THE FRUIT OF HIS REDEMPTIVE WORK (As a Christian, You’re the Product of Christ’s Resurrection)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Romans 6:4 ESV “We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Many don’t realise this, but Christianity isn’t only about redemption or salvation from sin. If that were the case, there wouldn’t have been any need for Jesus to rise from the dead. His death on the Cross would have been enough since it paid for all sins and guaranteed complete propitiation (His blood sacrifice which satisfied the righteous demands of justice for the sins of all mankind). But that’s redemption and not Christianity; redemption refers to saving someone by paying a price. So, when Jesus died, He paid the price for man’s redemption with His own life; He did that for all humanity, not just for Christians.
The Christian is the result of Christ’s resurrection, not His death. This should make it clearer: when Jesus hung on the Cross, in the mind of God, every human person was hanging on the Cross too (in Him), for He was our substitute. When He cried out, “It is finished!!!” and gave up the ghost, we also died in Him. Now, when He came out of the grave, we all also resurrected in Him, Hallelujah!
The resurrection of Jesus Christ gave us something far beyond redemption; it ushered us into a newness of life. We’ve been raised up together with Christ (Ephesians 2:6). Romans 10:9 lets us know that salvation comes by believing in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and the subsequent confession of His Lordship. A Christian, therefore, is one who identifies with the resurrected Christ. Thus, just as Christ was raised from the dead into a newness of life, the Christian has no past.
That’s why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new,” meaning that he is a new species, one that never existed before. Being born again, therefore, you are the fruit of the redemptive work of Christ. Redemption was consummated with His death, but Christianity came from His resurrection, Hallelujah!

Just as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, I also have been raised into a newness of life to walk therein. JESUS IS GOD (He Is The Embodiment Of The Godhead)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
1 Timothy 3:16 AMPC “…Great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
“Oh my, Jesus Christ is God!” Justus said aloud to himself as he read a tract presented to him by a lady on his street. Prior to this time, he never gave any thought to this truth—that Jesus is Himself God. There’re some, like Justus, who due to lack of understanding of the Scriptures are confused about the deity of Jesus. Yet the Scriptures are unambiguous about it. Even the portion we just read in our opening verse leaves no one in doubt as to the fact that the one being referred to as God is Jesus.
Others have also asked, “If Jesus is God, how can He set Himself at His own right hand in the heavenly places as stated in Ephesians 1:19-20?” First, you have to understand the extraordinary nature of God in which He’s able to manifest Himself in different ways; it’s the mystery of His nature.
The Bible tells us about the divine nature of the Godhead in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; one God manifest in three separate persons. We’re never going to see three Gods in Heaven or three thrones with the Father sitting on one, the Son on another and then the Holy Spirit on the third one; no! It’s only Jesus because in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily! (Colossians 2:9).
Colossians 1:19 says, “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell.” Recall that at the baptism of Jesus, as He came out of the water, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on Him. Simultaneously, a voice spoke from Heaven and said, “...This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17). What an extraordinary manifestation of the three persons: The Son is baptised in water, and right away He’s filled with the Holy Spirit, and the Father speaks from Heaven!
The first time the angels saw God Almighty in a body was when Jesus was born in Bethlehem. The Bible says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us...” (John 1:14). God became flesh and dwelt among us, and yet His presence and His voice would speak from Heaven. Amazing!

THE REASON HE CAME (He Came To Give You Life To The Fullest)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 10:10 AMPC “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
▶️ LET’S TALK
Our opening verse is super encouraging and energising. It says clearly that Jesus came so you can have and enjoy life to the fullest. Think about that for a moment: He came and gave up His life so you can live an amazing, overflowing life. That’s His plan, and He doesn’t want anything to take that away from you.
This is different from what religion teaches (by the way, Christianity is not a religion). In some religions, the people are told they have to sacrifice themselves to make God happy. But in Christ, it’s the opposite. He sacrificed Himself for you. He gave His life so you could have His life.
The Bible says, “...God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). In 1 John 3:16, the Apostle John says, “We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters” (NASB). Thank God, after He laid down His life for us, He was raised back to life so we could be made right with God. Because of this, you can have and enjoy life to the fullest, till it overflows.
It might be hard for some people to believe that He came for them to have a great life, especially if they’ve had a tough time for a long while. Others might wonder if it’s possible to enjoy life while dealing with sickness, pain, or weakness.
The answer is clear—no! But that’s exactly why Jesus gave us His life, which is immune to sickness and disease. 1 John 5:11-12 says, “...God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” You have that life now; it’s God’s life. Enjoy it!
Your heavenly Father loves seeing you healthy, energetic, strong, joyful, and full of life. So, embrace His plan for you to have and enjoy life to the fullest. Be filled with joy as you think about the glorious, powerful, abundant, and peaceful life He’s given you in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

