Is it better to use Largos or pure?

Very new to the game and the series as a whole, and have been playing casually for a few days while waiting for other games to come out. I was wondering if it's beneficial to use Largo combinations instead of pure slimes. It kinda seems like a better idea just looking at it; less food for more plorts, and an extra favorite food. I wanna know other people's opinions.

About Drones

hello there, recently I installed slime rancher 2 again, I haven't played since it got removed from gamepass, so I haven't played the 1.0 yet, now in my new gameplay I notice something, on my old save file I got like 3 drones really early on game, and now on the new file I haven't even unlock the drone craft.

it's a game design choice that change it to the late game or did I miss something important?

hi so i just got a yolky slime but im not getting any plorts help

so i’ve put it inside my coop and after sleeping for a day there were about 50 stony hens. i know you get eggs and break them to get plorts but there werent any eggs, my guess is that they already exploded but got me no plorts?!??!?!?! please help me guys also i only found one and never found one in my main save on my 2015 laptop nor my ps5 (i’ve got a handheld pc now yay!)

where do i find more?

edit: also not to brag or anything but i found it in my first 10 minutes of my playthrough

Gold Plorts-SR vs SR2

I played SR2 first. I have every trophy except for slimepedia because after 45 hours I never saw a single gold plort. Started Slime Rancher last night, after 2 hours I have seen 3 lucky slimes and 3 gold slimes, getting gold plorts twice. Frustrating that the differences are so great between the games.
