP debuff until you kill one of the adds.
* When you break the boss's HP bar, the charm is removed.
* The adds can give party evasion and will do it often.
* If you bring a cat characteristic servant the enemies will get permanent 20% defense and permanent terror.
Strategy:
* Use AOE attacks, preferably with sure hit or pierce invuln (Origin Bullet is very good on this). Don't let 6 adds be on the field.

## Excavation Guide

The main quest is locked behind a point ladder. In order to get points, you have to mine the excavation board.
You mine the excavation board with tools, which you get from free quests. There are 3 types of tools: Red Shovels, Blue Hammers, and Yellow Pickaxes.
You can increase the rate of these dropping by equipping the First Day of Filming CE onto your party.
Different tiles have different possible rewards. A list of rewards per tile type can be found here: [https://i.imgur.com/aOyHrCH.png](https://i.imgur.com/aOyHrCH.png)
In addition, there are gold mats hidden underneath some of the tiles. The 4 tiles overlapping those gold mats must be dug in order to get the mat underneath.
You can choose to target mine mats if you want to optimize tool usage for specific mats. Alternatively, if you are too lazy, you can click the Auto Dig button and it will keep mining as long as you have tools.
It takes 220 red, 210, blue, and 210 yellow tools to fully uncover the map.
You can reset the board at any time and should actively reset if you are only looking for specific mats/tiles.
Although you can exchange tools for different colors, the event behind point ladder locked means you will slow your event progress. Only consider swapping once the point ladder is done.
## FAQ
The Boss Gauge on the side does nothing. Don't worry about it.
You can get additional rewards when doing free quests: CE EXP, QP, and FP.
Buy the shop CEs, equip them when you're running free quests.
You must do worse nodes in order to progress in the event because the main story (and free quests) are locked behind the point ladder. You're going to have a bad time if you think you can just slack 1 week and then do the 90+ node immediately. You need 70k points to unlock the 90+ node.
If you are appling this event, you can consider only borrowing the First Day of Filming CE. IF you are not appling and you want to clear event shop, you should prioritize borrowing gacha CEs from friends after you've finished the event story.
You can consider appling this event if any of the following are true:
You have an absurd amount of apples that you cannot reasonably spend during other heavy farming events (GUDAGUDA 7 and Morganfest later this year are relevant ones).
You missed Teslafest and need gems to level your servants and have a reasonable amount of apples (200+).
You need multiple of the mats from this event and you value it more than mats from other events.
For most players with lower apple counts it is not recommended to apple this event due to future events being better for drops and the general playerbase undervaluing lotto efficiency.
Furthermore, for older events that have done a lot of lottos already, the gems from this event are misses, meaning a sizable amount of excavations goes to waste.

back to Tokyo.
The group then successfully defeated the Kudan, which was behind many of the problems happening in the inn. At the same time, throughout the course of 4 days, Aoko succeeds in preventing 3 out of 4 people from taking the Secret Baths, albeit they keep on dying as a result. However, on the 5th day, Aoko, thinking that Kudan has been defeated, took the 5th Secret Bath that supposedly heal shoulder pain, and stupidly got killed by a copy of herself. Turned out, the Kudan's influence still persist because a piece of it is still within the Shiny Star.
# Dismantling of the Shiny Star: Soujuurou's Death Dilemma
After much talk, the group successfully got their hand on Shiny Star. All left is to dismantle it, and Aoko can go ahead undo the Singularity to prevent the world's destruction.However, there was one catch. Although the Shiny Star's activation can be prevented this way, Soujuurou's death would still take place. With this in mind, the only way to stop the world's destruction while also erase Soujuurou's death was to destroy Shiny Star before Soujuurou's death take place. Thankfully, since only 2 out of 5 wishes was granted, Shiny Star's power won't be as strong as it was when Aoko first fought it.
As such, the group went to year 1999 Singularity and fight the Shiny Star. However, even in a much weaker state, the group wasn't able to even land a hit on it. The only way to make it vulnerable was to make the wish its trying to grant invalid.
# Housuke Kinomi's Wish
So, Fujimaru ask Kinomi what was his wish, and after much struggle, Kinomi confess that his wish was to make his favorite idol, a certain really minor idol who recently passed away to be the number one idol. Kinomi himself thought that his wish won't be granted because the wish as to be "the only one," but as cruel as fate can be, Kinomi truly was the only one who wish for that in the whole world. And since it truly is Kinomi's deepest wish and it's not easy to change that, the situation seems dire.
However, one crucial factor was changed since Aoko sent the Singularity 2 years into the future. That was the fact that Tobimaru was actually hired by the father of the idol to deliver back all the fan letters Kinomi sent to her, and through his investigation on the idol, Tobimaru himself became a fan of her. So while it was true that Kinomi was the only one who wish for the idol's success in 1999 when the wish took place, Tobimaru in 2001 now hold the same wish. Meaning, the wish is no longer an "Only One," thus invalidating the wish. With the Shiny Star now vulnerable, the group successfully destroy it, preventing the world's destruction and erasing Soujuuro's death.
# Denouement
With everything is solved and everyone bid their farewell, Aoko undo the Singularity, returning everyone to where they originally belong. Soujuuro who was summoned by Chaldea follow Fujimaru and Mash to Chaldea. Though, when the three return to Chaldea, they were greeted by Aoko who got her way to Chaldea by catching Fujimaru and Mash's signal.
This is where Aoko reveal that she shouldn't have had the leeway to move the entire Singularity into the future during her first fight with the Shiny Star, so she suspect that Soujuurou must've done something. Although Soujuurou never actually confirm it to her, it was then revealed to us readers that Soujuurou had used his secret technique, which what became his NP, to land a hit on the Shiny Star, at the cost of his own life, staggering it long enough for Aoko to move the Singularity to the future.

