PROPELLED TO DO (The Word Causes You To “Do”)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Philippians 2:13 NASB “…It is God who is at work in you, both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
God’s Word isn’t referring to just some words on the pages of the Bible; it’s a dynamic force that propels you forward. It’s a propelling force; it gives you spiritual motivation and also empowers you to take action. The Word can effectively work in you until it energises and creates in you the power and desire to actualize your dream. Success comes from “doing,” that is, acting on the Word, not from seeing it alone.

There’re many with great ideas from God’s Word that never came to light because they never took action. If only they’d meditate on the Word! That’s why Joshua 1:8 AMPC says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.”

Notice it didn’t say, “...You shall meditate on it day and night and also observe to do…,” nor did it say, “Meditate on it and do it.” No! Rather, it says if you’d truly meditate on the Word, you cannot but do it! “Doing” is a result or implication of you meditating on the Word. Colossians 3:16 says to let the Word of God dwell in you richly; have it in your spirit in abundance because of what it does in you.

DON’T BE A SIMPLETON! (Be Full Of Sagacity, Discretion, And Sound Judgment)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 2:10-11 “When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
“How can there be only one God?” Jessie argued with her bunkmate, Remi. “There are as many gods as there are people.”

“Where did you get that from? The Bible doesn’t say that; what it says is that there’s only one true God, and that’s Jesus Christ,” Remi responded authoritatively.

“There you go again saying that Jesus is God, when we all know that Jesus was a man,” Jessie continued to argue.

“Don’t be a simpleton, Jess! Allow God’s Word remove silliness from your mind.”

The open-minded or seducible person could hear, “There are three gods,” and agrees. Then, he listens to a podcast where the speaker says, “There’re actually five gods,” and he also agrees to that. Soon, someone else comes up with another theory that says there’s no God; and he also agrees. No! That’s being a simpleton.

Such folks need the wisdom of God’s Word to give them understanding. It’s guaranteed: God’s Word will eject foolishness and impart wisdom to you. 2 Timothy 3:15 tells us that the Holy Scriptures are able to make you wise. Hallelujah!

When people aren’t behaving or acting right, refer them to the Word. When the Word gets into them, there’ll be a transformation. If they were timid, they’d become bold, sagacious, discerning, discrete, perceptive and prudent. The Word will cause them to deal wisely in the affairs of life (Joshua 1:8 AMPC).

Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom….” The more of the Word you have inside you, the wiser you become, such that even your choice of words in dealing with others will be gracious, excellent, and loving

GIVE IT YOUR ALL (Be Committed To Bringing Salvation To Your World)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Corinthians 1:8 AMPC “For we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about the affliction and oppressing distress which befell us in [the province of] Asia, how we were so utterly and unbearably weighed down and crushed that we despaired even of life [itself].”

▶️ LET’S TALK
In Acts 19, Luke vividly recounts some of the Apostle Paul’s challenging experiences while spreading the Gospel. He faced personal risks, imprisonment, and even riots, like the one orchestrated by Demetrius the silversmith. In Acts 22:24, a commander ordered him to be taken to the barracks for flogging and interrogation. No wonder Paul himself recalls, “...I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often” (2 Corinthians 11:23).

In his first letter to the Corinthian church, Paul mentions his encounter at Ephesus, saying, “...I have fought with beasts at Ephesus...” (1 Corinthians 15:32). In his second letter, he describes feeling as if he and his companions were on death row in Asia, yet they received supernatural deliverance (2 Corinthians 1:8-9).

This same Gospel has been entrusted to you; will you take it lightly or give it your all? Are you willing to boldly proclaim the Gospel to your friends, classmates and neighbours, even if it means risking your social status or losing out on some friendships? What about your family members who aren’t yet Christians? Will you boldly share the message with them or stay silent to avoid discomfort or rejection?

Some people hesitate to share their faith for fear of damaging relationships they’ve built. But remember, you’re a witness to your generation, and the Lord holds you responsible as their witness. You must be committed to bringing salvation to those around you. This isn’t about self-preservation, comfort, or personal gain—it’s about honouring and glorifying Christ the Lord, regardless of the cost.

🎯 Go Deeper
2 Corinthians 5:18-19; 1 Corinthians 9:16-17

DECLARE IT WITH GUSTO! (Affirm The Word Of God With Confidence)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Timothy 1:7 AMPC “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
In our opening verse, God makes it clear what He hasn’t given us and what He has given us: He hasn’t given us the spirit of fear, cowardice, or timidity. Instead, He has given us the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Make it a habit to declare this truth over your life regularly.

