Got a visit from a trash panda
I let my cat out in our semi-rural area, and when I opened the door, saw a trashpanda next to my cat. I haven't seen one in a decade or more around here. The cat didn't seem bothered or in a fight, but my startled shout did make it retreat a little. It lingered for a little bit, so I tried talking to it, it had no interest.
I'm not sure what I should do, I have a slight concern for my cat, or that someone around here may attempt to make it into a hat... thoughts or comments welcome.

I had a party at my house the other night.. I ended up with 7 or 8 guest.. So adorable.
I have a stray cat I was trying to get to know better, so I put some food out a few times. I saw my cats were watching something at the back door so I flipped the light on. There was just one racoon, but then it started looking around and even climbed a tree to look around. Then #2 shows up and they scrap a bit, so #2 leaves.. Then I see it come back with 3 other friends.. They then call a few more friends and it's a party. I only thought there were 3 out there (I see them on my cameras every night) but was really shocked to see so many.. I know there's more along with opossums and kit foxes.

Petition to save the trash pandas of Raccoon Ravine
Raccoon Ravine (@raccoonravine) is a tiktok account that livestreams feeding of raccoons and other fur babies every night. Many of us who watch the livestream are able to pick out familiar faces, such as Dogface the raccoon, Kevin and Casey (the raccoon couple), and Ditto the orphaned opossum.
Unfortunately, Raccoon Ravine is located right next to hunting grounds, and hunting season has already started. This morning, Sally the opossum was spotted by hunters and was unalived.
