Recommendation - SFF Build Beginner
Hi everyone, I'm planning my first PC build and want to go with a SFF setup for gaming (I'm done with gaming laptops and want a desktop that I can still easily move around if needed)
I’m considering the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB for the GPU.
Does anyone know what the smallest viable case is for this card without things overheating?
My budget is around €1k - €1.5k.
I’m completely new to building this will be my first PC.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Using 2x8pin instead of 3x8 pin
Hey
So I recently bought an asus prime 9070 xt which has 3x8pin slots. Right now I only have 2x8pin cables and have ordered 1 more which should arrive this week or next week.
i was just wondering if its safe to only plug in those 2x8pins, leave the last one not plugged and use the pc just for youtube and such untill the final cable arrives?
Thanks

How to achieve the quietest and lowest-temperature gaming build with an RTX 5080 at 1440p
I’m planning to build a gaming PC mainly for 1440p gaming with an RTX 5080, and my goal is to make it as quiet and cool as possible.
From what I understand, liquid cooling and larger cases usually provide the best temperatures and noise levels. However, I’m not a fan of liquid cooling, and I also don’t want a large mid-tower case because it would take up too much space in my room.
So I’m trying to find the best small form factor (SFF) setup with excellent airflow and low noise, even under gaming load.
I’m willing to completely ignore aesthetics — my only priorities are:
low temperatures
low noise
good airflow
The only component I’m set on is the RTX 5080 GPU. Everything else (CPU, case, cooling, PSU, etc.) is flexible.
Does anyone have recommendations for a quiet SFF build around an RTX 5080 that can handle 1440p gaming while staying cool and quiet?
Thanks!

What's the best ITX-case without riser-cable?
Hey,
so I've had some issues with the riser cable in my Fractal Terra in the past and even though it seems to work fine now, I think I'll switch to a non-riser case at the end of the year.
So with that in mind, which case can you guys recommend? What I want from the case.
\- no riser cable (no sandwhich design or anything)
\- larger than the Fractal Terra for better heat dissipation, space for fans
\- room for a bigger CPU-cooler than the NH-L12S that I currently use
\- but still an ITX-sized case
\- generally: reliable, sturdy
\- Edit: In the 100$ range if possible
thank you all!
