CHRIST IS THE SOURCE OF IT ALL (True Fulfilment Is In Christ)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Acts 17:28 NIV “For in him we live and move and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
“Did you hear what that billionaire said before he passed?” Leroy asked Queen, his voice low but curious.
Queen looked up from her phone. “Who? Mr. Kingston? The tech guy?”
“Yeah,” Leroy nodded. “After building that empire and owning everything money could buy, his last words were... ‘I found out that true fulfillment is in Christ.’”
Queen blinked. “Seriously? After all that?”
Leroy shrugged. “Guess it shows there’s more to life than just success and money.”
Do you ever look around and think, “Wow, man has come up with remarkable innovations!” Like, we’ve built rockets that touch space, phones that can do pretty much everything, and art that makes you feel all kinds of emotions.
Man was made in the image of God, and that’s why even the natural man possesses incredible capacity and potential. But even with all that, something’s missing. Think about it: people have made life easier with all these inventions, hoping it would make them happier. Yet, why do so many still feel empty inside? Why do we hear about celebrities and super successful people who have it all but still feel lost?
For instance, think of a professor who has acquired immense knowledge yet struggles with the meaning of life. He has no peace or satisfaction despite his intellectual prowess and tragically decides to end his life. How sad! This example illustrates that no matter how much knowledge or success one attains, true fulfillment is in Christ and Christ alone.
Even today, a lot of people are still asking, “Why am I here?” They’ve got the fame, the cars, the followers, but deep down, they’re searching for something more. And it’s not just older people dealing with this. Right now, so many young people are asking the same questions: Why am I here? What’s the point? Some have lots of followers, viral videos, designer clothes, and all the attention they could ask for—but when they’re alone, they feel empty. Others think, “Maybe if I just disappear or start over, I’ll finally feel peace.”
Christ is the source of all joy, all peace, and all fulfillment. Outside of Him, everything is fleeting and meaningless. In Him, you find the meaning of life, the purpose for which you were created, and the true joy that transcends circumstances. In Christ, you find all of God’s goodness. Hallelujah!

LAY HOLD ON IT (Take As Much Grace As You Want)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Romans 5:17 KJV “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Kiera stood by the window in her room, her hands lifted slightly as she spoke with boldness and conviction.
“I have grace to do the unthinkable, the unimaginable, and the impossible. In my service to God, I excel by the grace He has given me.”
She wasn’t hoping. She wasn’t wishing. She was affirming what she knew to be true. She was taking a hold of something real—Grace.
That’s exactly what the Word teaches us to do. The Bible says “receive” abundance of grace. But it doesn’t mean passively waiting, like sitting back and waiting for something to happen. No, the word “receive” in Romans 5:17 comes from the Greek word “Lambano.” It means to take possession, to lay hold of something, and make it yours. To seize it intentionally, knowing it belongs to you.
Remember the counsel of Paul to young Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:1,, “…be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” In other words, take advantage of it. How much grace do you want? And for what purpose? God is saying to you right now, “Go ahead. Take as much as you desire.” There is no measure placed on grace. That’s why the scripture calls it abundance of grace, not the abundance of grace. There’s no definite article because it’s not fixed. It’s as much as you are willing to receive. But when it comes to righteousness, it’s called the gift of righteousness. Why? Because righteousness is the same for every Christian—a gift given once and for all. You don’t grow in righteousness. You receive it as a gift, and you live from that place.
But grace? You can keep increasing in it. You can take more. Receive grace for your studies, grace for leadership, grace for giving, grace to be excellent in your craft, grace to be a voice in your generation.
And as you walk in this abundance of grace, God shows you off to the world, to angels, and to principalities and powers in heavenly places. “To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 3:10). This is God’s desire for you, that through you, the manifold, limitless, multi-faceted wisdom of God would be displayed. Hallelujah!

