Dante must endure despair every time he opens this gate.
If he succumbs to his despair, the gate stays open and makes a real mess of things.

A sword with a blunted point (meant for defense, rather than offense) originally belonging to an angel.
Was used to engrave the Ps on Dante's forehead.
Marking the target with sins puts them in various forms of peril, but also allows them to get powered up each time a sin is absolved.
In FGO, it's used as a regular weapon, and loses any abilities activated by the release of its True Name.

After being summoned, he got a job as a concierge for some reason. In his own words: "Hehe...... I got swept up in the moment......"
Apparently he had a pretty fun time running around the hotel as a concierge.
○In Ordeal Call IV
He was the first to be summoned, and created the foundations of Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell.
Through this process he attempted to summon Beatrice, but failed. Instead he wound up summoning a fearsome servant with a Jeanne d'Arc shell and a Metatron core.
She ousted him from his position as ruler of the Singularity and established a new power structure with herself sitting at the apex.
Exiled once again, Dante found himself unhappily stranded in Purgatory, but got picked up by Moriarty and started living together with him.
The two men started a business working as attorneys for the new influx of Hell and Purgatory denizens-- Sinners.
Then, the Master of Chaldea came to them with a new job.
Sensing that the Singularity was coming to its end, the two novice lawyers put themselves to work around Purgatory and Hell for the sake of three particularly grave sinners.

and the weight of his despair in order to stay beside him and try to lead him somewhere better. Her appearance changed because of what she chose to carry, not because her heart or values changed.
And I really think this event proves that she was right to do so.
Because if Jeanne had not stayed with him, if she had not borne that burden, if she had not shown him that even someone like him was still worth reaching out to, then I do not think Chiemon would have made the choice he makes here. He would not have turned around. He would not have helped Chaldea. He would not have sacrificed himself to save someone else.
So to me, this event does more than just give Chiemon closure. It recontextualizes his entire role in Samurai Remnant, and it also sheds light on Jeanne’s. She was never enabling evil for its own sake. She was trying to save the one person in front of her who had fallen the furthest, and in the end, she was right that there was still something human left to save.
That is why this feels so important to me. It does not just complete Chiemon’s arc. It also confirms that Jeanne’s faith in him was not misplaced.
So I ask again...why was this locked behind a TEMPORARY event that isn't even getting a re-run? Why was this not something we could have seen in FSR? In fsr he could have reached his hell, he could have seen that his family weren't there, and then made the decision. This is major character resolution that has no reason to not be in FSR.
And lastly, I think Chiemon deserves to be a summonable Servant. Yeah, I like Chiemon that much.
You could take him in a lot of directions, Avenger, Berserker, even Lancer or Caster (he knows fire magecraft) and have his ascensions reflect his gradual acceptance and peace. There’s also a lot of potential for an interlude where he reflects on Jeanne and what she did for him, even if the Chaldea version of her wouldn’t remember those events.
I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but it feels like there’s way more that could be done with him, and this event proved it. I'm curious to see what everyone else thinks.

Taisui/Voyager: Just kill them. They get stronger the longer you take.
Taisui/Ibaraki/Asterios: Ibaraki has guts while the other two are on the field. This is mostly pointless, just bring AOE and then kill her with a facecard after.
Taisui/Nursery Rhyme/Hans: Just kill them. Hans gets accelerated NP charge so buff stacking can happen if you take too long.
Taisui/Benienma/Kiyohime: Just kill them. Don't take too long, the burn will stack quickly.

If you want to clear the event shop, prioritizing borrowing gacha CEs from friends. Only borrow Con CE (Star's Day Off) if you start the event late.
Different servants have bonus drops for Con. Keep this in mind if you want to priorize a certain color when farming. Make sure to also equip the shop CE and Taisui in your party when you get him.
It doesn't matter which crafting/production quest you pick, they all have the same result.
Technically there are some minor story battle effects based on which plan you choose but it's insignificant.
After the event ends, you may reset the choices you have made and pick the other choices to get more silver apples. You will only get silver apples for unchosen routes (it will say which routes you've already picked).

Mostly did this for fun, to correct a few errors, and to get his voice as a character across, enjoyyy

The publication of the Divine Comedy, his masterpiece of epic poetry, had an enormous influence on medieval European literature, and simultaneously laid the foundations of the Renaissance.