Never express difficulties in understanding or retaining anything. Refrain from confessing a dull mind; rather, affirm that you possess an extraordinary amplitude for comprehension and exceptional intellect, marked by wit and intelligence. Through the Holy Spirit, you have an expanded understanding and a brilliant mind. Make this declaration about yourself frequently.

Avoid using words that imply forgetfulness. Instead of saying, “I just forgot” or “I’m so forgetful,” affirm that you have a sound mind capable of retaining and recalling information effectively. You possess a sharp memory and a strong ability to remember important details, experiences, and knowledge. Your mental sharpness and cognitive abilities are excellent and top-notch. That’s what the Word says about you.

Furthermore, refuse to express fear. While some may find it fashionable to speak fear, Christians are not designed to fear. We are people of faith. Reject the language of fear and always speak in faith. Boldly declare that, as a child of God, fear has no place in your life. Proclaim the Word of faith with conviction and confidence.

THE THRUST OF CHRISTIANITY (Salvation Is “You In Christ”; Christianity Is “Christ In You”)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Colossians 1:27 ESV “To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
“Fill in this form and we will get back to you,” Mr. Alan said, as he gave Francesca a written form to fill in her biodata. Francesca scanned through the form and noted something: “Excuse me, Mr. Alan, my form doesn’t have the “Religion” part in it even though Christianity isn’t a religion.

“Oh okay, I will reprint another one for you but why do you think that Christianity isn’t a religion?” he asked.

“No, it’s not, Mr. Alan. Christianity means Christ in me.”

Christianity stands very far apart from the conventional definitions of religion. In truth, the Bible elucidates that Christianity incorporates certain aspects of religion but itself isn’t a religion. It’s like prayer, for example; there’s prayer in Christianity but Christianity is not prayer. Let’s also consider salvation: salvation occurs when one is born into Christ. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature....”

When we witness and share the Gospel with those who have not yet known the Lord and lead them to salvation, they come into Christ, receiving eternal life. But Christianity goes further to living the life initiated by salvation. Thus, salvation brings you into Christ, which is “you in Christ,” but the Christian life is “Christ in you.” This is the thrust of Christianity. When you truly discover Christ dwelling within you, you live a glorious life, fulfilling God’s purpose. The moment you uncover the presence of Christ within you, your life becomes a melody, a symphony of joy. This is not a mere ideology but a tangible reality.

The true essence of Christianity lies in understanding that it is not merely a religion but a divine relationship with the Father by Christ Jesus. This is one of the reasons you must take your study of “Rhapsody of Realities TeeVo” seriously; in it, you can receive the enlightenment needed to grasp this profound reality that Christ now dwells within you, in the very quarters of your heart.

“RIGHTWISENESS” (“Rightwiseness” And The Judgments Of God)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Isaiah 26:9 “…For when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
Rightwiseness is not a term that’s often used in everyday communication, but it’s certainly an important attribute of righteousness. To be “rightwise” means to be “rightward” or “towards the right.” However, this does not refer to physical positioning on the “right-hand side.” Instead, it pertains to moral rightness—the ability to always be and do right in the presence of a holy God.

Remember, righteousness is God’s nature: His character, ability, and attribute of being right and perfect. Everything God thinks, says, and does is inherently right because He’s God and can never be wrong. This quality of God’s rightness is captured in the old English term “rightwiseness.” God alone knows what’s right; when He imparts His righteousness to your spirit, you also begin to discern what’s right like Him, and you’re given the ability to act accordingly.

As a consequence, the judgments of God are produced in your spirit. What do I mean by the judgments of God? This refers to how God perceives and evaluates things, His perspective and thoughts on matters. Because of His nature within you, you now carry God’s judgments in your spirit. You possess His opinions and understand His will.

Prophet Isaiah, speaking about the Christ, said, “…He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears; but with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth…” (Isaiah 11:3-4). This indicates that Christ would not judge based on His physical senses but through the Spirit. Similarly, now that Christ has been made to you righteousness, His “rightwiseness” and His judgments reside in your spirit. You discern and judge by the Spirit. Hallelujah!

IT’S TRANSCENDENTAL! (Christianity: A Call To The Transcendent Life)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Colossians 1:27 CEV “God did this because he wanted you Gentiles to understand his wonderful and glorious mystery. And the mystery is that Christ lives in you….”

▶️ LET’S TALK
In Christianity, we haven’t embraced a religion; what we’ve actually received is God’s nature—His life. Don’t let anyone deceive you into thinking that Christianity is just one of the religions in the world; it’s not. It’s a relationship—a call to the transcendent life of glory and love.

When you have a relationship with someone, that isn’t religion. Those who describe Christianity as a religion do so because all the outward things that religious people do seem to be consistent with some of the outward things Christians do. For example, in religion, they pray or probably have a book that they read; they also have religious rites and rituals that they follow.

