IT’S NOT A RELIGIOUS THING (True Worship Is Beyond Form Or Ritual)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
1 Corinthians 6:19 “...Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Some people just don’t get what worship really means, and so they miss out on its blessings and benefits. Worship is the recognition and appreciation of the goodness, blessings, kindness, and righteousness of God. It is the appreciation and recognition of His character and, therefore, the confession of His character. Hence, true praise is worship.
When, for instance, you give thanks to God and say, “Lord, you’re good; you’re kind; you’ve blessed me; you’re righteous,” you’re defining, recognising, appreciating, and promoting the character of God. The Lord appreciates that because it shows who He is in your life; it separates or distinguishes Him from everyone and everything else.
And you know what’s even cooler? When you thank Him for His goodness, provision, blessings, and all the wonderful things He’s done in your life, you’re saying, “Oh Lord, I know it’s you who did all these things.” You’re attributing those beautiful works to Him, and the necessary result is that He’ll do more for you and reveal Himself to you in a greater way.
Worship always brings a greater revelation of God. This is why we worship only God and not men, angels, or any other creation. How important worship is! It should be for you something beyond a form or ritual. It should be a time of true recognition, perception and a real encounter with who God is.

OVERWHELMED WITH JOY (Having Joy In The Midst Of Trouble)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Corinthians 7:4 MSG “I have, in fact, the greatest confidence in you. If only you knew how proud I am of you! I am overwhelmed with joy despite all our troubles.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
You would rarely find Sam with a frown or experiencing a bad day; the likelihood of such occurrences was extremely low. Instead, he always carried a gentle smile and exuded happiness and joy. The secret behind this constant joy was the influence of God’s Word in Sam’s heart and expressed through his words; it shaped and directed his life each day.
Is it possible to maintain joy even in the midst of troubles and challenges? Emphatically yes! That’s our life in Christianity. It makes no difference what we face; we’re unruffled and full of joy because we know the end from the beginning! We always win. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” This is God’s Word; it can’t be overturned. No wonder James said, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials” (James 1:2).
Regardless of how intense the challenges or pressures become, we never utter, “I can’t handle it anymore.” Instead, we remain steadfast and unshakable. Getting flustered is not our style, as it’s our nature to triumph. We face difficulties with cheerfulness; we’re “strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy” (Colossians 1:11). Glory to God!
Always remember that life’s adversities are the opportunities for your greatness to be tested and manifested. Therefore, in the face of opposition, always declare, “Greater is He that’s in me, than he that’s in the world!” Victory is in your spirit. This was the understanding of the Apostle Paul when he said, “I rejoice in my infirmities; I welcome trouble” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Have the same consciousness. Welcome challenges! Christ lives in you! With His Word in your heart and in your mouth, you’ll withstand any test and always prevail. Hallelujah!

“When you come to understand the nature and character of God, you’ll discover He doesn’t answer your prayer or bless you because you’re living right, neither does He refuse to bless you because you’re not. Living right is the desire of every child of God, for no true child of God will deliberately want to live in sin. Every child of God desires to come out of anything that’s wrong. That’s one of the signs by which you can identify a child of God—he’s uncomfortable with sin and doesn’t want to continue in it. That’s why when God looks at you, He doesn’t see your imperfection. As far as He’s concerned, you’re holy, unblameable, and unreproveable in His sight (Colossians 1:21-22).”

THE “TONGUES” HABIT (Cultivate The Habit Of Praying Always In The Spirit)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Ephesians 6:18 AMPC “Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).”’
▶️ LET’S TALK
To pray always means to be in constant communication and fellowship with the Lord; it’s always ongoing. He wants us to be in fellowship with Him all the time. At such times, you receive spiritual insights and information that give you an advantage in life. The Bible says to pray at all times, in all situations, with all kinds of prayers. So, no matter what kind of prayer it is, including the prayer of faith or intercession, praying in the spirit should be a part of it.
In 1 Corinthians 14:14-15, Paul said, “For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.” This shows that praying in the spirit is a priority. From the Spirit, you’ll know what words to use. Your tongue will be arranged and inspired to say the right things.
As you go out to win souls, you may not know what you’re going to say right away, but pray in the Spirit first, and He’ll give you the right words. You’ll say things that are consistent with His divine purpose because you’re in timely fellowship with Him through the Spirit. It reminds me of what the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 10:19-20: “…When they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.” Hallelujah! Therefore, make it a habit to always pray in the spirit and with the Spirit.