WHAT GLORIOUS NEWS! (Jesus Made Fellowship With God A Reality)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Ephesians 2:14-15 NIV “For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
The Lord Jesus came to bring us into fellowship with God. He came to establish an intimate relationship—a oneness—between God and man so that man could truly know God. And He achieved it! In Christ Jesus, eternal life—the very life and nature of God—has been imparted to our spirits. In John 10:10 (NIV), Jesus declared, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
This abundant life is what you received when you accepted Jesus as Lord of your life. Colossians 3:4 tells us that Christ is your life. What a glorious gospel! Now, Jesus Christ isn’t only the Lord of your life, but also the One in and by whom you’ve found rich and deep fellowship: “That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ” (1 John 1:3).
1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” This fellowship is what God had always wanted with man, and Jesus made it a reality! This is what He wants us to preach and teach around the world. He said in Mark 16:15, “... Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” He wants us to let the world know that a relationship with Almighty God is possible, that righteousness is possible and available. All it takes is to believe, for “...whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:15). Hallelujah!

FULL AND COMPLETE (You’re As Completely Full Of God As Jesus Is)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Colossians 2:9-10 “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Some think of Jesus Christ as just a man or even a mighty prophet, but He is Himself God; the totality of divinity resides in Jesus Christ. When you see Jesus, you’re looking at the fullness of the God-head; He’s the house of God in totality. When we get to heaven, we wouldn’t be searching for God because He is completely encapsulated in Jesus. Hallelujah!
“Fullness” in our opening scripture means “a completeness” where nothing necessary is missing; there’s no shortage; it’s a perfect completion. Something most impressive about this is what we read in the latter part: “You’re complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Oh glory to God! How beautiful it is to know that when God looks at you, He sees you complete, lacking nothing necessary for life and godliness.
Just as there’s nothing of God lacking in Jesus, there’s nothing of the Master lacking in you. The Master never had a sense of lack because He knew the world and everything in it belongs to Him. You also must walk in the mentality of abundance because you lack nothing. You have all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
This is the reality. Therefore, refuse to live with a lack mentality as though there’re certain things you don’t have.Take off the limits. Become totally inundated with this consciousness, and see your life blossom in righteousness, glory, and wisdom beyond your imagination. Hallelujah!

CHRIST IS YOUR LIGHT! (In Him You Have The Light of Life)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
JOHN 8:12 “… ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’ ”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Consider carefully the profound words of the Master in our opening scripture. He unequivocally stated that He is the light of the world. Again, in John 9:5, He declared, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world!” Light defines; it gives direction and beauty, and it illumines. So, for anyone to live without Christ is to live in gross darkness, utter hopelessness, confusion, and ugliness.
How important it is to have the light of Christ! You can’t even know yourself outside of Him because it’s only under His light that your true identity is revealed. The Bible says He is the Fountain of life, and our light is from His light (Psalm 36:9 TLB); He is the true light that illumines every person (John 1:9 AMPC), Hallelujah! If you use the world’s “lights” to define your life, you’ll be in trouble because you’re sure to see the wrong things. But in Christ, you see the glory of God. You see that you’re excellent and full of glory. His light shows you who you are, what you have, and your abilities in Christ.
The Psalmist said in Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Christ and His Word are one. This means His Word is the light. Apart from showing you your endowments and blessings in Christ, the Word guides you in God’s perfect will for your life, imparting to you the wisdom to fulfil it. Through His Word, you receive guidance as to specific details about your life, family, ministry, finances, academics, etc., and definite steps to take in actualising your set goals. The Bible says Christ has been made unto us wisdom from God (1 Corinthians 1:30). Become more conscious of this, and you’ll function with greater insight and knowledge, walking in success, health, prosperity, peace, and strength always!

SPREAD HIS TRUTH (Make The Truth Of The Gospel Known)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
In these last days, the strategy of the enemy is to destroy many with fear and deception. But the way to tackle and cure the effects of deception is to make the truth known. That’s why we’re so grateful to God for this devotional. Through it, we’re making the truth known every day, in every nation and in every known living language of the world. Become a part of the great crusade of spreading the truth to the nooks and crannies of the earth through the distribution of Rhapsody of Realities in all languages of the world to all nations.
God wants to protect His people. He wants to guide and lead them, and He does this through His Word and His Holy Spirit. Let’s make His truth known. When people don’t know the Word of God, they get deceived, robbed, and destroyed. Remember, God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” (Hosea 4:6).
Not only should you consciously increase in your knowledge of God, help others to know the Word also. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19 KJV, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations....” In other words, teach them the truth; show them how to live so they’re not deceived. Anyone who’s ignorant of the Word of God is in darkness because the Word of God is truth and light.
It’s the same for anyone who’s destitute of the Holy Spirit, for the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. He’s the One who guides you into all truth. His truth (His Word) is your shield and buckler (Psalm 91:4). That’s why you need to have your attention on the Word and be filled with the Spirit always. Glory to God!