In Christianity, we have sacraments like the Holy Communion, Water Baptism, etc., but that doesn’t make it a religion. You can’t look at an animal and say, “If it has two hands and two legs and can walk, then it is a human being”; that isn’t enough. Otherwise, gorillas and other apes will be categorised as humans.

Christianity is a real experience; it’s the active life of God in a human being; it’s Christ alive in you; it’s a real comradeship with the real and living Christ—a call to oneness with divinity: “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17). Hallelujah!

In Christianity, we live and move in Christ (Acts 17:28); we’re members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones (Ephesians 5:30). Colossians 1:26-27 sums it all! It says, “The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints…which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Christianity is Christ alive in the quarters of your heart—a real relationship with a real God. Christianity is a walk with God in righteousness. Hallelujah!

GOD UNITED US WITH JESUS (We All Were Part Of His Death, Burial, Resurrection, And Ascension)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Ephesians 2:4-6 TPT “But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!”

▶️ LET’S TALK
Oh glory! What a profound portion of scripture we just read! When Jesus was on the cross, he wasn’t there alone by Himself, suffering for His sins! No, we were the ones on the cross; He was our substitute. When He died, we were in Him. When He was buried, in the mind of justice, we were all buried. When He went to hell and defeated Satan and the demons of darkness, as Paul detailed in Colossians 2:15, in the mind of God, we were in Him. We defeated Satan in Christ.

Then the Bible shows that God raised Jesus from the dead; when that happened, we were raised together with Him. Ephesians 2:6 says He “…raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” This is how God sees us now. Everything that Jesus did was for us—the whole world; we were in Him. Think about it: Jesus rose from the dead with a new life—the resurrection life; that’s the life we have in us today because as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

Note this also: when you received Christ, you didn’t receive the life with which Jesus went to hell; you received the very life of Jesus without sin. He went to hell with our sins, defeated the devil, paid the full penalty for sin, and came back to life as the righteousness of God. Hallelujah! Remember, He was the first to be born again, and now, by virtue of that New Birth, we also have become the righteousness of God in Him: “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

GOD’S LABEL IS ON YOU (You Are Recreated In Christ And God’s Handiwork)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Ephesians 2:10 AMPC “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].”

▶️ LET’S TALK
Notice how Apostle Paul doesn’t say, “We were or we shall be God’s own handiwork.” He chooses to use the present tense, indicating that at this very moment, God has placed His label upon you. Wherever you go in this great world, in the realms of the spirit, your identity is recognized because God’s label is upon you. You have been recreated in Christ Jesus.

Some might argue, “But God created everything, so everyone is his workmanship?” Paul’s perspective differs from this. While there was the initial creation described in Genesis, Paul focuses on a distinct creation—a transformation in Christ Jesus—for those of us who are born again. He then reveals the purpose of this new birth: that we may fulfill the good works that God has predestined for us, walking on the paths He prepared in advance. Hallelujah!

This shows that for those of us recreated in Christ, every aspect of our lives is orchestrated by God to be excellent and glorious. But that’s not all; we’re not just meant to live but to live the “good life” that God has already arranged for us to live. This helps us understand why sickness, disease, lack, or poverty should not be part of our lives. Let this be your confession. Every so often, declare, “I’m recreated in Christ, for beauty and for glory; good things are in my path, and the righteousness of God is expressed in and through me always.” Hallelujah!

HE WAS BORN AGAIN TOO! (Christ Jesus—The First Man To Be Born Again)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Revelation 1:5 NIV “...Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
“Wait, what did you just say? Jesus was born again, how?” Aisha interrupted, almost with laughter, as Rohan shared the Gospel of Jesus with her.

“Yes, Aisha, I didn’t stutter or make a mistake; Jesus was the first one to be born again. If He wasn’t, we couldn’t be.”

You know, when I was a much younger Christian, as I went about preaching to people, asking them to receive Christ’s salvation and be born again, some of them confronted me with the question, “Why should I be born again when Jesus wasn’t even born again?” From my limited understanding at the time, I answered that Jesus didn’t have to be born again because He was the Son of God.

However, as I studied the Bible, I found out Jesus had to be born again, and He was indeed born again. The question that this may immediately bring to your mind would be: When was He born again? According to our opening scripture, Jesus was born again the day He was raised from the dead. So why did Jesus have to be born again? The answer is simple: He needed to be born again because He was made sin for us on the Cross. The Bible records that God “...made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus took our place and became ‘us’ on the cross. When God looked at Jesus on that cross, He saw you, He saw me; He saw every man, woman, boy, and girl ever born, and that’ll ever be born into this world. Our sins were laid on Him, and He died in that state—our sin bearer—and was buried for us. But thank God it didn’t end there!

