Rutgers University students for now will have no choice but to comply with the university’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate, a federal appeals court ruled.
The court said the students failed “to offer any historical example to establish a ‘fundamental right’ to be free from a vaccine requirement at a public university.”

Researchers concluded that vaccine mandates "did not significantly change ... COVID-19 vaccination" rates.
But now the medical orthodoxy has a bigger problem: mandates have turned people off to the idea of taking other vaccines.
"Compared to states that banned vaccine restrictions, however, states with mandates had lower levels of COVID-19 booster adoption as well as adult and child flu vaccination, especially when residents initially were less likely to vaccinate for COVID-19."
Fauci even admitted, behind closed doors, that the Covid-19 pandemic could increase vaccine hesitancy in the future.

ABC to Face Trial Over ‘General Hospital’ Firings Tied to COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates
🇺🇸💉ABC must face religious discrimination claims from two former General Hospital crewmembers who sued the network after they were fired for refusing the COVID-19 vaccination, marking one of the first rulings to clear the way for trial over terminations caused by blanket vaccine mandates widely imposed by studios amid the pandemic.
A Los Angeles judge, in an order issued Tuesday (Feb 20), found that James and Timothy Wahl may have had “sincerely held” religious beliefs that ABC should have accommodated by affording them exemptions and allowing them to follow safety protocols implemented before mandatory vaccination policies were rolled out.
ABC was among several studios that in the summer of 2021 carried out vaccine mandates, which were agreed upon by Hollywood’s guilds and studios.

CDC May Recommend Another COVID Booster Shot This Spring
🇺🇸💉The U.S. CDC is weighing whether to recommend another COVID booster shot this spring, most likely for those who are vulnerable to severe illness.
An advisory panel to the CDC is expected to vote on whether to recommend a spring booster during a Feb. 28 meeting, a source close to the panel told NBC News. The panel is expected to focus on the safety of high-risk Americans, including people 65 and older and anyone with a weakened immune system.
"The discussion will be aimed at the people who are most accepting of public health recommendations," Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious diseases expert at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., told NBC News.

Supreme Court Rejects U.S. Lawmakers’ Appeal Over Mask Rule Violations
🇺🇸😷The Supreme Court on Tuesday (Feb 20) refused to revive a lawsuit from three House Republicans after their pay was docked for not complying with a pandemic-era mask requirement on the chamber floor.
In a brief order without any noted dissents, the court let stand a lower ruling that tossed the constitutional challenge filed by Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Ralph Norman (R-S.C.).
The three conservative lawmakers were fined $500 in May 2021 after flouting the House floor mask mandate that was put in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic, kicking off a years-long attempt by the trio of lawmakers to get the penalties lifted.
House rules fined lawmakers $500 for their first infraction with the mask mandate, and $2,500 for subsequent breaches. It would be withdrawn from their yearly pay. Greene racked up more than $100,000 in fines, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The lawmakers were protesting the House floor mask mandate, highlighting the fact the CDC had recently said individuals who are fully vaccinated do not need to wear masks in most public settings. At the time, Norman said he had been vaccinated, Greene would not reveal her status, and Massie said he would not get the jab because he had COVID-19 antibodies from a previous bout with the illness.