THAT’S WHERE THE POWER IS (Speaking In Tongues Helps Forfend Danger)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
1 Corinthians 14:2 AMP “For one who speaks in an unknown tongue does not speak to people but to God; for no one understands him or catches his meaning, but by the Spirit he speaks mysteries [secret truths, hidden things].
▶️ LET’S TALK
A certain young girl was walking home one day when a gang of kidnappers grabbed her and dragged her into their van. She immediately started speaking in tongues. They yelled at her to stop and threatened to kill her, but she kept praying stronger and louder. To her utter amazement, not long afterwards, the ten armed men suddenly threw away their weapons and fled. They ran away from one unarmed young girl.
What did they see? What made them flee? Only God knows. But our opening verse says, “One who speaks in tongues does not speak to people, but to God” (1 Corinthians 14:2 AMP).
On another occasion, a truck driver was speeding down the road when, suddenly, his brakes failed, and his truck started hurtling dangerously towards a young guy. A fatal accident seemed inevitable, and the driver closed his eyes, expecting the worst to happen. When the vehicle ground to a halt, he opened his eyes, only to discover the young guy was still standing, unscathed.
Quickly, he alighted from his truck and said, “Young man, I thought I hit you.”
The young man said, “No, you didn’t; as you came close, the power of God picked me up in the air. When your truck sped past, the power of God brought me back down.”
Then the young man narrated how, before he came out that day, he had been speaking in tongues until his whole body was saturated with the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, when danger came, the power of God lifted him over and above the hazard.
The blessings and benefits of speaking in tongues are much more than you can imagine. The utterance may sound foolish or unintelligible to you or anyone listening to you, but that’s where the power is. Glory to God!

PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE NATIONS (Approaching Prayer Like This Makes Intercession Even More Impactful)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Timothy 2:1 NLT “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Do you know there’s a difference between praying for a nation and praying for its people? It might seem like the same thing at first, but there’s actually a huge difference, and it can change the way you pray.
When we say we’re praying for a nation, we’re often thinking about the big picture: governments, leaders, systems, and the future of the country as a whole. And that’s important! Nations need prayer. However, when we pray for the people in those nations, or even those who come from there but are living somewhere else, it gets personal.
For example, instead of just praying for “Ghana,” what if you said, “I’m praying for Ghanaians”? That small change personalises your prayer. Suddenly, you’re thinking about real people. Every man, woman, boy, and girl who identifies as Ghanaian, wherever they are in the world. You’re not just praying for a place, you’re praying for hearts, for lives, for their everyday hopes and dreams, the salvation of their souls.
That’s exactly what Paul was encouraging when he said we should pray for “all people.” It’s about letting your prayers be filled with love for individuals, not just countries. And when you pray like that, something shifts in you. Your prayers aren’t distant, they’re close, personal, and full of heart. So next time you pray, think about the people. Not just the country, not just the headlines, but the faces behind them. Approaching prayer in this manner endears you to people in a way that makes your intercession for them more impactful.

PRIORITIZE UNDERSTANDING GOD’S WORD (Understanding Helps You Implement Biblical Principles)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 8:5 “O you simple ones, understand prudence, And you fools, be of an understanding heart.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
The Lord Jesus Himself emphasised the significance of understanding in Matthew 13:3-8 when He told the parable of the sower. In His illustration, He explained that as the sower went forth to sow his seeds, they fell into different grounds. Some fell by the wayside, and the birds of the air came and picked them up, and they had no chance to grow. The Lord Jesus, however, highlighted the problem of this group of people to be their lack of understanding of the Word they heard: “When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside” (Matthew 13:19).
The practical application of God’s Word hinges on your understanding of it. You can’t put to work God’s Word that you don’t understand. Without understanding, it becomes challenging to implement biblical principles and teachings effectively in your daily life. It’s one of the reasons we encourage people to study this devotional, Rhapsody of Realities TeeVo, every day. It serves as a powerful tool for enhancing your understanding of God’s Word. In it, we present biblical truths in simple and clear communication, making it easier for readers to not only comprehend but also apply God’s truths in practical ways. By breaking down scriptural thoughts into understandable terms, Rhapsody of Realities TeeVo equips you to live out your faith confidently and purposefully each day. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth” (AMPC).
Prioritise understanding God’s Word so that you may confidently and faithfully apply it in your life, knowing that through understanding, you can fully embrace and act upon the truths of Scripture.

THE MISSION CONTINUES (The Vision Of Reaching Every Person With The Gospel Remains As Vital As Ever)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Psalm 68:11 “The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who proclaimed it.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
The Lord Jesus instructed us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). He sent us to find the lost, to seek them out in the byways and highways. This directive is clear in the Scriptures, and it drives the mission of Christians today. We carry on the vision that He gave us. This vision is about actively reaching out to those who need to hear the message of salvation, and this involves going beyond our comfort zones, reaching out to speakers of all languages, thus ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. With so many English Bible versions available today, it’s easy for many to erroneously believe that the Bible was originally given in the English language. However, it was the translators who performed this crucial work, and the Holy Spirit continues to guide them even today to make the Bible and other Christian materials accessible to many more in their native languages. Think about the fact that the sacred writings of the Scriptures were written in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. But it took dedicated individuals who loved the Lord and desired to spread His message to the entire world to make it available in various languages as we have today. This mission continues through the work of modern-day missionaries and evangelists who travel to distant lands, much like those early translators. They go into remote and often challenging environments to find those who have not yet heard the Gospel, and they bring it to them in the language they best understand. The work is far from over, and the vision of reaching every person with the Gospel remains as vital as ever. That’s why we’re grateful to the Lord to have those who are working with us in various nations to make it possible for this devotional to become accessible in all known languages and dialects of the world, and as a result, reaching the ends of the earth before the Lord’s return.