A GOOD REPORT (How To Obtain An Excellent Report From God)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Hebrews 11:2 AMPC “For by [faith—trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
How would you like to receive a good report from God? Our opening verse reveals that the elders in our spiritual family obtained good commendations from God through faith. If you desire God’s approval and seek praise from Him, it must be through your expressions of faith. No wonder He says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him…” (Hebrews 11:6).
The Bible says, “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God” (Hebrews 11:8- 10). As a result, James 2:23 says, ‘…”Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.’
How about Enoch? Genesis 5:24 says, “And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” Hebrews 11:5 tells us more; it says, “By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Hallelujah!
The heroes of faith listed in Hebrews 11, such as Abel, Noah, Samuel, Isaac, Sarah, Joseph, Moses, and others, all obtained a commendation through their faith. It’s noteworthy that although they didn’t receive the promise in their lifetime, God has provided something better for us. As Hebrews 11:39- 40 (TPT) conveys, “These were the true heroes, commended for their faith, yet they lived in hope without receiving the fullness of what was promised them. But now God has invited us to live in something better than what they had—faith’s fullness....”
Therefore, we have no excuse. Let your faith produce results daily. Embrace the faith life. Practice God’s Word, for faith is acting on the Word! This is the way to obtain an excellent report from God and walk in the glory and blessings of Christ.

DON’T RUSH YOUR PRAYING (The Importance Of Praying Without Giving Up)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Luke 18:1 AMPC “…[Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Someone once said, “I have so much to do in very little time; it leaves me with very little time to pray. So, in the mornings, I pray for only five minutes because I always have a busy day.” That’s a big mistake. Never skip or reduce your times of fellowship with the Lord for other things you might consider “important.” The wisdom, guidance, and strength you need for success come from the Lord. Always remember that.
When you have so much to do, that’s when you need to pray. In fact, you’ll need to pray more at such times because you require spiritual help to achieve results in a shorter time and in the best way. Instead of feeling too busy to pray, a wise person will say, “I have so much work to do that I’ll need to give more time to prayer.” You receive a boost in your energy and inspiration, which will give you speed.
Jesus said men ought always to pray and not to give up (Luke 18:1), letting us know that we were made to pray. It’s something God built within the human system. In other words, there’ll always be the need for that spiritual fellowship with God.
Through such fellowship, we can be built, encouraged, and directed—we also obtain the Lord’s mercy, grace, and intervention in our circumstances. Not only should you desire to pray, you should pray always. We don’t pray just because we require a miracle; we pray because we’re in a loving relationship with a real, loving heavenly Father.

KEEP EVIL IN RESTRAINTS (The Church Of Jesus Christ: A Major Restrainer Of Evil)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Thessalonians 2:7 ESV “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
There’re three restrainers of evil the Bible talks about; one is the government. Romans 13:1-4 tells us that the powers that exist are ordained of God and that they’re established to restrain evil.
The second restrainer of evil is the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “And when He (the Holy Spirit) has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8).
The third restrainer of evil is the Church. Jesus said we’re the light of the world (Matthew 5:14), and when light shines, darkness recedes. Among these three restrainers of evil, the Church is the one who restrains evil by the power of the Holy Spirit. The scripture states that the restrainer will be “taken out of the way.” That certainly wouldn’t be referring to government because there’ll be governments during the reign of the Antichrist. In fact, when the Antichrist comes, he’ll establish a government.
Also, the Holy Spirit won’t be removed from the earth after the Antichrist is revealed because He’s going to cause 144,000 Jewish men to carry out ministry on earth after the Rapture. The Bible tells us a large multitude of people gave their hearts to the Lord during the Great Tribulation, and the only way those people could have been saved is through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
So, out of the three restrainers of evil, only the Church will be taken away before the Antichrist is manifested. The Church is expected by God to restrain evil today. We’re the light of the world and the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13-14). When we decree a thing, it’s established for us. Satan can’t lord it over the nations; he can’t perpetuate his wickedness in the nations of the world and in the lives of men as he desires to because we’re putting him in check. We’ll continue to restrain him and reign gloriously on earth by Jesus Christ.

PRIDE COULD COST YOU (Keep Walking In Humility)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 29:23 “A man’s pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
One morning, Tom arrived at class considerably late. Unfortunately, his preferred seat had already been occupied by another student. Due to a disagreement with Henry, another classmate, the previous night, Tom was unwilling to share a seat with him.
Addressing the situation, Jerry, Tom’s class teacher, questioned, “Tom, what do you mean by ‘I won’t sit around Henry’?” Tom calmly responded, “I would prefer to stand here at the back of the class, sir.”
Jerry, maintaining authority, stated, “Mister Proud Tom, regardless of what transpired between you and Henry, please take a seat or you can forget about this course grade.” Tom acquiesced and found a seat as instructed.
Tom had some pride, and it almost cost him dearly. This is why we have the Lord Jesus as our perfect example in everything: He was humility personified. You couldn’t follow or emulate Him and miss your way. He said, “…I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12) You couldn’t follow His steps and walk in pride; it’s impossible! There’re those who say they’re afraid pride might take a hold of them. No, not when you truly know and follow Jesus. The way to follow Him is through the Word. Be a doer of the Word. Be submissive to the Lord and His Word; that’s true humility.
In Philippians 2:3, the Spirit adjures, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.” In essence, He’s saying, “Be humble!” Never disdain your brothers and sisters in Christ, especially your leaders in the Lord; be submissive.
Pride is of the devil. It led to his self-exultation, and for his haughtiness, God kicked him out of his place of honour. Make the conscious decision to walk in humility. It’s part of the manifestation of the life of Christ in you. It brings promotion. The Bible says God resists the proud and gives more grace to the humble. That grace results in honour, increase, enlargement, and progress. Hallelujah!