Which preexisting Servants do you think were improved most by FGO?
With so many years and so many Servants added from different entries in the franchise I'm curious about how the community feels about how those non-FGO Servants were improved by it.
Cursed Arm is a great example. A simple one note character who didn't have much personality and only showed up for one route in the original visual novel with sparse appearances, he didn't really leave much of an impression character wise.
And then we meet him in Camelot and we really start to get a proper feel for him. He's a leader who cares for those around him and would gladly throw away his proof of his leadership (his killing technique Zabaniya) just to stop Tristan. I love this guy.

A Chronological Plot Summary of Mahoyo Collab Event
With the Mahoyo Collab's story ending today alongside Alice's release, it's time to make a summary! This one is particular is done chronologically.
# Disclaimer:
This summary is by no means my own translation or my personal playthrough experience of reading the Mahoyo Collab event. This summary was done by Itqan Madani on FB. He's a certified freelance translator and is even a translator for Muse Asia. He has been translating FGO JP as a casual player and sharing it on his FB feed. I've been following him since 2021, and I could say that his TLs are fairly accurate when compared to the official NA translations. Of course, I have received his permission to post his summary. I highly recommend to check his translations if ever you feel impatient.

# How Things Began - Alice's New Ploy Kickshaw
Everything starts with Alice making a new Ploy named "Only One/Number One - Shiny Star," which is meant to grant a wish with the restriction being that the wish has to be the "number one" wish and is the "only one" of that wish in the world. However, with such a restrictive ruling, Alice deemed the Ploy a failure and never used it. That said, unused Ploy will fill up curses as time passes, and she can't let it overflow. In 1997, she decided to dismantle the Ploy in a cottage in the mountain, but after knowing that there's Kumano Inn nearby, she decided to dismantle it there.
# Kudan, Kinomi, and the Kumano Inn
However, during her stay, Shiny Star was stolen by a Kudan (a type of yokai) and taken to the owner of the inn, Kinomi. The Kudan then made Alice forget about the Ploy. Unknowingly, Kinomi was made to use Shiny Star in his dream, activating the Ploy. In response, the Ploy decided to power itself by granting other people's wishes first. This led to the creation of the 5 Secret Baths, which will grant one specific "wish" to the people taking it, but they then will be killed by another version of themselves.
# Shiny Star, Soujuurou's Death, and Aoko's Involvement
Two years later, in May 1999, after learning about the changes happening in the Kumano Inn, Alice remembered her stolen Ploy and decided to go back there to retrieve it, this time with Soujuurou along with her. However, at the same time, Shiny Star managed to grant five wishes, thus powering itself enough to finally fulfill Kinomi's "wish." And as part of its nature, Shiny Star tries to make Kinomi's "wish" a "Number One" which it tries to achieve by gathering and denying all wishes humanity makes, thus making Kinomi's the only "wish" to exist therefore a "number one."
However, without their wish or drives, humanity would stagnate and simply die out, leading to world's destruction. Alice tried to stop the Shiny Star but failed, and Soujuuro died as a result. The Shiny Star was already beyond her control, turning the whole area into a Singularity.
Sometime later, Aoko appeared and tried to stop Shiny Star, much to no avail, so she decided to do her usual procrastination tactic and send the Singularity to the future to be dealt with later, erasing everything that happened there on that day, delaying it from happening by 2 years.
# 2001 Kumano Inn Singularity - Start of Chaldea's Involvement
Two years later, in 2001, Shiny Star "once again" tries to activate by granting people's wishes via the Secret Baths. Knowing this, Aoko tries to prevent people from using the Secret Baths, not letting it to power up as much as it did prior. This is when Aoko meets up with Fujimaru and Mash and agrees to work together with them. Also, since Soujuurou had "died" previously, Fujimaru ended up summoning Soujuurou as a Servant, registering him to the Throne of Heroes (though he can only summoned by Chaldea). Aoko also secretly meets up with the adult Soujuurou, who had come here with Alice, and forcefully warped him