DON’T ENVY EVIL PEOPLE (Never Wish To Be Like People Who Aren’t Living For Christ)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 24:1 NLT “Don’t envy evil people or desire their company.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Caleb scrolled through social media, watching as his classmates posted about their weekend hangouts with influencers and celebrities. A part of him wished to be in their circle—to be recognised, admired.
Sometimes, you find Christians who envy godless individuals and wish to be in their company. Some get really excited to identify with some “big names.” If, for some reason, they get invited to be in the company of certain well-known people, they consider it a big deal. But that’s not how God sees it. He doesn’t want you to envy godless men and women. Remember what He said in Psalm 1:1, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.” You’re blessed for not hanging out with the wicked who despise the way of the Lord and the life of the Kingdom. Don’t envy or seek to please them. Even if they’re rich and influential, don’t be enticed by their wealth. I came across our opening verse when I was still very young, and it gave me good instruction about human relationships: what’s good for me and what’s not good for me. So, right from a very young age, I’ve never been inspired by people who weren’t living for Christ, irrespective of who they were or what they had. The next verse to our opening scripture shows why you shouldn’t envy them or enjoy being in their company: “For they spend their days plotting violence and cheating” (Proverbs 24:2 TLB). They have a nature of darkness, but you are a child of light; in fact, you’re light (Ephesians 5:8). That’s important because those who truly love Jesus Christ will be pleased with the things you do. But if those who don’t love Jesus are pleased with the things you do, then there’s a problem, and you should be concerned. In Galatians 1:10 CEV, Paul said, “I am not trying to please people. I want to please God. Do you think I am trying to please people? If I were doing that, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

GLORY IN SUBMISSION (The More You Yield To Him, The Greater His Glory In You)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 12:23 “But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Michael always thought God’s glory would feel like a mighty wind or dazzling light. But one day, while praying, he felt nothing—just peace.
When we tell people the Lord has glorified them, they expect to see, like, a ray of light glowing from their skin. But that’s not what the Bible teaches. The glory of God isn’t necessarily felt or perceived by the senses. It’s something you recognise with your spirit. Look at Jesus. The Bible tells us in John 12 of some Greeks who sought an audience with Him. When He was told that they had come to see Him, He knew this was a sign: It was time for the salvation of the Gentiles. This also signified that He was about to die. Jesus responded by saying, “...The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” (John 12:23-24). When the Lord Jesus said, “The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified,” the Bible didn’t record that any spectacular event transpired. The heavens didn’t open up, and there was no earthquake. In the next chapter, while Jesus was sitting with His disciples at Passover, Judas got up after supper and went away hurriedly. Jesus then said, “...Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him.” (John 13:31). The Bible didn’t say lights started beaming everywhere because He was glorified. No. The glory was in His submission. Here’s what the Master did: He submitted Himself totally to the will of the Father and declared, “Now is the Son of man glorified.” The submission of one’s life to the Spirit is where the glory is.
The less yielded you are, the less of God’s glory is manifested in your life. So, what would you rather do? Be yielded to Him! Do the Word, walking in the Spirit, and you’ll experience greater manifestations of His glory in your life. Hallelujah!

THE GOOD FIGHT (It’s Called The Good Fight of Faith Because You Always Win!)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
▶️ LET’S TALK
Faith is the victory, so always see with the eyes of faith. See the end from the beginning and stay focused on the Word, knowing that no matter what happens, your victory is guaranteed. It’s called the good fight of faith because you always win. Whether you know it or not, as a Christian, you’re in a fight. Some people don’t like to hear this; understand that the world is hostile to your faith; it’s hostile to the Kingdom of God. Jesus, however, said, “Cheer up; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). So, we’re not trying to overcome the world; we already did in Christ Jesus and keep it in that position with our faith. The Bible says our faith is the victory that triumphs over the world: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4). Now you can understand why He tells us to fight the good fight of faith. Here are three important things to note as you fight the good fight of faith: Refuse to consider sensory perceptions and focus on the Word. Secondly, keep renewing your mind with the Word, and let it be your motivation (Romans 12:2; James 1:25). Then, meditate on the Word to deepen its impact in your life (Joshua 1:8). Hallelujah!