WHY SPRINKLE WATER? (Your Heart Has Been Sprinkled Clean Already)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Hebrews 10:22 ESV “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Looking at our opening verse, it would seem like we’re supposed to draw near to God, have our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and then have our bodies washed with pure water. But hold on, who’s supposed to do this sprinkling? Some other folks out there are splashing or sprinkling some water on people, claiming it’s the blood of Jesus. But that’s completely wrong!
Nobody can sprinkle the blood of Jesus today. So, don’t even try doing so. The Bible doesn’t say, “having our bodies sprinkled”; rather, it says our hearts. That means it’s the sprinkling of the heart, and what our opening verse is saying is that your heart has already been sprinkled from an evil conscience. It’s not an ongoing process; it’s been done by the Holy Spirit already!
Some other translations, like the Rotherham’s, put it more clearly. It says, “Let us approach with a genuine heart, in full assurance of faith, having been sprinkled, as to our hearts, from an evil conscience, and bathed, as to our bodies, with pure water.” Hallelujah! If you don’t understand this, you’ll be trying to do what God has already done, and it won’t work.
When it says, “…Our bodies washed with pure water,” it’s close to what we have in 1 Corinthians 6:11 ESV: “And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” Hallelujah! When you were born again, you were baptised into Christ (that is, the baptism of the Holy Spirit); the Holy Spirit came upon you to live in you.
His purpose in coming upon you was to make your body His temple, the tabernacle where He now dwells. But first, He must wash that temple; He must purify and sanctify it. That’s His work, and at the New Birth, He sanctified your body and made it His home. He has made your heart His home! Glory to God!

▶️ LET’S TALK
Sean’s mother took him, weak and deathly ill, to a church meeting. As the pastor concluded the service after ministering to several people, she cried out to get his attention. Crying profusely, she placed Sean, who lay helplessly on the platform. Despite the ushers’ attempts to calm her, she was determined to get the pastor’s attention. When the Pastor turned in her direction, he sternly asked, “What’s the matter?” She explained, “My son is dying,” but the Pastor needed to correct her confession. Firmly, he told her, “You’re saying the wrong things. If you say he’s dying, that’s what you’re going to get!”
He then asked, “What exactly do you want? Do you want him to live or die?” Despite the tough approach, she replied, “I want him to live.” The Pastor instructed her to put her hand on him, call his name, and declare that he would live and not die. As she obeyed and spoke those words, something miraculous happened. Within a few seconds, Sean, who had been weak and sickly, unable to stand, jumped up excitedly; his body had received strength, and they experienced a miracle. Hallelujah!
However, Sean could have succumbed to death if someone hadn’t taught his mother what to do and say. She had to speak the right words because death and life are in the power of the tongue. When sickness attacks your body, it’s death attacking; you must respond by declaring, “No; in the Name of Jesus, I refuse to be sick!”
Speak life to your body, for the Gospel we have received is a gospel of life; life has come to us. If, for example, a Christian is diagnosed with a heart condition, by words, that heart can be mended, or he or she can even have a new heart. Words are crucial in the Kingdom of God. With your words, you can consistently chart your course to victory. Hallelujah!

GOD’S WORD NEVER FAILS (The Word Of God Abides Forever)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 1:1 NASB “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
God’s Word lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23). Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword….” The thirteenth verse says, “…There is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
These attributes of God’s Word are the attributes of Deity. So, when you stake your life on the Word, you’re staking your life on God. And He never fails. The Scriptures describe the infallibility and immutability of God’s Word: “…God, desiring even more to demonstrate to the heirs of the promise the fact that His purpose is unchangeable, confirmed it with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us” (Hebrews 6:17-18 NASB).
Can you see why you should always keep your mind on the Word of God? The Bible says He keeps in perfect peace—peace of prosperity—the one whose mind is stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3). You stay your mind on Him through meditation. Give the Word time and attention. Place a premium on the Word. Consciously affirm the Word, irrespective of the challenges you face, and the Spirit will alter things in your favour. Glory to God!