When He had paid the full penalty for our sins, the Bible says He was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father for our justification (Romans 6:4). He needed to be raised from the dead into a new life, the resurrection life, to prove that what He did for us was adequate for our justification. He’s called “the firstborn from the dead,” which means the first to come out of spiritual death and be born again. He heads up the new creation. Glory to God!

2 Corinthians 9:7 “…Let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of [necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
The story of Abraham in Genesis 22 helps us better understand Paul’s words in our opening scripture. After years of waiting to have a child, Abraham and Sarah eventually gave birth to Isaac in their old age. But one day, God asked Abraham to offer his only son, Isaac, as a sacrifice (Genesis 22:2). I’m aware that there are religious books and certain movies that highlight Abraham’s disappointment upon receiving that instruction. To them, he gave Isaac reluctantly, grudgingly, sorrowfully, and regretfully. No, he wasn’t sorrowful; he did it by faith.

Remember the Bible calls Abraham the father of faith? He was a man of faith who demonstrated his faith that God could raise Isaac from the dead, and symbolically, that’s exactly what happened: “By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son…Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death” (Hebrews 11:17-19 NIV).

Abraham trusted completely in the Lord and offered Isaac cheerfully. No wonder, in the Lord’s impending judgement against Sodom, He deliberated, “…Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing?” (Genesis 18:17). God wouldn’t leave Abraham out of His plans; He wouldn’t do without him. That’s exactly what the Word says in 2 Corinthians 9:7 AMPC: “...God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving].”

We’re Abraham’s seed. Like Him, we give in faith; we’re cheerful, joyous, “prompt to do it” givers. We give from the heart, and nothing is ever too much for us to put into the spread of the Gospel. The result is a life of ever-increasing greatness, relevance, and impact in the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah!

WE HAVE THE FINAL SAY! (We Have The Rulership Of This World In His Name)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Ephesians 1:21 TPT “And now he is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming!“

▶️ LET’S TALK
As you delve into the books of Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Amos, Hosea, and Revelation, along with 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, you’ll uncover insights into God’s timeline from creation to the establishment of the heavenly city, New Jerusalem.

These books of the Bible reveal various world governments appointed by God throughout history, shaping nations and kingdoms until the Church age. During this period, God entrusted no single individual or group with global governance. Instead, He established the Name of Jesus Christ as the name by which anything can be legally done in this world, as far as heaven is concerned.

The Church age is exclusively left for the Name of Jesus Christ. His Name is to be used in governing things in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth. So, we’re the ones in charge and in control of things in this world; we’re the ones to determine the destinies of the nations, not Satan.

Until the Rapture of the Church, we have the final say on what becomes of our world. The Lord made us partakers of His divine nature; we’re members of the heavenly pantheon; and in His Name, we reassign the desolate heritages. That’s God’s plan.

Satan isn’t going to be able to enforce his will and exert his influence on the nations as long as we are in this world. We can discern his works and stratagems through the wisdom of God’s Word. And with our authority in the Name of Jesus, we cut him off from the nations and establish the righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

HE’S ALWAYS CONSISTENT (Jesus Christ Is The Same Yesterday, Today, And Forever)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Mark 12:24 ESV ‘Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?”’

▶️ LET’S TALK
“Oh Lord Jesus, I wish you were still here physically on earth because there’re so many sick people in the world,” Arwin said to the Lord.

“Arwin, as long as you’re in the earth, I’m there in you to heal them. I haven’t changed for I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. Take my healing presence to those hurting and heal them,” the Lord replied.

The Bible declares, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). Therefore, what He did in Bible days, He’s still doing today; He’s consistent. His Name has the same power, the same authority to unstop deaf ears, open blind eyes, heal lame legs, restore maimed limbs and even raise the dead as it did in Bible days.

The Bible says, “…Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13 ESV). This applies to “anybody” and it’s true and still relevant. So, it doesn’t matter how bad you or others might think your case is; if you’d call upon the Name of the Lord, He’ll hear and answer you. The Name of Jesus saves, delivers, protects, heals, preserves and makes whole.

Perhaps the doctors have given up on you or on a loved one dying, maybe because of kidney failure, a heart disease, or a nervous breakdown. Don’t fret; our Lord is gracious, kind, yet all-powerful! Call on His Name and there’ll be a change. Remember that there is no document in the world that is truer than the Bible—the Word of God. God’s Word is His will. And we know through His will that anybody who calls on Him shall be saved.

All you have to do is believe; receive His message—His plan for you to walk in divine health and victory—and act on it. Mark 9:23 says, “…If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” These words aren’t mere clichés; they came right out of the lips of the Master; they’re forever true. He said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33). He’s always consistent. Glory to His glorious Name forever!