LIVE A LIFE OF PRAISE (Testify Of God’s Goodness)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Psalm 105:1 NLT “Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.
▶️ LET’S TALK
Sarah was known for her constant testimonies. At every church service, she had a new story of God’s goodness. Curious, her friend Henry asked, “How come you always have something to testify about?”
Sarah smiled and said, “I choose to see God’s hand in everything. I thank Him for both the big and small things.”
There are people who always share testimonies. When they’re in church and the pastor asks if anyone has a testimony to share, they’re always the first to respond. How is it that some people are so blessed that they always have testimonies? The answer is in Isaiah 12:3-4, “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD….” Did you see that? Their hearts are usually full of praise. What’s praise? Praise is the fruit of our lips—giving thanks to the Lord. This is even clearer in the English Standard Version: “And you will say in that day: Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted” (Isaiah 12:4 ESV). Notice that it says “make known his deeds”; in other words, testify! Grateful people always testify; they always have something to say that God has done for them. They’re always bubbling with joy. What kind of a person are you? Be sure that you’re a testifier. Always share your testimonies of what the Lord has done in your life.
1 Peter 2:9 KJV tells us something beautiful; it says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” Notice the underlined part; you were called, that is, ordained to show forth His praise, to declare His mighty works. Hallelujah!
Therefore, always testify of His love, His grace, His faithfulness, and the loving kindness that you enjoy every day. Be grateful to Him that He causes you to triumph always and in every place through Christ Jesus. Remember, winners are always full of joy and thanksgiving.

Helen just smiled. “I’m not from around here.”
Being born again, you’re not of this world; you belong in God’s Kingdom. You must carry this consciousness every day, that you’re from above. In John 17:14, the Lord Jesus, referring to His disciples, said, “… they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.” So, you’re in this world, but not of this world.
The Lord Jesus beautifully exemplified this when he referred to Himself as the Son of Man who is in heaven, even while physically present on earth: “No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.” (John 3:13). He lived by the principles of the Kingdom of Heaven while dwelling here among men, and He was victorious on every count. This consciousness will impact everything about your life, including your health. This is important because oftentimes, there are those who wonder why certain “faithful” and committed Christians suffer terrible calamities. Some even get sick and die sick. Well, you have to understand that health isn’t a “reward” for serving God; the Bible doesn’t promise that. Instead, the reward of your faithful service is reserved for you in heaven. When we get there, the rewards for our service will be announced, and we’ll return to the new earth to enjoy them. However, here on earth, it’s your responsibility to apply Kingdom principles. Use the Word of God to live transcendently and keep your physical body in health. So, keep your focus on the Word; speak it forth always. Be a doer of the Word, and refuse to be moved by sensory perceptions.

SYNCHRONIZED WITH HIS WILL (The Best Place To Be In Life Is At The Centre Of God’s Will)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
“Dad, you know what?” Greg said as they walked out of church that evening.
His dad glanced over. “What’s on your mind?”
Greg smiled, his eyes lighting up. “I’m just so excited about how things are changing for the guys in my cell group. Seeing them grow, asking questions about God, and getting serious about their faith. I never thought I’d be leading something like this.”
His dad chuckled. “Especially after how you argued with Pastor Sean about not wanting the role.”
Greg laughed. “Yeah! I was so sure I wasn’t cut out for it. I just didn’t see it.”
His dad nodded. “But God did. He knew you were the right person for this, even when you didn’t.”
Greg took a deep breath and smiled again. “Now I get it. I’m right where He wants me, doing what He planned all along.”
Do you know you’re not here by accident? You’re a child of purpose, walking in divine destiny. Nothing about your life is random. God has carefully designed the sequence and events in your life. Your role is to recognize these divine orchestrations and walk accordingly.
Ephesians 2:10 (AMPC) says, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].” God already mapped out your journey.
The best place you can ever be is right at the centre of God’s will. When you understand that, you stop stressing about the future or worrying about what’s next. You cease from the concerns and uncertainties young people have because you know that you’re operating on God’s timetable, not man’s timetable.
Your life is designed to keep getting better, moving from glory to glory! That’s why it’s important to stay thankful. Even when things don’t make sense right away, God’s working everything out for your good.
Romans 8:28 (NIV) says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” That’s you! You’re called according to His purpose. Hallelujah

