i want to give it gravity so it will start off not bouncing as high and going slower then gradually increasing in speed and bounce and being able to move freely around the box and bounce off the walls but also have a cap for how fast it can go

I'm launching a tool that turns Illustrator fonts into bitmap fonts (.fnt + .png)
Hey everyone
I’ve been working on a tool that helps game developers generate bitmap fonts from Illustrator files.
It:
Exports `.fnt` \+ `.png` files (sprite atlas)
Supports kerning + multilingual charsets
Is built specifically for game engines like Unity
I know creating bitmap fonts with proper kerning and formatting can be tedious (or requires outdated tools), so I made something to streamline the process.
Right now I’m preparing a closed beta, if you:
Use custom fonts in your games
Work with pixel or UI-heavy games
Or just want to test the workflow...

My mobile game has 35 Daily Active User and it made $15
I recently published my game on Google Play and the App Store. So far, it has around 400 downloads and averages 35 daily active users. It's a strategy game with PvP gameplay.
Organic traffic has been low, but I’ve launched a Meta Ads campaign. Players have started making in-app purchases, and I’ve recovered a small portion of my ad spend. Currently, the game has a $1 CPI in the US and a 33% Day 1 retention rate.
How should I continue growing the game? Do you think publishers would be interested at this stage?

Just released my first asset pack after months of learning digital art 🍄 Mystic Mushrooms Vol. 1 is LIVE!
Hey devs! I'm a solo indie dev working on a philosophical platformer called Quantum Flip and decided to start building reusable asset packs along the way.
This is my first official pack hand-drawn glowing mushrooms with 60 PNGs including solo types, clusters, and glow FX. Took a while to find a clean export workflow and art style I liked, but I'm proud of how it turned out.

Finally, Made My Inventory RPG-Style Using 100% Unity Visual Scripting. (No C#, No Scriptable Object. No 3rd Party Assets)
After 13 days since I got the wish to add an inventory to my game...

My game can now:
• Drop items with random suffix/prefix names with stat bonuses.
• Pick them and add to inventory. Checks if it's stackable, empty slot or shows bag full.
• Can equip weapons or armors. They can't be crossed (armor in weapon, etc).
• Weapon becomes available when equipped to be used.
• Headgear shows a placeholder - I can add TONS of headgear styling with this now as it follows player's head.
• Items have stats that adds and shows correctly in player's stat screen
• Stat screen have separated base stat + bonus stat. And even shows special effects power.
• System can be saved / loaded even after game closes so progress and drops are not lost.
• Inventory is scrollable, resizeable, and can have less or more slots with ease (maybe start small and purchase more space?)

I may share a tutorial on how to do this. Because I didn't see any tutorial for this online.
The only ones I've found are sort of "here's a custom node made with c#, buy it, and get it done" type of videos... and that is not a tutorial. That's an upsell.
Anyways, wanted to share my progress with the community. And connect with anyone interested in uVS. It's fun, and it's a shame there's not many (and updated) tutorials out there on how to do gameDev features like this. So i'll be happy to share how it's done :D

P.D. btw 13 days is not the time it took me to do it. Its when i thought "i want it".
The actual doing could be around 3~5 days.
P.P.D. I also did the level up system and the drop system with random suffix/prefix with magic stats simultaneously. Since gears bonuses adds stats. So both things had to work together...

How to trigger NPC dialog when player presses E? I’m confused about UI setup in Hierarchy and scripting.
Hi everyone, I’m working on a 2D RPG in Unity (version 2021.3) and I’m currently trying to make an NPC dialog system. Here’s what I want to achieve:
🗨️ Goal:
When the player walks near an NPC and presses E, a dialog panel appears with the NPC’s text. I want to show the dialog using UI Canvas + TextMeshPro, and be able to press a “Next” button to continue to the next line.
💬 What I already have:
• I created a UI Canvas with:
• A Dialog Panel
• A TextMeshProUGUI for the dialog text
• A Next button
• I added a trigger collider to the NPC and a script that detects the player.
• I have a basic NPCDialog.cs script and player movement working.
📛 The problem:
I can’t figure out how to:
1. Make the dialog panel appear only when the player is near the NPC and presses E
2. Make sure the UI works correctly in the scene (I think I may have set up something wrong in the Hierarchy or Canvas)
3. Trigger different dialog per NPC (optional)
🔧 Extra Info:
• I’m using Unity 2021.3
• 2D project with Rigidbody2D and Collider2D on both player and NPC
• I tried using Input.GetKeyDown(“E”) but maybe I placed it wrong
📷 (Optional) I can share screenshots of my Hierarchy or script if needed!
🙏 I would appreciate any guidance or sample structure on how to properly organize the UI in the Hierarchy, how to make the dialog panel appear and disappear, and how to manage interaction input.
