UN experts urge United Kingdom not to misuse terrorism laws against protest group Palestine Action | OHCHR

"GENEVA – UN experts* today urged the United Kingdom not to ban the “direct action” group Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation under the Terrorism Act 2000.
“We are concerned at the unjustified labelling of a political protest movement as ‘terrorist’,” the experts said. “According to international standards, acts of protest that damage property, but are not intended to kill or injure people, should not be treated as terrorism.”
The Government asserts that the group is “terrorist” because some members have allegedly caused criminal damage to property, including at military bases and arms companies, with the aim of progressing its political cause and influencing the Government. Proscription would trigger a range of criminal offences relating to support for the group.
Palestine Action positions itself as a national activist network that promotes civil disobedience and takes direct action against companies and institutions deemed by the group as being used by Israel to violently enforce apartheid, occupation, colonisation and genocide in Palestine.
“While there is no binding definition of terrorism in international law, best practice international standards limit terrorism to criminal acts intended to cause death, serious personal injury or hostage taking, in order to intimidate a population or compel a government or an international organisation to do or to abstain from doing any act,” the experts said.
“The UK supported this approach in voting for Security Council resolution 1566 in 2004,” they said. “Mere property damage, without endangering life, is not sufficiently serious to qualify as terrorism.”

In this video, he presented his new pre-print on COVID-19 vaccine safety in pregnancy. Based on the analysis of 226,395 singleton pregnancies in Israel from 2016 to 2022, Dr Guetzkow and his fellow researchers concluded that women vaccinated in early pregnancy (weeks 8-13) had a higher-than-expected number of fetal losses:
Dose 1 = 3.9 more per 100 women
Dose 3 = 1.9 more per 100 women.

That's now forgotten about.

This weekend they were having a meltdown over Bob Vylan chanting 'death to the IDF'.

Neither of these issues have any major impact on this country.

The entire 'approved right' in this country like Talk TV, Spiked, Conservative Woman, Daily Mail, Express, Pearson, Robinson, Fox, Vance, Hopkins, Tousi, Jenrick, Braverman, etc etc care more about Israel than they do about the UK.

Some of them are simply political prostitutes and are paid to do so.

Some because they are married into the cause.

Some because they mistakenly think that by shilling for israel why might be able to get stuff done.

Their entire purpose is to co-opt your anger and channel it towards zionist causes.

"GENEVA, July 1 (Reuters) - A U.N. expert has named over 60 companies, including major arms manufacturers and technology firms, in a report alleging their involvement in supporting Israeli settlements and military actions in Gaza, which she called a "genocidal campaign."

It names arms firms such as Lockheed Martin (LMT.N), opens new tab and Leonardo (LDOF.MI), opens new tab, alleging their weaponry has been used in Gaza. It also lists heavy machinery suppliers Caterpillar Inc (CAT.N), opens new tab and HD Hyundai (267250.KS), opens new tab, claiming their equipment has contributed to property destruction in Palestinian territories.
Caterpillar has previously stated it expects its products to be used in line with international humanitarian law. None of the companies immediately responded to Reuters' requests for comment.
Technology giants Alphabet (GOOGL.O), opens new tab, Amazon (AMZN.O), opens new tab, Microsoft (MSFT.O), opens new tab, and IBM (IBM.N), opens new tab were named as "central to Israel's surveillance apparatus and the ongoing Gaza destruction."
Alphabet has previously defended its $1.2 billion cloud services contract with the Israeli government, stating it is not directed at military or intelligence operations.
Palantir Technologies (PLTR.O), opens new tab was also mentioned for providing AI tools to the Israeli military, though specifics on their use were not included."

No Further Action to be Taken Against Kneecap Rapper Mo Chara' MP's Comments, Confirms Metropolitan Police - Dorset Eye

"Ó hAnnaidh appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 18 June and was released on unconditional bail, with a return hearing scheduled for 20 August. However, the Metropolitan Police have now confirmed that the investigation has been concluded and the charge relating to comments about MPs will not proceed.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said:

“A thorough investigation has now been completed by detectives from the Counter Terrorism Command, which included interviewing an individual under caution and seeking early investigative advice from the Crown Prosecution Service. A range of offences were considered as part of the investigation. However, given the time elapsed between the events in the video and the video being brought to police attention, any potential summary only offences were beyond the statutory time limit for prosecution.
“Relevant indictable offences were considered by the investigation team, and, based on all of the current evidence available, a decision has been made that no further action will be taken at this time.
“We understand the impact this decision may have on MPs and their staff. The safety and security of MPs is something that is taken extremely seriously across the whole of policing. MPs who may be concerned about their safety can contact their dedicated local Operation Bridger officer, who can provide further advice and support.”
The news comes just days after Kneecap performed to a large crowd on Glastonbury’s West Holts Stage on 28 June. The BBC chose not to broadcast the performance live amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the group."