DIVINITY REHEARSED TO US (Jesus Revealed The Divine Life To Us)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 1:18 AMPC “No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].”
▶️ LET’S TALK
The word “declared” in our theme scripture today is quite instructive. It originates from the Greek term “exegeomai,” which isn’t just a mere declaration but the rehearsing or unfolding of a thing. In essence, Jesus rehearsed divinity to us. He came to reveal God in a way we could relate to and understand.
Jesus came to show us the Father’s love, character, and will. He said in John 14:9, “...He who has seen Me has seen the Father”—a claim only the One who was God in the flesh could make. His life is a living testament, a vivid portrayal of the Kingdom’s principles and the divine way of living. This profound truth is why the Bible instructs us to follow in His footsteps, for He has given us an example to emulate. 1 Peter 2:21 AMPC underscores this beautifully: “…Christ also suffered for you, leaving you [His personal] example, so that you should follow in His footsteps.”
Ephesians 5:1-2 also says, “Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God” (NIV). We’re called to be imitators of God, but how can we imitate God when we haven’t seen Him? Well, Jesus made it possible! Now we can manifest the Father’s love, His righteousness, mercy, compassion, and grace because that’s what Jesus did when He walked the earth. We have the life of Christ in us, and His love is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5).

SOAR ABOVE THE STORM (You’re Not Subject To This World’s Laws And Principles)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Colossians 2:20 “Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations?”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Our opening verse lets us know that we’re not subject to the principles of this world. Jesus dominated this world; He lived above the decadence of the world and the corruption and failure of His society. He lived far above and beyond the government and systems of the day when He walked the earth. That’s the life He’s given us: one that’s not subject to, but dominates the rudiments of this world.
He’s made us to function above and beyond the systems of this world. He said you’re in the world but not of the world. That means you’re to dominate the world. Many around you may be influenced and provoked to compromise due to the deceit, corruption, and wickedness in today’s world, but not you! You hail from God’s Kingdom, and your life is built on, and regulated by, His truth only.
Keep learning God’s Word. It’ll make you think and talk like Jesus. In John 16:33, He said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Have the same consciousness because He overcame the world for you. Although He lived in a world plagued by gross darkness, deceit, economic hardships, sickness, oppression, deaths, disasters, etc., He had a victor’s mindset, the kind He expects you to function with.
When you face challenges, persecutions, distressing situations, turbulent times, trials, and temptations, be unruffled because in Christ you have overcome the world (1 John 4:4). Let this consciousness reflect even in your prayer language. It makes no difference the challenges you face; when you pray, declare that in the Name of Jesus, you’ve overcome the world and its systems, hatred, deceit, poverty, corruption, depression, falsehood, and antichrist spirit. Hallelujah!

IT’S SECOND NATURE! (Living Triumphantly Every Day Is Your Birthright)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Psalm 1:3 “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
As a child of God, you’re called to live each day of your life in glory and in victory over every situation. You’re marked for success. The triumphant life is your birthright because God has raised you up from the dead and made you sit together with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:5-6).
You’re seated far above the devil and the cohorts of darkness and the negative influences of this world. Nothing in this world can successfully stand against you, for “…greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Therefore have the mentality that you can’t be defeated or disadvantaged. You’ve been translated into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son, who leads you in the triumphal excursions of life.
What a life He’s given us! Take a moment to think about the words in our opening verse again; The same truth is expressed in John 15:16 where the Lord Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” Jesus brought us into a life of power, fruitfulness and productivity. All these are natural with you now; they are your default setting, glory to God.
Christ has become your “able-to-do-it-ness.” This means He has made you efficient and effective; it’s one of the beautiful results of having the Holy Spirit in your life. Acts 1:8 AMPC says, “But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you....” Approach everything you do with this mindset.

COUNT NO ONE OUT (Pray For Every One You Know)
👤 Pastor Chris
📖 TO THE BIBLE
1 Timothy 2:1-2 MSG “The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well....”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Many times when people who have done some really heinous things that defy explanation are asked the motive for their actions, they would say they heard a voice or felt “something” pressurizing them to do what they did. That’s the influence of demons! Sometimes, people are possessed by demon spirits who influence them to carry out such despicable acts.
That’s why God tells us to pray for people so they wouldn’t come under such evil influences. The Bible tells us in Luke 22:3 that Satan entered into Judas Iscariot. When that happened, he left where Jesus and the other disciples were and went to the chief priest to betray the Son of God!
When Judas saw Jesus hanging on the Cross, he thought Jesus would miraculously deliver Himself, but He didn’t. Matthew 27:3-5 tells us, “When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and the elders…So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.” What does that tell you? Satan caused him to do it.
This is what is happening with some people today; they’re taking steps that are harmful to their lives, families, businesses, and relationships. If you know anyone like this, take some time to pray for them that they’ll have the will, desire, and boldness to do what’s right and refuse to yield to every corrupting and negative influence. Most importantly, pray for their salvation if they are not born again.