NEW CREATION TRUTHS (God’s Word Is The Only Truth About You)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 17:17 NIV “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
Whatever God has said about you in His Word is the reality; that’s the truth about you. For example, the Word says, “...Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4 NASB). That means you can’t be oppressed; you can’t be defeated or disadvantaged in life because the greater One, with all His wisdom, power, and glory, lives in you.

Another truth is in 1 John 3:2 that says, “Beloved, we are [even here and] now God’s children…” (AMPC). You’re a child of God right now, not next year or when you get to heaven; it’s a present-hour reality. You’re born of Him, and that makes you an associate of the God-kind.

Moreover, 1 John 4:17 says, “...As He is, so are we in this world”; that means you’re His express image, the effulgence of His glory. Anyone who has seen you has seen the Master, because you’re His icon. No wonder He said in John 17:22, “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one.” Thus, as He is—glorified—so are you!

Affirming the truth of our uniqueness, peculiarity, and superiority, the Apostle James in James 1:18 writes, “Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.”

1 Peter 2:9 also reiterates that you’re peculiar, the first and the best of everything that God created. You’re His most precious and prized possession, called to display the excellence, beauty and perfections of divinity! So, it doesn’t matter what you may be going through in your life today; don’t despair; you’re more than a conqueror. You’re the seed of Abraham and a success.

Everything and everyone you touch is blessed because you’re the dispenser of God’s goodness! These are new creation realities and truths revealed about you in the Word of God; and they’re indeed worth singing, dancing, and shouting about!

“HE SENT HIS WORD” (The Word Of God Has Power)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Psalm 107:20 “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
The scripture above brings to mind an amazing testimony of a young guy who had a ghastly accident, resulting in a gruesome leg injury. The doctors said he’d never walk again, and if he did, it would take some years for that to happen.

This young lad took Rhapsody of Realities and began to meditate on the Word. He studied it voraciously and took the confessions seriously, reflecting on the healing power of God’s Word over his leg. Soon enough, he began to see changes. Eventually, his leg was completely restored, and he was able to walk again. Praise God!

Always remember that we were made or created by the Word. We’re products or offspring of the Word. Before God formed man from the dust of the ground, He already created him with His Word. He only formed, from the dust, the man He had created in the spirit with His Word. That Word is where life comes from; that Word brought creation into being!

Therefore, when you want to change anything, use the Word! Proclaim the Word. The Word of God is a force; it’s a “thing.” In fact, one of the translations of the word “Rhema” is “THING”; the Word is a thing; it’s a spiritual substance. That’s why, when you proclaim it, it goes out into the spirit realm and has the capacity to produce exactly what it talks about.

So, when you’re talking the Word, don’t think you’re just making statements; no! The Word has energy: potent and creative power. As you affirm the Word, the message that it carries is the power that it transports. Glory to God!

GOD RAISES THE DEAD (Carry The Resurrection Consciousness)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Corinthians 1:9 NIV ““Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
The Bible shows us how God tested Abraham by asking him to sacrifice Isaac, his only son, whom he had in his old age. Abraham didn’t hesitate or complain, but as he proceeded to offer Isaac, God intervened and stopped him before any harm was done. As the book of Hebrews reveals, Abraham had Isaac raised back to life. As far as God was concerned, it was a resurrection because Abraham had totally given up Isaac. It was God who said, “Abraham, stop! Don’t hurt the child.” Abraham had faith in the resurrection (Hebrews 11:19).

It’s the same thing that Paul was talking about in the opening scripture, where he narrated how he and his companions were so weighed down beyond their strength, and their situation was so devastating that they felt within themselves the very sentence of death. So instead of trusting in and depending on themselves, they depended on God, who raises the dead. What a mindset!

They had given up on life as far as they were concerned; they had the sentence of death in themselves, but they had a resurrection consciousness. That’s just like Jesus, who gave Himself up, knowing that the Father would raise Him back to life! We’re the children of faith, the children of Abraham, and we act like Abraham. We carry the resurrection consciousness in our spirits.

With this mindset, we understand that anything He asks you to give is multiplied back to you a thousandfold and more. Abraham offered Isaac, and he became the father of many nations. His descendants became as numerous as the sand on the seashore. So, serve the Lord truly, joyfully, and fully. The very idea of giving your all to Him shouldn’t trouble, destabilise, or give you sleepless nights when you have resurrection consciousness. Hallelujah!

TELL THE UNTOLD STORY (Be Passionate About His Mandate Of Reaching The Lost)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
As a teenager, I felt a compelling urge to share the message of Jesus Christ and His saving power with everyone around me. My heart would be filled with fervent prayers, interceding for the sick, the afflicted, and crying out for the salvation of the lost. During my prayer times, I often pondered, “How can we reach them? What more can we do?”

