Unpopular opinion: I think Solid Snake's design in MGS1 is the definitive one. I always preferred him clean-shaven and with short hair while Big Boss with full beard and long hair. He just looks cooler in that game. For some reason, I never liked the beard/mustache on him in MGS2&4