Beatrice, the heroine of the Divine Comedy who saves Dante, was modeled on a real-life girl named Bice.
He yearned to return to Florence his entire life, but never did, and died of malaria in Ravenna in 1321.
"Hehe...... I got exiled...... Even though my hidden powers had awakened......"
Contrary to appearances, he's a cautious type who tends to play the fool.
His seemingly meaningful "Hehe......"-ing is basically just a means of buying time so he can figure out what to say next.
He isn't naturally foolish, but rather puts on an air of calculated foolishness.
You could probably call it natural the moment you start making those calculations in the first place, though.

○Wanderer of Three Worlds: EX
A skill granted to Dante for traveling through the three worlds of Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven.
It allows him to traverse realms normally forbidden to humans.
○One Hundred Poems, One Hundred Stars: A+
Dante's Comedy is consistently structured around the number three: it consists of three cantiche, Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso, each of which is divided into thirty-three smaller cantos.
These, plus the prologue canto, add up to make one hundred poems in all.
All three cantiche conclude with a description of the stars.
○Mark of Seven Sins: B
Designates the seven Ps written on Dante's forehead by an angel in Purgatory.
Whenever a sin is absolved, one of the Ps disappears.
"Hehe...... Maybe I can even travel to the bottom of the ocean.....?"
Bond 4
Dante Alighieri acts out the role of Dante, protagonist of the Divine Comedy. That being said, there's almost no difference between the Dante in the Comedy and the actual one, so the only change here is that he's experienced the events of his own story as real.
He's a Pretender, but a rare case in which the role he's playing is actually still his genuine self.
His means of attack include summoning various demons and beasts depicted in the Inferno and the blunted angel's sword he possesses as one of his Noble Phantasms.
Naturally, he's summoned at a point after his journeys in the Divine Comedy have ended. He therefore positions his Master as the "protagonist" and himself as their helper, aiming to emulate Virgil, the ancient Roman poet who acted as his companion in the Comedy.
He's the type who will aid his Master as a Servant, but believes they have the right to make the final decisions in their own life.
He brags that his wish for the Grail is to return to his home city, but since Italy's now been unified more or less the way he hoped for, it isn't actually that strong of a wish.
All he has to do now is pray that Italy's peace continues.
Also, he really does talk like that.

A physical manifestation of the Gate of Hell, the most famous object in the Comedy.
When
Thoughts on the Fate/Samurai Remnant collab: Kind of frustrated Chiemon’s arc got resolved in FGO; and am I alone in thinking he should be summonable?
I’ve been thinking about the Fate/Samurai Remnant collab event in FGO since I was replaying fsr, and honestly it still feels strange to me that Chiemon’s true send-off happened in a limited-time gacha event instead of his own game.
In Samurai Remnant, he has three endings, and while Entreat the Darkness is the closest thing he gets to a “good” outcome, it’s still incomplete. It shows that there’s humanity left in him, something Jeanne clearly recognized and was trying to save, but it doesn’t fully resolve him. He took down caster, one of the masterminds behind the con of the holy grail war known as the Waxing Moon Ritual. But he’s still carrying all that pain and confusion. It was a step in the right direction.
Then the collab event takes his arc further in a way FSR never quite did.
He finally reaches “hell” only to realize his family isn’t there. That everything he did, everything he sacrificed and fought for, all the pain he put Jeanne through, was ultimately meaningless. Meaningless conflict, meaningless sacrifice, absolutely everything he did was for nothing.

This is where you'd think he'd break even more. That you'd think he'd just say "Fuck it" and go on a rampage, like he did in Flames of Resentment. But he doesn't. He doesn’t lash out. He doesn’t double down or try to drag the world down with him.
Instead, he chooses to help Chaldea. He fights against Ushi Gozen and makes a conscious choice to sacrifices himself to protect the world.

This moment recontextualizes and grows his entire character.
It shows that, beneath everything, beneath the hatred, the grief, and the terrible things he did, Chiemon was never truly an evil person. Chiemon was a broken man, consumed by despair, and led down a horrible path, but he was never actually evil. This also reinforces why Jeanne refused to give up on him. Unlike say Gilles, Chiemon was able to be saved because deep down, he wanted to be saved. Unlike Gilles who reveals in atrocities and wants to spit on God and Jeanne's image, Chiemon is just a scared child, he's not even 20 years old. At the start of FSR he even begs for God to forgive him for what he is about to do.
This event actually vindicates her decision to take on the alter look but not be inverted.
It shows that Jeanne was not corrupted or misguided. She saw something real in him that others couldn’t, or wouldn’t. The whole point of her Alter-like form was never that she had become evil or fallen or betrayed her ideals. It was that she took on his pain, his hatred,
