In Telegram Beta for Android v12.10.0, bots have received a new button for stopping message generation in a chat.
The message being generated must include can_stop, which allows the user to stop its generation and move on to something else.

The forwarding restriction has been removed from Ephemeral Messages.
In the next update, v12.10.0, you will be able to forward them to any chat. This message will be forwarded as a regular message. However, reactions to these messages are still not available.

Create link buttons using the Rich Messages editor. To create a button in your text, select the required fragment and scroll the bottom toolbar all the way to the end.
Available button types include Link, Copy, and Profile (add a link to the corresponding user or bot).

Welcome Ephemeral Messages can also be configured in channels.
After joining a channel, the user will be shown an ephemeral welcome message. The video only demonstrates an example of how this may look.

Bots will be able to send Welcome Ephemeral Messages to users who join a group. These messages will be sent anonymously on behalf of the group's owner, rather than the bot itself.

💬 Comments for NFT Gifts. When transferring an NFT Gift to another user, you will be able to leave an additional comment with it. The comment can be either public or private.
When other users view this gifted NFT with a comment on your profile, they will be able to see who sent the gift.
In short, it’s essentially like leaving a personal note on someone’s profile using an NFT Gift, rather than the regular comments currently available on NFT Gifts.
The feature is not fully implemented yet, so I can't provide a video showing how it works.

📌 More details about the new buttons in text using the Rich Editor.
Before creating a button, you can add Premium Emoji. After creating the button, you can customize it by changing its color by tapping the button in the editor.
Available colors are blue, red, and green, as well as a fully filled blue style. To edit the button's content, press and hold it.
You can also turn an emoji into a button — for example, the long cat emoji.
There are 3 types of buttons:
→ Link - a button with a link.
→ Copy - a button containing content that can be copied.
→ Profile - a button linking to a user or bot. When selecting a user or bot, your chat list opens, allowing you to choose the appropriate one.

🏆 On the test server, testing of the gift distribution system for IOAI 2026 participants has begun.
From what I've noticed:
→ These gifts do not appear on the internal market.
→ The gift is sent to the user in its non-upgraded form. The user can upgrade it to an NFT later or leave it as it is.
→ Gift numbers will be assigned to specific participants, similar to how it worked during the gift auction.
→ Gift models will likely be tied to a specific collection number.
→ The gift Value is likely determined by the model. For example, a gift with the Gold model is worth 70,000 Stars, while a gift with the Bronze model is worth 20,000 Stars.

Clarification regarding ephemeral messages in channels and groups.
There are two types of messages: Unanchored and Anchored.
× Unanchored (shown in the first screenshot) creates a separate ephemeral message in the channel. It can be deleted manually or will disappear after some time.
× Anchored (shown in the second screenshot) replaces the original message with an ephemeral one. By pressing and holding the message and tapping «Revert», you can restore the original message.

Although I'm not a fan of Telegram Gifts and it's not really my area, this situation doesn't seem very ethical to me from the server developers' side.

I contacted Apple Support to find out why Telegram disappeared from the App Store.
According to the support representative, Telegram is still present in Apple's internal systems and is not marked as removed. They suggested that the app may have been temporarily hidden by the developer, as it still exists within Apple's infrastructure.

👋 In the new Telegram Beta for iOS v12.9.3 (34550), Welcome Messages have been added to groups. These are ephemeral messages shown to users after they join a group.
As for the limits, the production server currently allows up to 3 Welcome Messages per user, while the test server supports up to 5.

💎 Telegram Beta for iOS v12.9.3 (34530) begins integrating a built-in TON (Gram) wallet into the app.
A new MTProto layer for TON has also appeared. It routes requests to TON Center through Telegram's servers, with responses returned to the client as JSON.
Unlike the current Wallet, which operates as a Mini App, the upcoming TON (Gram) wallet will be integrated directly into the Telegram client.
