Statement issued by Hezbollah regarding the resumption of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip:
Hezbollah condemns in the strongest terms the Zionist enemy's resumption of its war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, targeting children, women, and defenseless civilians as they sleep. This comes at a time when the people of Gaza are subjected to a stifling siege and harsh starvation, in flagrant violation of all international laws and humanitarian conventions.
The decision of the terrorist Netanyahu government to overturn the ceasefire and resume igniting the war in full partnership with the US administration, amid shameful international silence, confirms that this rogue entity, along with the US administration, respects no commitments or agreements. They are two sides of the same coin, thirsty for blood and knowing only the language of killing and destruction. This also exposes the true nature of the US administration in its ongoing efforts to destabilize the region through aggression against Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, with its absolute support for its Zionist military apparatus and its efforts to forcefully impose new policies and realities. Fire.
We, in Hezbollah, affirm our full and unwavering support for the valiant Palestinian resistance and the honorable people of Gaza. We call on the Arab and Islamic peoples and the free people of the world to expose the American-Zionist partnership in the war of extermination against the Palestinian people. We demand that the remaining members of the free international community, the United Nations, the Security Council, and human rights and humanitarian organizations, take urgent action to halt this escalating crime against humanity and raise their voices to curb Zionist-American barbarism.
The Zionist enemy, which has failed to break the will of the resistance throughout fifteen months of brutal war, will not succeed in achieving what it has failed to achieve through this renewed aggression: erasing the just Palestinian cause or displacing its people from their land. Palestine will remain the central cause of the nation, Gaza will remain the symbol of pride and steadfastness, and this people will remain a role model for all peoples of the world in the struggle for justice and holy sites.