TOO MUCH AT STAKE! (Don’t Hold Back: Get Wild With The Gospel)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Jeremiah 20:9 AMPC “If I say, I will not make mention of [the Lord] or speak any more in His name, in my mind and heart it is as if there were a burning fire shut up in my bones. And I am weary of enduring and holding it in; I cannot [contain it any longer].”
▶️ LET’S TALK
For the Gospel to have gotten to us in our day, some people had to pay the ultimate price. Some ministers and saints of God sacrificed their lives for this message to get to us. There was a time in the not-too distant past when the possession of a Bible either put one in prison or got one killed. Those who printed Bibles did so in hiding.
Today, we have Bibles everywhere. On your phone, you could even have many translations. But this didn’t happen by chance; it’s the result of the faith, prayers, and labour of many before us. That’s why it’s important for us in our day to wake up. We should be inspired by the examples of those who fought to take the message to places where the Gospel wasn’t known.
If you’re a prefect in your school, for example, who interacts with your fellow students and teachers, this should inspire you to preach to them. It makes no difference whether or not they’re happy to hear your message. Once you address them, use that opportunity for influence to preach the Gospel to them. Don’t let it bother you that some of them may want to leave your presence because you preached to them. Remember, God gave you the position of authority in the first place. Boldly preach to them, not with the aim of forcing them, but to provide them a chance to hear and believe in Jesus Christ for salvation.
Think of what others went through fighting for the opportunities you now have all around you. The time is short, and the return of the Master is at hand. Ensure you take advantage of every opportunity the Lord has given you to witness to others. Don’t hold back; get wild with the Gospel.

CHECK YOUR HEART (Examine The State Of Your Heart)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
1 Samuel 16:7 AMPC “…The Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Scripture tells us that God looks at the heart; He discerns the thoughts and intents of your heart. He wants you to always carry out a heart-appraisal and rid it of anything that’s inconsistent with the divine nature in you. Always, He wants to see love and humility in your heart. He doesn’t want you to look at or treat anyone with disdain. He wants you to be humble enough to believe in others; believe that the Lord can use them as much as He can use you. Perhaps in your family, school, or church, someone does something remarkable that’s being commended; don’t sneer in disdain. Genuinely celebrate others for their accomplishments.
Learn to sincerely bless the Lord, praise, and worship Him when He does something remarkable in another person’s life. When it seems others are esteemed above you, it shouldn’t hurt you; be full of joy for them. Another person’s success doesn’t mean that you’re failing. Therefore, celebrate the success of others. When God sees such love and humility in your heart, He’ll promote you. He exalts the humble.
No matter what God does through us, He never wants us to be proud. Be proud of Him and what He’s made of you. Be proud of His glory in your life, but never exalt yourself above someone else. Romans 12:3 RSV says, “For by the grace given to me I bid every one among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith which God has assigned him.”
The tenth verse says, “Love one another with brotherly affection; outdo one another in showing honor” (RSV). The Bible says, “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life” (Proverbs 22:4). Hallelujah! Be that man or woman who’s known for being loving, gracious, excellent, and humble.

LIFE IN THESE LAST DAYS (Making Unpopular Choices For Christ)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Timothy 3:1-2 TLB “You may as well know this too, Timothy, that in the last days it is going to be very difficult to be a Christian. For people will love only themselves and their money; they will be proud and boastful, sneering at God, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful to them, and thoroughly bad.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Our opening scripture says: “…In the last days it is going to be very difficult to be a Christian.” Why is it going to be difficult for some in these last days? It’s because of the choices they have to make—unpopular choices. I’m talking about such choices as standing for truth and righteousness, refusing to compromise your faith, sticking to the Word—doing what the Word says—rather than what’s convenient.
There’re those who are going to compromise and make decisions because of money and earthly favours. As a result, they’ll do the wrong things, things that aren’t consistent with the Christian walk. That shouldn’t be you. Don’t make a decision in life because of popular opinion; never follow the crowd.
Remember what Jesus said: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). This is very instructive.
Let the knowledge of God’s Word—the wisdom of God—guide the choices and decisions that you make. It makes no difference that you’re the only one taking a stand for Jesus Christ and for the Gospel in your estate, neighbourhood, or school; keep at it. Refuse to compromise. Rather, remain “… steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58 RSV).

GOD’S PLAN: WORTH FOLLOWING (Refuse All Forms Of Disobedience To Divine Instructions)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 16:25 ESV “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
The story of Saul in 1 Samuel 15 serves as a powerful lesson about the consequences of disobedience to God’s specific instructions. God had given Saul a clear directive to completely destroy the Amalekites, sparing nothing, including people, animals, and possessions. However, Saul and the people selectively destroyed things and kept some spoils for themselves, going against God’s explicit command.
Displeased with Saul, God said, “I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandment…” (1 Samuel 15:11 ESV). Wow, that’s regrettable for Saul! Though he was the king, and the people were supposed to follow him while he was expected to follow the Lord, he disobeyed God’s direct instructions repeatedly.
It’s bad enough that he didn’t follow the clear instructions God gave him; he also refused to take responsibility for his actions, blaming the people instead. This is what he said when Samuel the prophet confronted him about his error: “...The people spared the best of the sheep and oxen to sacrifice to the Lord your God; but the rest we have completely destroyed” (1 Samuel 15:15 NASB). Don’t live like Saul because he missed out on God’s plan following his willful disobedience. Subsequently, the Bible says, “…The Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him” (1 Samuel 16:14).
Some people pursue ambitions that have no connection with the purpose of God for their lives. They’re not yielding to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Always follow God’s instructions; follow His Word, His plans, and His guidance. Follow what the Spirit tells you to do. He unveils mysteries and divine secrets to you; He helps you discover yourself in God’s dream.
Whatever idea or plan you have, be sure it’s consistent with His Word—His perfect will. Give yourself completely to the lordship and guidance of His Word. His Word is light, and if you follow Him in the Word, you’ll not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life! You’ll be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