INTERCEDE FOR NEW CONVERTS (Your Intercession Creates The Avenue For God To Intervene In Their Lives)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 “Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
It’s so important for us to intercede for those who might not fully understand the things of God yet or who are still growing in their faith. It reminds me of Paul’s words in Galatians 4:19: “My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you.” Paul loved them so much that he constantly prayed for them to become rooted and grounded in Christ.
In another letter Paul wrote to the Christians in Colossae, he prayed this beautiful prayer: “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding” (Colossians 1:9). When we pray for other believers like that, we’re actually praying the will of the Father.
But, you know, sometimes people don’t experience God’s best for them because they don’t know any better. Hosea 4:6 says: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Other times, they might know the right thing but choose not to follow it. For new converts—people who are still growing in the faith, spiritual priorities may not yet be clear. They may not fully appreciate the importance of attending church services or studying the Bible regularly.
That’s why our prayers matter so much. When we pray for them, we create the avenue for God to intervene in their lives, opening their hearts and minds to His truth and wisdom. Christ takes root in their hearts, and they begin to line up with God’s perfect will.
As an intercessor, you’re persistent; you keep praying that they walk worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in their knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10).
So, don’t give up! Keep praying for your friends, people in your church, and Christians all over the world.

UNDERSTANDING RIGHTEOUSNESS (Three Key Elements Of Righteousness)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Romans 5:17 “For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
One of the most amazing things about the Lord is His rightness and perfection. God can’t be wrong; He is the definition of right. Think of Him as the yardstick for measuring what is right; the reference for rightness. He’s perfect and that’s His character.
Secondly, righteousness is the very nature of God that’s imparted to the recreated human Spirit. It’s a free gift from almighty God that produces in him the rightness of God, and the knowledge of what is right.
And there’s more. Righteousness isn’t just about knowing what’s right; it gives you right standing with God. Right standing is that ability to stand before the Lord guiltless and without condemnation. No ordinary man can stand in God’s presence and talk with Him without fear, inferiority or condemnation. But that’s what righteousness gives you.
You could be reading this and ask, but Pastor Chris, what if I feel condemned or inferior before God, perhaps because of something I did? Here’s what you do, if you ever feel overwhelmed by such feelings: get into study and meditation on the Word of God. The Word will rid you of those negative emotions of the senses. The Bible declares the word is a cleanser (John 15:3) and it builds your faith and confidence (Acts 20:32).
Always remember that the Word is greater than your emotions. It imparts to you the truth about who you are. That knowledge destroys every sense of guilt, condemnation or inferiority, and inspires in you the confidence of the Spirit. Hallelujah!

SHIELDED AND PROTECTED! (The Lord Protects His Own)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Psalm 37:32-34 NIV “The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, intent on putting them to death; but the Lord will not leave them in the power of the wicked or let them be condemned when brought to trial. Hope in the Lord and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
In Esther 3, we read about two very different men: Mordecai, a Jew who loved God, and Haman, one of the king’s top officials. Haman had a lot of power and was full of pride. The Bible even calls him “the enemy of the Jews.” He was an Agagite, and he absolutely hated Mordecai and the Jewish people.
Haman was so determined to destroy them that he assured the king he would personally finance the operation of annihilating the Jews. He deceived the king into thinking the Jews were dangerous and convinced him to approve a terrible plan. However, by God’s divine providence, Haman’s evil scheme backfired. He ended up being executed on the very gallows he had built for Mordecai!
This story reminds us of what the Bible says in Isaiah 54:17:
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.
It’s a powerful reminder that the “Hamans” of this world—and those like them—will ultimately face God’s righteous judgement. In fact, Psalm 125:3 (CEV) says, “He won’t let the wicked rule his people...” That means God protects His people.
It’s also one of the reasons we pray for fellow Christians, ministers of the Gospel, and Christian leaders around the world—that they may be protected and shielded from wicked and unreasonable men as they carry out their works of righteousness. There are Christians today who are courageously spreading the message of Jesus in places that are still hostile to the gospel. Always pray that such Christians be strengthened and remain resilient, guided by the Holy Spirit away from harm, and continue to be effective instruments of His love and truth. Hallelujah!

