This channel was set to share with us many information on Uzbek culture, things to do, to visit and much more.
Am registered since a long time and the channel, fed by you, was remarkably important for those subjects and more during CoVid.
I would appreciate the channel continues sharing cutural subjects and others.
For the language subject I have no idea as I cannot follow courses due to the time difference between where I am and Tashkent.
Unless the all course are fully available on a pay per view channel. I would register too.
It has been more than two years since I opened a registration for the Uzbek language course in English for expats living in Uzbekistan and foreigners. I remember promising to deliver one this year.
I wonder how many people are ready start. If you are one of them, here is the google form for you to leave your contacts. If your friends, colleagues and other acquaintances were looking for the Uzbek language course, please spread the word!
We may start soon, if we have enough people signed up 🙌

Tashkent based online media Gazeta.uz in English went public. That means Gazeta.uz has officially launched its English editorial.
At this point, most of the pieces available on the website are translations of news run in Russian and Uzbek editorials. But, those are good quality translations of the news that foreign audiences might find interesting and useful. Press-services of foreign countries and international organizations shall no longer need to translate the pieces but read the English version.
Gazeta in English is also a great sources for students to practice their English language. You can enrich your vocabulary by tracing terms and concepts we use in Uzbek and Russian in English language.

So, lets decide again! Better abandon the channel or turn it into Uzbek language learning resource?

“SEVEN MOONS”
On April 8th at 18:30 the play will be shown with English subtitles.
«Seven Moons” written by Alisher Navoi is a poetic, Sufi parable about the mysterious equilibrium of fame and infamy, greatness and humiliation, about a shah who once had everything, but lost it all because of his regal pride. This is a tragic play about inflated wishes, about ambition becoming paranoia which hurts the lyrical soul of the artist. Navoi’s masterpiece came to life on-stage in close collaboration with the studio “SounDrama”. In this play, traditional music of the Middle East is combined with contemporary rhythms of the West, creating a cocktail of sounds and energy. From this combination and the elegant, office-style attire as well as the bright colors of traditional, Uzbek robes, the plasticity of Middle Eastern dance and the composure of European gestures, the beautiful Seven Moons, worthy of the great Navoi himself, was born.