YOU’VE GOT PERFECT HEALTH (The Holy Spirit Has Made You Perfectly Healthy)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
1 Corinthians 6:19 “...Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”
▶️ LET’S TALK
“Lord Jesus, thank you for making my body your living temple and home,” Juliana said as she spoke to the Lord. “Your presence in me guarantees me perfect health and strength all the days of my life. Amen.”
Juliana believed in perfect health because of the presence of the Holy Spirit in her, and so should you. When you truly believe that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, then that would be the end of sickness or disease in your physical body. You have to consciously meditate on the fact that the Holy Spirit, vitally and literally, lives in you. He perambulates your body to keep it healthy.
Your health was perfected when Christ took up His abode in you. In Psalm 138:8, the Psalmist prophesied, “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me….” This has become a reality in Christ Jesus. Your health has been perfected in Him. Hallelujah! Part of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in you and His impact on your physical body is to see to it that your body stays perfect in health.
It’s the reason He guides you to nurture your spirit, soul, and body with the Word. It’s the reason He guides you with wisdom on healthy living. So, take charge of your health and rule over your body with the Word of God. Refuse to yield to sickness. Divine health is your birthright and nature in Christ. GOD’S BLESSINGS ARE YOURS NOW! (The Blessings Of Being God’s Righteousness)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
What we just read in our opening scripture contains very inspiring, uplifting, and amazing blessings for Israel. These promises are expected to fully come to pass for Israel during the millennial reign of Christ. But we, thankfully, as the Church of Jesus Christ, don’t have to wait that long to experience and enjoy these blessings! These promises are real for us now in Christ Jesus: We’re fearless; we walk in dominion because the Lord is our God; He’s our strength; we’re marvellously helped by Him. How cool is that?
Today, we’re upheld by the right hand of His righteousness—the right hand of His righteousness refers to Christ, and He is our righteousness (1 Corinthians 1:30). Hallelujah! In Isaiah 54:17 MSG, God says, “...No weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged. Any accuser who takes you to court will be dismissed as a liar. This is what God’s servants can expect. I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best….” This is part of the awesome perks of being His righteousness and walking in righteousness.
But wait, there’s more! In Isaiah 45:24 KJV, the Bible says, “Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.” Imagine that! It says all your adversaries will be ashamed. Anyone who’s enraged with you shall be embarrassed and disgraced. This is God’s Word to you! And get this: in Isaiah 41:12, God talks about your enemies, saying, “You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all” (ESV). This is your inheritance because you walk in His righteousness!
Then, in Isaiah 51:7, He tells us never to be worried by the insults, reproach, and disapproval of others. The Word already declared the end of their actions: they’d be brought to shame! Yours is to keep walking in righteousness, bearing fruits of righteousness. The Bible says, “In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you” (Isaiah 54:14). Glory to God! This is your life. Walk in the light of it.

THE POTENTIAL ENERGY OF FAITH (Hope: The Picture Of Your Expected Future)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Hebrews 11:1 AMPC “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Hope is usually in the future, something you look forward to or desire in front of you. It’s a picture or an image of a desired future, a picture of a future accomplishment, possession, or fulfilment. Faith, however, is the essence of hope. In other words, until you hope, that image or picture has no life. That’s why hope is so important.
Hope is powerful. When people become hopeless, they could give up and die. But once you have hope, then the thing you’re hoping for suddenly becomes a possibility; you see that it exists. Hope is like “potential energy,” which means it’s a possibility that could be realised if you could “look” at it with your spirit because that’s when it becomes real.
This is why hope must translate into faith for it to produce results. With hope, you see the blessings that could result from acting on God’s Word. But with faith, you take possession, and you walk in the blessing. Hallelujah!

