Need help - Somehow have Raccoon on 3rd floor balcony
I have no idea if this is the right place to post but I’m confused and need assistance. I came home and looked outside to see a Raccoon on my 3rd floor apartment balcony. I have no idea how he could have got there and idk how he’s going to be able to get out besides jumping over the railing and he’s just laying there. I’ve tried calling local animal control places but they are all closed or can’t come out till next week. Landlords office is closed.
Could really use some advice, do I keep trying to find someone open to come take care of it or hope he somehow finds a way to leave and is gone by tomorrow?

Another mama?
I have a young female coons that have been appearing together for several months. I'm thinking maybe mama and last year's baby. The larger one had her babies a few weeks ago, and I finally saw them this week. She's nursing and comes for BREAKFAST right now.
The smaller was acting strange yesterday. She was panting slightly, and splooting, but it wasnt that hot and she was in shade. The bigger coon had made soup out of their water tray, as usual. She came over to the food, but walked away. I went on to the patio w the cat, and she stayed close by for several minutes. I got her a fresh bowl of water, and she scarfed it up. I've not seen her today. Do you think she was in early stages of labor?