This burning desire drove me to hit the streets, going from house to house and door to door, boldly preaching the Gospel. Some people reacted with anger and warned me never to return. But I remained undeterred. I visited hospitals, schools, and seized every opportunity to share the message—in buses, taxis, and any gathering place.

All I wanted was to share the untold story of Jesus Christ and reach those who had not yet heard. Yet, it never felt like enough. I encouraged my friends to join me in this mission, and we took to the streets together. But still, it felt insufficient. We even organized crusades in different places, but the hunger to reach more persisted.

The more I preached, the more I realized the urgent need to reach those who had not yet heard the Gospel and rescue them from darkness into the light of God’s love. The words of Jesus in Matthew 24:14 became deeply personal to me: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

These words aren’t just for me—they should be personal for you too. They should motivate you to do more for the Gospel. Be passionate about spreading the message, not only within your community but also to the farthest reaches of the earth. Take the Lord’s mandate seriously: “… Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere” (Mark 16:15 TLB).

I pray that today, the eyes of many around the world who are in darkness will be open to the light of the Gospel, and they are turned from darkness to light, and into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. YOU DON’T HAVE TWO LIVES! (There’s Only Eternal Life In Your Spirit)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 3:16 NIV “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
The opening verse is a beautiful statement from Jesus. It says whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life; that’s you. It also brings to mind the words of Scripture in Colossians 1:26-27 NIV: “The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Christ in you means eternal life within! This subject in scripture calls for deep meditation. First, let’s consider the definition of eternal life. What exactly is it? Eternal life refers to the life and nature of God—that is, the God-life. Just as there is plant life and animal life, animal life can further be categorised into human life and various other forms of biological life.

However, there’s a distinct kind of life—the God-life. God is the author of life, and everything we consider “life” emanates from Him. He is life-personified. Thus, His very life, His nature, was birthed within us when we were born again. Does this mean we possess two lives?” No!

When you were born again, a new life was introduced into your spirit, and the human life with which you were born of your earthly parents was replaced by the life and nature of God. The Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

This simply implies that we’re divine beings and divine creatures, and our divine nature makes us masters over circumstances, with dominion over Satan and the world’s deplorable systems. No wonder the Apostle Peter calls us associates of a heavenly pantheon—comrades of the Godkind (2 Peter 1:4). Hallelujah!

🎯 Go Deeper
Galatians 2:20; 1 John 5:11-13 NIV; 1 John 4:17

My divine nature has made me a master over circumstances, with dominion over the world’s deplorable systems. My old life has been completely replaced by the divine life, which is superior to sickness, disease, defeat and all depravities that affect the natural man. The nature of righteousness causes me to walk in God’s perfect will today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DO YOU HAVE A BIBLE? (The Bible: An Epic Of The Spirit)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
When you study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, you’ll come to the realisation that, indeed, the whole Bible is an epic of the Spirit. Moses, by the Spirit, wrote, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:1-2). This extraordinary person of the Godhead—the Holy Spirit—is introduced to us in the very beginning.

In the book of Proverbs, we read about His intent, which was to dwell in us and have fellowship with us. The writer, by the Spirit, writes that the Spirit’s desire wasn’t to live in heaven without us but to be with us and in us (Proverbs 8:30-31). In the four gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—the Lord Jesus gives us an even greater light to tell us who the Holy Spirit is, and in Matthew 12:32, He warns against offending the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the one who brings the presence of God to us and communicates the love of God to us. You can’t read the Bible and miss who the Holy Spirit is. Over in the Epistles, Paul also highlights, “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4:30).

Those who haven’t received the Holy Spirit often find the epistles confusing. If only they knew that the epistles are an effusion of an extravagant discourse of Christ; they’re a compendium of extraordinary truths for today.

In other words, they have a message of the now, not by way of the timelessness of the message but by way of the timelessness of the man of whom He speaks. And the only way to have a full grasp of this discourse is through the Spirit. How important it is to recognise and be fully yielded to the ministry of the Spirit!

🎯 Go Deeper
Matthew 12:32; Proverbs 8:30-31; Acts 5:32

🔊 Speak
Dear Holy Spirit, I acknowledge your ministry and presence in my life, as you guide me to know and walk in the realities of the Kingdom of God. I follow as you lead me to fulfil my destiny in Christ. SHINE EVER SO BRIGHTLY (God’s Word Makes You Luminous)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Psalm 119:130 “The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
I ’ll like you to observe what the entrance of God’s words brings: “light.” The Hebrew word translated “light” in the opening verse is “‘o‌r,” and it means to make luminous or lambent; to shine, to be glorious, to kindle or to set on fire. It also alludes to coming from the dark nights and breaking into a new day.