FOR YOU, IT’S POSSIBLE(You Have A Divine Life Filled With Unlimited Possibilities)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”’
▶️ LET’S TALK
Emma always dreamed of becoming the first female astronaut from her entirely rural region. Inspired by Mark 9:23, armed with homemade telescopes and knowledge about space travel from the Internet, and fueled by a passion for space exploration, she aspired to defy the odds and represent her community among the stars. Despite scepticism and ridicule, she remained unwavering in her faith confessions and determination to turn her dream into reality and break preexisting limits. Eventually, she was handpicked by a visiting NASA scout for a space excursion to the moon with others in her age bracket!
In God’s kingdom, in the realm of the supernatural, there are infinite possibilities. That’s the realm in which we live; that’s the realm into which we were born. There’s no limit to your success. Hallelujah! Jesus said in our opening scripture, “All things are possible to him who believes.”
The Bible says in Romans 10:10, “For with the heart (your spirit) one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”; your spirit has the capacity for infinite possibilities. When your spirit takes a hold of God’s Word, there’s no telling what you can do; there’s no telling what you could be; there’s no telling what you could have!
If you’d only believe, there’ll be a complete metamorphosis in your life. It doesn’t matter what limits have been placed on you, whether from your family, your friends, or your school— it makes no difference—you’re open to infinite possibilities. If you can only believe! Dare to believe God. Dare to believe and act on His Word, and your path in life will be one of endless progress, victories and prosperity. Every so often, declare, “I go above and beyond the limits in the Name of Jesus. All things are possible for me. I have ability in all things. Amen.”

SAMPLES AND PATTERNS (Follow Faith Specimens Given In God’s Word)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Romans 15:4 ESV “For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
When we study the Bible, it’s important to pay attention to principles, samples, and patterns. As you read about the lives of the fathers, prophets, and apostles, you’ll see samples of faith and how they framed the course of their lives with the Word. 1 Corinthians 10:11 KJV says, “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”
The use of the word “ensamples” in the King James Version isn’t exactly the same thing as “example”; it actually means “samples.” A sample is a specimen, an original that’s shown to you, like you say, “This is what it’s supposed to be.” It’s like a pattern or print given to you. Hebrews 11 gives us a pattern. The Bible says, “…Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony” (Hebrews 11:1-2). When you read further, you’ll be inspired by the incredible feats of these great men and women of faith—what their faith accomplished for the kingdom of God (Hebrews 11:32-33).
These champions of faith subdued kingdoms and obtained victories in their time; they ruled their world! That’s not all! Hebrews 11:3 says, “By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.” In other words, the various eras were framed by the Word of God (the “Rhema” of God). The use of the Greek “Rhema” here indicates that the Word of God referred to was spoken through the lips of men. Hallelujah! It shows what you can do today: you can frame things in your life and in your world to align with God’s perfect will by speaking forth God’s Word.

MAKE YOUR WAY PROSPEROUS (Your Prosperity And Success Are Dependent On You)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Today’s opening verse of scripture has a very clear message: Your prosperity and how well you succeed in life depend on you! It says if you meditate on the Word day and night, you’ll make your own way prosperous and have good success. You may have found yourself in certain circumstances you had nothing to do with. For example, you may have been born into a poor home; that wasn’t your fault. But it’s up to you to do something about it. You may have been born poor, but you weren’t born to be poor.
The Word of God shows you the principles of prosperity, but it’s up to you to apply them and change your estate. As much as He wants you prosperous, as much as He wants you healthy, happy, and strong, you have a vital role in making His dream for you come to reality. He said in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 2 Peter 1:3 says, “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” He’s already done everything and given you everything you require for an extraordinary life of success and extraordinary prosperity.
Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” What then? Act on the Word! If there’s a situation in your life you want changed, the Word is your answer. Trust the Word. Meditate on it day and night, as He has said. That isn’t something God or anyone else can do for you. 1 Timothy 4:15 tells you the inevitable result: your progress and prosperity will “appear to all”—“phaneros” (Greek); that means apparent, undeniable, and unending; it’ll spread abroad. Hallelujah!

JOIN THE WORK (Be Inspired By The Endtime Harvest)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Luke 10:2 TPT “…The harvest is huge. But there are not enough harvesters to bring it in. As you go, plead with the Owner of the Harvest to send out many more workers into his harvest fields.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
God gave us the most incredible and sublime job ever—preaching the Gospel to every creature. He could have used the angels to minister or preach the Gospel for the salvation of men, but He didn’t. He chose us for it instead. Exciting, right? You’ve been entrusted with the most important news and message in all the world for every generation: the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which He said shall be “…preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). Hallelujah! The Lord also said, “…Look around you! Vast fields of human souls are ripening all around us, and are ready now for reaping” (John 4:35 TLB). There’s already been such a great harvest of souls into the Kingdom in these last days.
The Lord is doing a quick work, and it’s happening fast! Guess what? We’re seeing an even bigger move of the Holy Spirit, leading to a massive harvest of souls in places like China, the Middle East, and other regions that many had thought would be difficult to penetrate. These vast fields of souls are ready, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ is reaching them big time.