* It is a misconception that you should save the 4\* CE EXP from the FP gacha and use them during anni.
* During this event, if you feed the CE EXP immediately, it will take 1.434M FP to level 100 a CE.
* If you were to save the 4\* CE EXP and spend it during anni (3x super success), it would take 1.347M FP to level 100 a CE.
* You would have to deal with inventory management and second storage management for the opportunity to save less than 100k FP per FULLY leveled CE. This is less than 12.5k FP per 1\* CE bomb. It is not worth it.

Overview:
* The boss summons adds every turn and reduces its HP for every summon. The adds have various buffs and card resists.
Noteworthy mechanics:
* The boss is permanently charmed on their 1st HP bar. Each add that's summoned reduces the boss by 100k max HP.
* If there are 6 enemies, the boss will remove its max HP debuff until you kill one of the adds.
* When you break the boss's HP bar, the charm is removed.
* The adds can give party evasion and will do it often.
* If you bring a cat characteristic servant the enemies will get permanent 20% defense and permanent terror.
Strategy:
* Use AOE attacks, preferably with sure hit or pierce invuln (Origin Bullet is very good on this). Don't let 6 adds be on the field.

## Excavation Guide

The main quest is locked behind a point ladder. In order to get points, you have to mine the excavation board.
You mine the excavation board with tools, which you get from free quests. There are 3 types of tools: Red Shovels, Blue Hammers, and Yellow Pickaxes.
You can increase the rate of these dropping by equipping the First Day of Filming CE onto your party.

In addition, there are gold mats hidden underneath some of the tiles. The 4 tiles overlapping those gold mats must be dug in order to get the mat underneath.
You can choose to target mine mats if you want to optimize tool usage for specific mats. Alternatively, if you are too lazy, you can click the Auto Dig button and it will keep mining as long as you have tools.
It takes 220 red, 210, blue, and 210 yellow tools to fully uncover the map.
You can reset the board at any time and should actively reset if you are only looking for specific mats/tiles.
Although you can exchange tools for different colors, the event behind point ladder locked means you will slow your event progress. Only consider swapping once the point ladder is done.
## FAQ
The Boss Gauge on the side does nothing. Don't worry about it.
You can get additional rewards when doing free quests: CE EXP, QP, and FP.
Buy the shop CEs, equip them when you're running free quests.
You must do worse nodes in order to progress in the event because the main story (and free quests) are locked behind the point ladder. You're going to have a bad time if you think you can just slack 1 week and then do the 90+ node immediately. You need 70k points to unlock the 90+ node.
If you are appling this event, you can consider only borrowing the First Day of Filming CE. IF you are not appling and you want to clear event shop, you should prioritize borrowing gacha CEs from friends after you've finished the event story.
You can consider appling this event if any of the following are true:
You have an absurd amount of apples that you cannot reasonably spend during other heavy farming events (GUDAGUDA 7 and Morganfest later this year are relevant ones).
You missed Teslafest and need gems to level your servants and have a reasonable amount of apples (200+).
You need multiple of the mats from this event and you value it more than mats from other events.
For most players with lower apple counts it is not recommended to apple this event due to future events being better for drops and the general playerbase undervaluing lotto efficiency.
Furthermore, for older events that have done a lot of lottos already, the gems from this event are misses, meaning a sizable amount of excavations goes to waste.