STAY THE COURSE (Chickening Out Is Not An Option)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Hebrews 10:39 “But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Jayden sighed, staring at his unfinished homework. “What’s the point?” he muttered. School felt overwhelming, basketball tryouts were tough, and even his friendships seemed shaky. He was ready to quit everything.
In today’s world, young people tend to abandon their commitments easily. They get tired of anything and just check out. This isn’t the faith lifestyle we’ve been called to live; it indicates a problem. Faith requires stability, doggedness, staying power, and even patience. Faith never gives up. What such folks may not realise is that they’re giving Satan the opportunity to hinder them from fulfilling the will and purpose of God for their lives. He disrupts their jobs, tries to ruin their business or destabilise their relationships, and they just give up. No; don’t allow it. Resist the devil and he’ll flee from you (James 4:7).
Faith isn’t just for getting what you want from God; faith is for living for God and establishing His righteousness in the earth, irrespective and independent of circumstances. So, being tired of everything and “chickening out” is not an option for the child of God. You can’t just decide to abandon your ministry and academics because you’re facing challenges. Put your faith to work; become earnest and importunate in prayer and intercession; don’t chicken out. The Bible says, “You are a poor specimen if you can’t stand the pressure of adversity.” (Proverbs 24:10). The mind plays a crucial role in this process. It is often attacked by Satan with doubts and negative thoughts. You must actively reject those thoughts that do not align with God’s truth and instead, let your eyes look straight on. Set your heart on the right course, on what God has said concerning you. Don’t deviate from the vision; focus on His Word. Set your affections on Christ and His Word, and your faith will always prevail.

THE VALUE OF A SOUL (Be Compelled To Pray For and Preach to Souls)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Corinthians 5:18-20 “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Gerald often noticed a group of boys in his estate who smoked every morning and evening as people went to and from work. Many had written them off as a lost cause, dismissing them with judgmental glances or hushed conversations. But Gerald felt differently. He couldn’t shake the burden in his heart to reach out to them. Instead of ignoring them like everyone else, he felt compelled to share the Gospel with them and help them find a way to rehabilitation.
The most important thing to God is human souls. It’s the reason Jesus came and gave His life. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). He didn’t come for the redemption of the mountains, hills, and beautiful vegetation of the world. These creations, while majestic and valuable to God, were not the focus of His sacrificial mission. He came to save human beings—men, women, boys, and girls!
His life, death, and resurrection were all centred on the salvation of mankind. This act of love underscores the immense value God places on each person. We must have that in our hearts and live always with the consciousness that every human being is important to God. If you live with this understanding, it will shape your interactions, decisions, and priorities. It’ll drive you to live purposefully, knowing that according to the Scriptures, there is a definite number of souls that must be won to the Lord before the Rapture of the Church.
Therefore, evangelism becomes your heartbeat and lifestyle. Remain passionate and fervent in sharing the Gospel with others. Put your time, energy, and resources into it. Recognise the intrinsic value of every soul and be determined to see them fulfil God’s destiny for them. Pray earnestly for the salvation of souls around the world. So, in addition to fervently and radically preaching the Gospel, intercede for those who haven’t yet known the Lord—that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ will shine unto them for their salvation, prevailing over darkness, idolatry, and deception. Hallelujah!

HE IS THE ETERNAL SALVATION (Through Jesus Christ, God’s Plan For Redemption And Righteousness Was Fulfilled)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Romans 5:19 “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Recall what we read in our opening scripture; the Lord Jesus Christ, through His perfect obedience and sacrificial death on the cross, restored the broken relationship between God and humanity. Jesus’ obedience countered Adam’s disobedience, offering justification and eternal life to all who believe in Him. Therefore, through Jesus Christ, God’s plan for redemption and righteousness was fulfilled. No wonder He declared in John 14:6, “I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” He is the eternal salvation. When Adam was created, he existed in innocence, knowing only good because everything God created was good (Genesis 1:31).
God entrusted Adam with authority over His creation, effectively making him the steward of this world. Along with this authority, God provided Adam with specific instructions, notably to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which was in the midst of the garden. God clearly warned Adam of the consequences of eating of the tree: “…for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:17 KJV). Adam, nonetheless, disobeyed God and ate of the forbidden tree. This act of disobedience Recall what we read in our opening scripture; the Lord Jesus Christ, through His perfect obedience and sacrificial death on the cross, restored the broken relationship between God and humanity.

Adam, nonetheless, disobeyed God and ate of the forbidden tree. This act of disobedience constituted treason against God, and as a result, Adam forfeited his authority to Satan, who then became the god of this world. But God, in His infinite mercy and wisdom, had a plan for redemption. He sent another Adam—the second and last Adam—Jesus Christ: “…The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven” (1 Corinthians 15:45 & 47). He is the eternal salvation. Hallelujah!

