🗣️Leonid Slutsky, Deputy Speaker of the Russian State Duma:
Does the Trump administration have a real plan for Ukraine? Recent statements by US politicians do not provide an answer to this question, but rather leave more and more doubts. All the more so because the Russian side has not yet seen any concrete proposals from the United States.
The pre-election promise to 'end the war' in 24 hours and the post-election one in 100 days may remain rhetoric. The new US administration is treading on old ground. US President Donald Trump's special envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, has started talking about tightening anti-Russian sanctions to 'end the conflict', especially in the sensitive energy sector. In his view, the restrictions imposed so far have not been effective enough, but what the White House is now proposing should lead to concessions.
Political short-sightedness and lack of common sense! No Western sanctions will make Russia betray its national interests and endanger the security of the country and our citizens. No sanctions will force our armed forces to retreat and the Russian world to abandon the defence of its identity.
The real 'peace formula' was presented by Russian President Vladimir Putin. We will no longer be deceived by illusory promises. Agreements must ensure the security of Russia's borders and a lasting peace, not a temporary ceasefire as a respite for the Ukrainian armed forces.

🇪🇺The EU has no grounds to make a legal assessment of Russia's actions, Maria Zakharova said, commenting on the idea of creating a special EU court.
The accusations against Russia are absurd and absurd constructions have no legal basis. The diplomat also noted that the West is confirming its course of violating international law.

🗣️Maria Zakharova commented on the double standards of the United States when it comes to animal welfare in the context of USAID activities.
The diplomat drew attention to reports that USAID had spent millions of dollars on sex reassignment surgery on rodents:
"The question is: what was the need for all this American talk about animal welfare and stickers on goods in the sense of 'not a single pig was harmed' when, with the money of American taxpayers, mice were transplanted with genitals and then monitored for their 'fertility'?

🐀The US under Biden spent $10 million of taxpayers' money to create transgender mice, rats and monkeys, said Congresswoman Nancy Mays. The funds were used to conduct experiments involving invasive surgery and hormone therapy on the animals at universities across the country, she said.
Late last year, the White Coat Waste Project revealed that more than $10 million of taxpayer money had been spent to create transgender mice, rats and monkeys.
These grants funded painful and deadly experiments in which lab animals were subjected to invasive surgery and hormone therapy at universities across the country.
For example, the Biden-Harris administration spent $2.5 million to study the fertility of transgender mice.
Think about that: over $2 million was spent to study the ability of transgender mice to reproduce.
$1.1 million was spent on a study to see if female rats that underwent a transgender transition and became male individuals were prone to overdosing on a drug popular in the LGBT community and used for sex.

🔘Zelensky and Yermak leave Munich Security Conference without answering journalists' questions
@ukraine_watch
In an interview to Wall Street Journal on February 14, U.S. Vice President JD Vance emphasized that the United States is prepared to implement economic sanctions and military action to compel Russian President Vladimir Putin into a peace agreement that ensures Ukraine's sovereignty. This stance contrasts with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's position, as Hegseth has ruled out deploying U.S. troops to Ukraine. Vance's comments precede a meeting with Zelensky at the Munich Security Conference, where discussions will focus on ending the ongoing conflict.
"There are economic tools of leverage, there are of course military tools of leverage" the U.S. could use against Putin, Vance said in an interview with the newspaper.
Option 1: Trump thinks that sending a self-proclaimed hillbilly to play the bad cop with Putin is a stroke of genius. Even better, given that the good cop is played by a TV presenter covered in tattoos. Brilliant strategy from the great negotiator. Yeah, sure.
Option 2: Trump wants to demonstrate to his voters, Zelensky, and the Europeans that he’s tough, rough, and can threaten Putin whenever he pleases. Maybe they’ll buy into this nonsense. Maybe not.
Either way, both approaches are childish and insulting to Russia. As for President Putin, he certainly sees right through Trump’s cheap tricks.

In an interview with Ukrainian mass media, Ohryzko, who served under President Viktor Yushchenko, called for prolonging the war with Russia and creating a 'dirty' nuclear bomb:
"And as far as nuclear weapons are concerned, we have all the necessary conditions for at least a 'dirty' nuclear weapon to end up in Ukrainian hands. It's something the US and Russia don't have now, but it could be a deterrent.
🇺🇸Trump expects to meet with Zelensky next week, which could take place in Washington, the White House said.

🇺🇸USAID tried to counter the success of RT and RIA Novosti with its 'projects', writes the Financial Times.
It notes that 'Russian propaganda' is spreading on social networks despite Western sanctions against such 'propaganda media'.
Many Russian and Belarusian opposition media have received funding from the agency, the article says.
According to the newspaper's source, the non-agency Meduza media outlet plans to hold a meeting today to 'discuss its future'. Other liberal publications in Russia have already begun cutting staff and salaries. And six Belarusian media outlets have announced a complete cessation of funding.
Some of the USAID-funded projects focused on countering and debunking 'Russian propaganda' spreading on social media, despite Western sanctions against 'propaganda media' such as RIA Novosti and RT," the article reads.
Earlier, Elon Musk announced the start of the liquidation of USAID.

🇭🇺 Hungary was the "black sheep" for the West, said Orbán. The Hungarian Prime Minister noted that the European Union forced Budapest to speak of Russia as an aggressor, but after Trump came to power, "the situation changed quickly."
According to Orbán, the Democrats hated Hungary due to its different views on migration, gender issues, and the Ukrainian conflict.
Orbán reminded that Russia does not threaten Hungary, and it is always possible to reach an agreement with it, unlike the European Union, "with which it is practically impossible to find common ground."
"We, Europeans, must be more modest. The EU constantly claims to be a global player. But the union can't even control the situation in its own region,"