Therefore, what this verse is saying is that the entrance of God’s Word into your heart will make you luminous or shine; your life will be like the dawning of the morning and glorious. Hallelujah! Observe that I didn’t say the entrance of the Word will illuminate you but that it’ll make you luminous. Even though these two words are often used in related contexts, they have distinct meanings and connotations.

To illuminate something means to shine light on it and to make it brighter and more visible. It also means to enlighten or provide light to. That’s different from being luminous which means to emit light, to be radiant or shiny, or to be glowing and effulgent.

When something is described as luminous, it means it has the quality of producing or reflecting light. The entrance of the Word makes you glow; you become a burning and a shining light—you produce from within you such brightness, radiance and brilliance of the Spirit!

It brings to mind the Lord’s testimony of John the Baptist whom He described in John 5:35 as a burning and a shining light: “He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light” (KJV). Let the Word get into you; feed on the Word; it’ll shine through you.

🎯 Go Deeper

🔊 Pray
Dear Father, your Word is the true light that lights my heart. Through diligent study and constant meditation on the Word, my heart is flooded with light and I shine forth with such intensity, glowing ever so brightly, radiating your goodness and exhibiting your kindness and graciousness to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

KEEP YOUR HEART GATES SECURE (Mount Guard Over Your Heart)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 4:23 “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
“You’ve been complaining about nightmares, Jerry, yet you persist in watching these disturbing things on your phone,” Jerry’s mum stated firmly.

“No, Mum; these are just harmless movies and music videos,” Jerry argued naively.

“Jerry, what you see and hear ultimately affects your heart. If you want to safeguard your heart, you need to be mindful of what you expose your eyes and ears to.”

The word ‘keep’ in the opening scripture doesn’t mean to hide something. The Hebrew word is “na‌tsar,” and it gives the picture of a stronghold mounted over something valuable. Thus, you’re to mount guard over your heart; keep your heart sanctified with the Word. The reason the Bible places a premium on mounting a guard over your heart—maintaining a perfect heart—is that out of it are the issues of life. Everything flows from your heart. In other words, everything you need for life is actually in your heart right now.

Everywhere you would ever go, everything you would ever have, and everything you’d ever enjoy in this world is in your heart. The Bible says He has set eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The Kingdom of God is in our hearts (Luke 17:21). What, then, are you supposed to do? Fill your heart with the Word so only good will always come forth from your heart.

Never let anything unwholesome take root in your heart. Pride, anger, malice, bitterness, and hatred—these are poisonous to the heart. Philippians 4:8 gives us an idea of what God wants you to fill your heart with: things that are honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous, and praiseworthy. Nothing meets this qualification better than God’s Word. That’s why you must allow the Word of God to dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16).

JOINT-HEIRS NOT CO-HEIRS (You’ve Got Equal Ownership With Jesus)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Romans 8:16-17 “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
“Jayden, why do you keep saying, “I am a co-heir with Christ Jesus; you’re a joint-heir not co-heir.”

“Thank you, Marc, for pointing out the difference to me. I am a joint-heir with Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!”

Some Bible translators struggled in trying to interpret correctly the message conveyed by the apostle Paul in our opening scripture, particularly when he referred to Christians as “joint-heirs” with Christ. This concept challenged their existing theological frameworks, prompting some to opt for translating it as “co-heirs” rather than sticking with the original Greek term “sugkle‌ronomos,” meaning joint-heirs.

So, what’s the difference? A “co-heir” shares in the inheritance but not in joint-ownership. Unlike co-heirs, jointheirs own the inheritance jointly with undivided interest; they have equal rights to the entire inheritance. Let’s put it this way: while co-heirs can share it thirty-seventy or sixty-forty, or some other relevant fractions, the case with joint heirship is that, no one gets anything without the other; they have equal ownership over the whole hundred percent.

To be a joint-heir with Christ means everything that belongs to Him belongs to you, in the same way and degree that it belongs to Him. No wonder the Word declares that in Christ, all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). Praise God! How can you know this and be limited in life?

Nothing should limit you, absolutely nothing! Nothing should get you hemmed in financially because you’re an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. Think about what He owns, then you’ll know how limitless and unsearchable your riches and resources are. You have all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Therefore, lift your head above the clouds, and think like God; live a limitless life.

SATAN COMES IMMEDIATELY (Drive God’s Word Deep Into Your Heart And It Will Prevail)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Mark 4:14-15 “The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
In the passages Matthew 13:1-23, Mark 4:1-20, and Luke 8:4–15, there’s a story Jesus illustrates and teaches spiritual lessons with; it’s called the parable of the sower. It’s a pretty intriguing story about seeds that were sown on different kinds of soil and what happened next.