THE ULTIMATE COUNSELOR (The Holy Spirit Has All The Information You Require)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 11:14 “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
James had an important decision to make about his career. Everyone gave him different advice, leaving him confused. He sought counsel but prayed first, asking the Holy Spirit for guidance. As he studied the Word, clarity came. A “multitude of counsellors” therefore means that you’re getting sufficient or accurate information to help you decide on an appropriate course of action. Back in those days when this verse was written, they didn’t have access to as much information as we have today. They had what they called the “king’s advisors.” He depended on them for wise counsel. They were the “wise” men: the king’s counsellors, such as Ahithophel in the days of King David; his counsel was said to be as though one had heard from God (2 Samuel 16:23).
But today, we have lots of materials that we can study to get sufficient information on a subject that can help us make an informed decision. So, it’s about the quality of information, not about the number of people you’re calling to counsel you. However, you have the most dependable Counsellor who can give you the most accurate information you require, and that’s the Holy Spirit. The Psalmist said, “I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons.” (Psalm 16:7). The Holy Spirit is the one who instructs you in your inward man. He gives you instructions by which He guides your life. Some of these may not even be expressly dealt with in the Scriptures. For example, you could require information concerning travelling or making some purchases. The Counsellor in you, the Holy Spirit, can provide you with necessary information to enable you make the right decisions.

YOUR EVER-PRESENT HELP (The Spirit of Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 16:13 “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Linda had battled an illness for months, trying every medication but finding no relief. Frustrated, she cried out, “Holy Spirit, help me!” A gentle whisper in her heart led her to Romans 8:11: “If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead … dwells in you, He will also give life to your mortal bodies.” She meditated on the verse daily, declaring healing over her body. Slowly, her strength returned, and one day, she realised the symptoms were gone. Sometimes when people get sick, they try all kinds of drugs, some of which even cause more problems than they realise. When nothing changes, they begin to wonder, “Why am I going through these difficulties? Why am I feeling so sick? Why is this happening to me?” Well, the Holy Spirit was sent to guide you into all truth, including the truth about your health. He can help you know the problem and also the solution. Did you know the Holy Spirit is a healer? Yes, He is. The Bible says, “If He lives in you, He will vitalise your physical body.” It doesn’t matter that you’ve been diagnosed with some disease; now that He lives in you, there’s the guarantee for a change. Glory to God! Maybe you’re a student or you’re carrying out research for a project; the Holy Spirit is the Teacher inside you. You need to listen to Him because He knows everything. He can fill you with the knowledge of God’s will, with all wisdom and spiritual understanding concerning anything. Just ask Him. The Holy Spirit has come to help you in all aspects of life, whether in business, in family, or in your finances. He’s come to help you gain the mastery, to make you a wonder. Your greatest asset while you’re here in this world is the Holy Spirit. He’ll teach you the Word of God and remind you of things you’ve learnt.
The Holy Spirit guides you in prayer and shows you the future. So, with Him, you can never lose or fail. Encourage His work and ministry in your life by acknowledging that He’s in you and with you always. You can speak with Him more than you do anyone else. THE KEY TO EFFECTIVE EVANGELISM (It’s The Holy Spirit Who Does The Conviction)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 16:8 “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Jerry was passionate about sharing the Gospel, but every time he spoke to others, they seemed uninterested. He prayed, “Lord, why won’t they believe?” He heard the Lord say conviction isn’t his job; it’s the Holy Spirit’s. The next day, he spoke to a friend about Jesus, but this time, he prayed first, and sure enough, his friend received Christ.
The Lord Jesus made the statement above in one of the last meetings He had with His disciples before He was crucified. During the long teaching, which started in the 13th chapter, He told them He was going away, and the disciples were puzzled. Then, He said, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive...” (John 14:16-17 KJV).
In subsequent verses, He told them who the Comforter is: “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost…” (John 14:26). This was the same person He was referring to in chapter 16 when He said, “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8). What did He mean by this statement?
The word “reprove” is translated from the Greek word “elegcho,” which means “to convict” or “to convince.” This is the work of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus preached, many didn’t believe. Even though certain individuals believed and received miracles, the people generally didn’t believe. The Bible says, “But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him” (John 12:37). They weren’t convicted. Why? Because the Holy Spirit hadn’t been poured out on the people. But Jesus said when the Holy Spirit comes, He will convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement.
Today, men can be convicted in their hearts— convinced—when they hear the Word of God because the Holy Spirit has been poured out. The reason you’re convinced that Jesus is the Son of God even though you haven’t seen Him is because the Holy Spirit brought that revelation to your spirit. It wasn’t a man that convinced you; the Holy Spirit did that in your heart. You believe because He helped you to believe.
That’s why when you go out to win souls, it’s important to do so by the power of the Holy Spirit. He’s the one who convicts the people; He convinces those listening to you and makes them believe. Glory to God!

