Undervolt PNY 507P
Hello, a few days ago I purchased the PNY RTX 5070. Today I undervolted it because I noticed it was running a bit too hot and drawing too much power. The undervolt settings are as follows: I set it to 2600 MHz at 925 mV, with the memory clock at +1500 and the power limit at 105%. I’ve managed to reduce power consumption to around 160 W max, with temperatures of about 62–64°C. Performance is very similar to stock. What do you think—can I push it further, or is this already fine?

Switched from RTX 3090 to RTX 5080.
Despite my skepticism, when I experienced MFG with Path Tracing Ultra on Cyberpunk 2077, I was blown away after 30 plus years of gaming. I had seen youtube videos, read a lot. But its a different beast to experience it in person. I am now only imagining what Witcher 4 would be like.

4080 vs 5070ti
Hey everyone, I'm having a hard time choosing the best GPU for me. I've narrowed it down to these two offers:
\-RTX 4080 Gigabyte Eagle for $750
\-RTX 5070ti Msi Ventus 3x Black for $950
They are both used.
My other specs are Gigabyte B650 Eagle Ax with Rzyen 5 9600x and 32GB DDR5 RAM. I will game on a 1440p ultrawide 180Hz monitor and on a 4K 120Hz TV.
I mostly play story driven AAA games and occasionally comp games
My goal is 1440p UW at 90+fps or 4k at 60+fps with high/ultra settings and ray tracing or path tracing when possible.
I don't mind using DLSS and frame gen or even lowering some settings.
I'd like to keep the card for the next few years as well.

Micro stutter on RTX 4060
Hello,
I am running RTX 4060 2X 8G OC with driver 596.36 and I am experiencing small stutters from time to time on games that should not cause it such as Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Battlefleet Gothic 2, Starship Troopers Terran Command it happens usually when something shows on screen. Looking at MSI Afterburner when the fps drops FB usage is down for the moment then immediately jumps back. I am on the latest Win 10 version. Games mentioned are installed on SSD M.2 Samsung NVMe 990. HAGS is On. Both GPU and CPU run at around 65C and bellow.

RTX 5070 TI models recommendations? - Asus Prime OC vs Inno3d iChill X3 vs Ventus 3X OC
As the title suggests I am currently putting together a pc build and I narrowed it down to a RTX 5070 TI and 3 different models that would be in my budget (pricest based on germany/austria based vendors, I'm from germany).
MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G Ventus 3X OC (903€)
ASUS Prime GeForce RTX 5070 Ti OC (916€)
INNO3D GeForce RTX 5070 TI iCHILL X3 (960€)
Now I scoured through a lot of reviews and discussions, but it's difficult to assess all three cards against each other since they rarely compare them specifically.
I feel a bit lost now and I would like some input from you people on which card to take. I know they are all on the "lower end" of the 5070TI models, but are there some standouts like frequent temperature or noise issues? I saw the iCHILL for example is a Quad slot, while the other 2 are tripple slot cards. Is that worth the markup of \~60€?

5070 Ti reccomendations, personal experience with the Gigabyte Eagle SFF?
Hello!
I've had a 5070 ti Asus Prime OC for the last year until it broke (VBIOS corruption or something) and now I've RMA'd it, the Prime is no longer in stock so question is which model to choose?
They recommended the Gigabyte Eagle OC SFF but I can't find much info on it online in regards to noise levels.
The two most important things for me are thermals and noise, as well as form factor because I have an SFF case. Card length can't exceed 322mm.
Any recs or personal experience with the Eagle SFF? Would love your input.

Im curious. do you turn up your fan speeds in summer?
So basically fan speeds is nothing i was thinking about too much usually i just have them on auto in the nvidia app. But I was thinking with the heat in summer isnt it maybe smart to turn it up to like 50 percent from the get go so that "less" heat is generated in your room for example

PTM7950 on RTX 4070TI Super
since it's summer and hot, i decided to apply PTM7950 to my year old system. i decided to repaste because the delta b/w temps and hot spot was ~20C.
I will note, that testing conditions aren't the best. ambient temp has been 25-33C and I turned off NVIDIA's performance mode after day 1, i figured this would make the card cycle temps better.
i turned off the computer as much as possible. in 4 days, probably 6 full on/off cycles with multiple hours to cooldown. ran 2 tests after startup, one to heat up and one to record results.
PTM is 100% legit, from MODDIY
tested using furmark 1440P Vulkan benchmark on 300Mhz Monitor. all temps are MAXIMUM recorded by HWiNFO

UV/OC : 2700MHz@925mV
Thermal Limit: 84C
Stock Paste
>GPU: 72C

stock paste was actually good. no spots, hardened, but barely any mess. i assume pre-molded thermal paste was used. i didn't change thermal pads.

overall, results are pretty good, probably because stock paste was still ok but eventually needed changing later.

PTM or Thermal Paste for 4070 on Notebook
Hi everybody,
My laptop seems to start lagging while gaming as summer is heating up. I have never changed the thermals after I've bought it around 2023 and it was running fine till now. I still haven't dissembled the case but i think it is time for a renewal on the thermals.
So the question is as title says; should i go for ptm or a thermal paste like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut would be enough for a 4070 on a laptop. I mean since ptm liqudates on high temperatures would it be an overkill for a 4070, and a thermal paste would just be enough?
The laptop is an Asus ROG Strix G614JI which has following specs: i9-13980HX, 16 gb ram, GeForce RTX 4070 8gb, Win11 64bit.