Explaining the moral of the story, Jesus said the seeds that landed on the path symbolised people who hear the Word of God but can’t quite grasp it. That’s when Satan swoops in, snatching the Word away from their hearts (Mark 4:14–15). Basically, Satan’s on the lookout for the Word.

Whenever the Word of God comes your way, Satan tags along. Recall that the first time the Word of God came to Jesus openly, Satan came also. In Matthew 3:17, God said from heaven, “…This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Immediately, Satan also came and tempted Jesus, saying, “…If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread” (Matthew 4:3). He challenged the Word that came to Jesus. However, the Lord responded with the Word, saying, “…It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Jesus hit him back with Scripture!

When the Word comes to you about the glory or power of God for your life and future, receive it with your spirit, and through meditation, drive it deep into your heart. Refuse to allow Satan to steal or take the Word away from you: he will try to throw his darts at you like missiles but do exactly what Jesus did: respond with the Word! The Word of God in your mouth is the sword of the Spirit that cuts the adversary in pieces, discomfits his agenda, and shatters his strategies. Hallelujah!

A UNIQUE ASSIGNMENT (Embrace The Call Of God On Your Life)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Acts 26:16 “...Rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
“I’m here for a reason, born for such a time as this, and I’m fulfilling my assignment.” Janet mused as she walked to class that faithful morning.

There are billions of people on earth today, and no two fingerprints are alike in the whole world. We’re all uniquely gifted, blessed, and called by God. So, let your joy be in fulfilling the calling that God has given you. You’re on a unique assignment; stay in the grace that God gave you, as no one can do it exactly like you.

Think about Paul. He was an apostle to the Gentiles; that wasn’t something fashionable in his day, but he celebrated his unique assignment. He said in Romans 11:13, “…I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office” (KJV). It’s like Joshua too; he understood that his assignment was unique from that of Moses. God had earlier told Moses, “I want you to bring my people out of Egypt” (Exodus 3:7- 10). Moses brought them out of captivity in Egypt all right, but it was Joshua who took the children of Israel into the land of promise and divided it for their inheritance (Joshua 1:2-6).

Have you established your unique assignment in that country, city, town, village, neighbourhood, or school? Don’t think you’re there, just like everyone else, to do the same things they’re all doing. Understand that you’re on a unique assignment; fulfil your purpose with poise!

Dear Father, I’m immensely grateful and excited about the uniqueness of my assignments on earth. THE GRACE ADVANTAGE (His Grace Sets You Apart)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Corinthians 9:8 “…God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
We just read that God is able to make all grace—every favour and earthly blessing—come to you in abundance. Grace sets you apart. It brings you acceptability, honour, dignity, liberality and kindness.

It attracts to you the right people, circumstances, and resources that are in line with God’s purpose for your life. It grants you preferential treatment everywhere you go!

Therefore, you ought to thank the Lord every day for His grace at work in your life. According to the opening verse above, God makes this grace abound towards you. He directs it towards you in abundance.

Even now, say out loud, “I walk and function in divine grace that differentiates me in the world and sets me apart for glory and excellence. I’m a child of grace.” Hallelujah!

The Bible says in 2 Timothy 2:1, “…Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” Take advantage of His grace.

Read 2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC and see the will of God for your life and the result of His grace at work in you: “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].” Glory be to God!

IN THE NAME OF JESUS! (His Name Changes Everything)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Mark 16:17-18 “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
God placed all authority in the Name of Jesus (Philippians 2:9-10). His Name has the greatest honour and the greatest authority. It doesn’t matter what might have plagued you; it doesn’t matter for how long you’ve been under or on the sidewalk of life; your victory is guaranteed in His Name.

What you have to do is live your life with the consciousness of the power, glory, and dominion of the Name of Jesus. When you do this, you won’t struggle with some health troubles; your life will be an unending stream of victories, blessings, and the supernatural. You’ll have no consciousness of need because the power and glory of His Name make all things right with you and work for you.

If you’d learn to use the Name of Jesus in your life and in everything you do, you’d be amazed at the extraordinary blessings you’d experience every day. His Name is an instrument, a great blessing for us in the New Testament. The Word tells us to use the Name of Jesus in all things (Colossians 3:17).

What many have lacked is the consciousness of the power and authority of His Name. When you make demands in His Name, He sees to it that they happen (John 14:14). When someone is sick in your home, for example, take charge and declare, “In the Name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke the pain; I rebuke the affliction!” Mention the sickness and command it to go! He told us to heal the sick, so it’s our responsibility to do it in His Name; and His Name never fails!