HE’S SAVIOUR OF ALL MANKIND (His Death Brought Salvation For All People)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Luke 2:11 NIV “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world. This is one of the tenets of our faith upon which all of the Gospel rests. That’s why the verse above is very important. In Matthew 1:21, the Bible says, “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Jesus Christ is the only One who could save mankind completely and make the divine life available and possible for all men to receive. He saved the world by giving Himself as a sacrifice. He paid the full penalty for the sins of all men and took our place of condemnation. The Bible says, “…God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them…” (2 Corinthians 5:19 NIV).
2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich.” His vicarious death was for our sake. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For He made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
When Jesus was put on the cross, He was taking our place on the Cross. God had said, “The soul who sins shall die (spiritual death)…” (Ezekiel 18:20). Romans 5:12 says, “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way, death came to all men, because all sinned.” Spiritual death is separation from God. Jesus took our place and experienced that separation from the Father when He hung on the Cross.
But thanks be to God! Man’s salvation was consummated when Jesus Christ—the Lamb of God—was offered to take away the sins of the world (John 1:29). 1 John 4:14 says, “And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.” Hallelujah!

THE INNER SANCTUARY (You Are God’s Holy And Living Temple)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 20:27 “The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
In the Old Testament, God gave Israel the tabernacle, which He divided into three parts. The first was the inner sanctuary, where the Ark of God was. It was also called the Holy of Holies or the Most Holy Place. The second part was the outer sanctuary, which was called the Holy Place. The third part of the tabernacle was the outer court, where the brazen altar and laver were.
This tabernacle of Moses gives us the picture of the human person: the spirit, soul, and body. Man’s body is the outer court, the soul is the first sanctuary, and the spirit is the inner sanctuary. The Holy Spirit resides in the inner sanctuary, which is the recreated human spirit. When a man is born again, his spirit is recreated; eternal life is imparted to his spirit, and right away, the Ark of God is set up there. What was in the Ark in the Old Testament? It was the Word of God written on two tablets of stone (1 Kings 8:9, 2 Chronicles 5:10).
Where is the Word of God today? It’s in our hearts, our spirits. The Lord said, “…This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts...” (Hebrews 8:10). No wonder Paul said we’re the words of Christ written by the Spirit, not on tables of stone but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Corinthians 3:3).
This shows us the importance of the human spirit. That’s where the Word of God is today. That’s where God lives. Being born again is the recreation of the inward man—the human spirit—to become God’s dwelling place, His holy tabernacle. The premium, therefore, must be on the education of your spirit, which is only achievable by receiving and meditating on the Word of God.

SIGNS OF YOUR DIVINITY (You Have Dominion Over Disease And Sickness)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Mark 16:17-18 ESV “And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Our opening scripture outlines some of the signs of our divinity. One of them is our dominion and power over sickness, disease, and infirmities. Not only do we have the power to cast out devils, we also have the power to heal sicknesses and cure diseases. Jesus made us healers. He said in Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Notice He didn’t say, “Pray to Me to heal the sick.”
He said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” He made us superior to Satan, who is majorly responsible for most of the illnesses that people suffer from. Why, then, are there Christians who are still buffeted by sickness, disease, and Satan in spite of these realities?
Psalm 82:5-7 gives us the answer. It says, ‘They do not know, nor do they understand; they walk about in darkness… I said, “You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.”’ Many are ignorant of God’s Word, and as a result, they’re not aware that they have power over sickness and disease; they’re not conscious that they have divine life.
Jesus said in John 10:34, “…Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”?’ Apostle Peter calls us “Partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4), while Apostle Paul says, “We’re more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37). Sickness, really, can’t and shouldn’t thrive in your body because Christ is the life of your physical body. The Holy Spirit in you already gave life to and vitalised your physical body (Romans 8:11). Believe and act on these truths today. Hallelujah!

ENJOY THE INHERITANCE (Qualified To Partake In His Wealth)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Colossians 1:12 AMPC “Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
How gracious and loving the Lord is! Think about what we just read in our opening verse: it’s not a promise but something He’s already done. He qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Ephesians 1:11 says that in Him we have obtained an inheritance. Part of that inheritance is described for us in Ephesians 3:8 (AMPC) as unsearchable riches: “…to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out].”
The whole world belongs to Jesus Christ; He bought the whole field. The Bible says the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Romans 8:17 says we’re joint-heirs with Him. Thus, part of your inheritance is the whole world. This is the absolute truth from God’s Word. 1 Corinthians 3:21-22 says, “…For all things are yours; whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world…all are yours.” Then, think about the fact that God brought you into fellowship with Himself and made you one with Himself; it explains it all. He gave you Himself! What could be greater than that? Now you’re a partaker of His glory, grace, and righteousness, a partaker of His divine nature. This is huge!
It’s the reason you must be bold in your life and live without fear or sense of lack or want because you’re the heir of the Monarch of the universe. This life of extraordinary blessings that He’s given you isn’t the result of your “good works” or personal deeds of righteousness; it’s His grace at work. He qualified you to inherit and walk in the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel. Study the Word to know more about your inheritance and wonderful blessings in Christ, and live in those blessings every day

