Raccoon help
Hi everyone. Unfortunately I fell in love with a momma raccoon and her baby that I was feeding which turned into about 10+ raccoons coming around nightly for food. I know it’s not a good thing to do but I was a sucker. Tonight they ripped through our lanai screen room and that (obviously) is not okay.
I feel horrible to abruptly stop feeding them (and giving water to those who get it- first come first serve-), but I can’t have them damaging my home. It was bad enough that they dig up the yard like crazy now searching for more food. I feel sick to my stomach because I know I created this mess. I became close and bonded with one of the raccoons (I know I probably sound crazy) and the rest is history since.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 😔