DIVINE VISION (See Through The Eyes Of Faith)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 9:5 “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
On a certain day, as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. His disciples, who were with Him, asked if the man’s blindness was a result of his sin or his parents’ sins. But Jesus replied that it had nothing to do with either the man’s or his parents’ sin (John 9:3).
Then, He made a remarkable statement in the fifth verse: “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” After saying this, Jesus did something mindblowing—He spat on the ground, made clay with the spittle, and rubbed it into the man’s eyes. Historians tell us that the man wasn’t just blind; he had no eyeballs, only empty sockets. Jesus performed a miracle by turning clay into eyes, having declared, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
Do you know what this means? Every time Jesus used the expression “I AM,” He was reiterating what God said to Moses when he asked, “What is Your name?” And God answered, “I AM.” God was telling Moses, “I am whatever you need Me to be. If you need deliverance, I am your deliverance. If you need salvation, I am your salvation. If you need healing, I am your healing. What is it you need? I AM.”
So, when Jesus said, “I AM…,” He was saying the same thing God had said: “I am what you need.” He saw a man who didn’t have eyes and declared, “I am the light of the world.” Remember what the Bible says: “The light of the body is the eye...” (Matthew 6:22, Luke 11:34). Jesus was saying, “I am the eyes of the world. Without Me, the world can’t see.” Right away, He proved it by giving the man new eyes.
Now, here’s the most intriguing part: the same Jesus said, “Ye are the light of the world…” (Matthew 5:14). That means, just like Him, you give “eyes”—sight—to the world! Without you, the world can’t see. You bring direction, clarity, and vision to the world.
Even now, boldly declare, “I am the light of the world!” It means that when you encounter someone who is down, you can lift them up. Someone can have their eyes restored just because you showed up. Someone who was sick can be healed. Hallelujah!

THE KEY TO TRANSFORMATION (Shape Your Reality With Your Words)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Sophia stood before the mirror, saying, “I am strong. I am victorious.” Every morning, she spoke life over herself, even when doubt tried to creep in.
At school, she faced challenges, missed deadlines and criticism. Yet, she refused to complain. Instead, she declared, “I excel in all I do. Favour surrounds me.”
When you speak, things happen. Your words are powerful; they create or destroy. This is the reason we emphasise speaking right, affirming God’s Word on all occasions. What you say is what you get. Ponder again what we read in our opening scripture; through the words you speak, you bring forth good or evil, life or death, sickness or health, poverty or wealth. It’s up to you. It’s about what you say. You may say, “I’ve been speaking, but nothing has been happening.” Who told you nothing has been happening? That’s like planting your seeds and digging them out of the ground before they grow. Seeds don’t germinate overnight, but once they’re planted in the right environment, they most certainly will grow. Words are seeds.
Therefore, you have to keep speaking the Word. Like we often say, “Keep saying it; don’t stop talking it!” When you affirm the Word, it works. In Isaiah 55:10-11, the Lord said, “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
This shows the power, immutability, impregnability, and infallibility of the Word of God. Are you aware that your words hold the same power? Remember, you’re like Him; you’re created in His image and in His likeness. As He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). The Word of God in your mouth is God talking. Quit thinking it’s not working. Don’t allow Satan to get you into the sense-realm of trying to observe lying vanities.

A SPIRITUAL STEWARD (You Have A Responsibility Of Intercession For Your Nation And Its People)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Luke 19:44 “And level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.
▶️ LET’S TALK
Did you notice the word visitation in our opening scripture? Some think Jesus was simply talking about a mere visit, but that’s not what He meant. The word is translated from the Greek Episkopē, which refers to bishopric—the role or office of an overseer. An overseer has a responsibility: to watch over and take care of something.
This gives us insight into the Master’s words. The Jews weren’t watchful, so they missed their time of visitation. This also brings to mind God’s instruction to Adam in Genesis 2:15: “to dress and keep” the Garden of Eden, meaning he was to watch over and care for it. In the same way, Jesus told His disciples, “Watch and pray” (Matthew 26:41, Mark 13:33).
As Christians and members of the Church, we have a responsibility to be spiritually aware. If we don’t pray and intercede for others, both individuals and nations can suffer the consequences. Matthew 26:41 (AMPC) says, “... Keep awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray….” 1 Timothy 2:1 urges us to pray for all people. Ignoring this instruction means neglecting our “bishopric”, our duty to watch over the spiritual state of those around us.
God has given us understanding of His Word and the ability to discern the times. That’s why we must stay alert! Ezekiel 3:17 says, “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me.” We are watchmen and watchwomen, and one of the most powerful ways we fulfill this role is through prayer.
Paul reiterated this in 1 Thessalonians 5:17: “Pray without ceasing,” and again in Colossians 4:2: “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.” Through prayer and spiritual discernment, we can thwart the plans of darkness and bring God’s peace to troubled places.