GUIDANCE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT (Dreams Are For Old Testament Folks)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Acts 20:32 “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
“I’m afraid I’m going to have an accident...” Simone began to express herself on the phone to Samantha.
“Hey Simone, don’t speak like that! Why would you say such a thing?” she responded.
“I had a dream where an angel of God told me so,” Simone explained.
“No, forget that dream. God guides us by His Word and Spirit,” she asserted.
In the New Testament, God doesn’t lead us through dreams; He guides us through the Word and Holy Spirit. You might be quick to ask, “How about Acts 2:17? Doesn’t it indicate that God still leads through dreams?” No, He doesn’t. Dreams were for the sense-knowledge generation in the Old Testament.
Since the Holy Spirit came, you don’t find the apostles or anyone in the New Testament being ministered to in a dream. The Holy Spirit, nonetheless, does lead through visions and other revelations such as prophecy, the inward witness, and other gifts of the Spirit. However, any vision, prophecy, or revelation that doesn’t align with the Word is not from God.
A certain sick man, a long-time Christian, had a vision where someone appeared in sandals and a white robe, covered with a cloud and said to him, “It’s not my will to heal you,” and then disappeared. He immediately believed it was Jesus because he said he “felt” the presence of God. From then on, he believed it wasn’t God’s will to heal him. What made him think it was Jesus who appeared to him? Was it because the person was in a white robe? Was it because the person was covered in a cloud?
Those aren’t enough reasons to assume it was Jesus. If, in a vision, you heard a voice that told you something that’s inconsistent with the Scriptures, then it’s questionable. The question to ask is, does God want people well? Emphatically yes! Read 3 John 1:2. He’ll never come to you in a dream or vision to tell you anything contrary. He never contradicts Himself. Every revelation must be subjected to the Word of God! This is the reason you must study the Word and know it for yourself.

JESUS: GOD’S PERFECT IMPRINT (When You Look At Jesus, You See Our Great God)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Titus 2:13 NIV “...We wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
“Why do you say Jesus is God? I thought He’s the son of God. How do you explain that?” Bill inquired from Pamela.
She replied, “Well, Bill, if you read what Jesus said about Himself in the scriptures, you’ll come to no other conclusion than that He is God in human flesh. Take your time to read John 10:30 and John 14:8-9, and you’ll catch it!”
Indeed, God’s Word is replete with incontrovertible proof that Jesus is Himself God. He’s our great God! Sadly, there’re Christians who haven’t come to this realization. That’s why they still wonder how He says He’s the Son of God, if actually He is Himself God. Well, the expression “Son of God” means God in human flesh!
Jesus put aside His glory so He could be hundred per cent man and hundred per cent God. That’s what legitimised His substitutionary work in our behalf; otherwise, it would have been questionable. The Bible says He “…made Himself of no reputation…coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:7-8).
Jesus is God’s perfect imprint, the icon of the unseen God (Colossians 1:15, Hebrews 1:3). Hallelujah! But who was He before He came as a man? He was the Word, God’s Word: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). Then the fourteenth verse says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us….” The Word that was God became flesh, and He was named Jesus. Hallelujah!
In John 10:30, He said, “I and my Father are one.” When He made that assertion, the Bible says the Jews picked up stones to stone Him to death because they understood what He meant. They said, “…For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God” (John 10:33). He wasn’t making Himself God; He was, and He is God! Hallelujah!

CATCH REVELATION BY THE SPIRIT (God’s Sprit Grants You Revelatory Understanding)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Ephesians 1:17 AMPC “[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
In Matthew 16:13-20, Jesus threw some heavy questions at His disciples about His identity. First, He asked, “Who do people say I am?” After hearing their responses, He hit them with a second but more personal one: “But who do you say I am?” (Matthew 16:15). Peter stepped up and declared, “...You’re the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16). Peter’s confession of Jesus as the Christ was a revelation from God, but Peter didn’t know it; He thought it was his reasoning.
Jesus had to tell him, “...Blessed are you, Simon BarJonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 16:17). Hallelujah! Just like Peter, many of God’s people have received revelations from God. Think about it: How did you know Jesus is the Christ? It’s the Holy Spirit that revealed it to your spirit. The Bible says, “…No one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:3).
Think about it: you believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ; you read about it in the Scriptures and believed it. That was the Holy Spirit granting you insight into that mystery. Likewise, the resurrection of Jesus Christ—you weren’t there when it happened, but you believe.
It’s part of the ministry of the Spirit in us—the unveiling of truth. So, trust Him with your life. Make knowing Him more and living His Word your greatest passion. Through that fellowship, He’ll keep unveiling Himself and the greater mysteries of the Kingdom to you.
