Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) today released internal records from the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) revealing HHS knowingly sent two unaccompanied migrant children to a household with established connections to the violent MS-13 gang. Grassley is also making public the referral he shared with federal law enforcement containing evidence of potential child trafficking facilitated by HHS’ Unaccompanied Children (UC) program. Grassley, a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and co-chair of the Senate Whistleblower Protection Caucus, acquired the records through legally protected whistleblower disclosures made by former HHS UC program staff.
“HHS, Congress and the American people must face the facts: HHS’ UC program has glaring defects that are harming innocent children,” Grassley said. “The records I’m releasing today are the kind the government fights tooth and nail to withhold from the public, and they ought to send a chill up every person’s spine. I’m not going to stop fighting until the UC program is fixed, and HHS and its contractors end their obstruction and fully respond to my oversight requests. I’m also doing everything in my power to ensure federal law enforcement leaves no stone unturned in the pursuit of justice for lost and abused unaccompanied kids.”

The Biden campaign reiterated in a new memo following the Republican National Convention that the president will be the Democratic nominee, even as the party remains embroiled in disagreement about the path forward. The memo also targeted Project 2025, which Donald Trump has disavowed.
“Joe Biden has made it more than clear: he’s in this race and he’s in it to win it. Moreover, he’s the presumptive nominee, there is no plan for an alternative nominee,” wrote Dan Kanninen, Biden campaign battleground states director in the memo, obtained by The Hill.

The woman who stole Ashley Biden's diary has begun her jail sentence early after she was allegedly caught speeding at 90mph while in possession of marijuana.
Aimee Harris, 42, was arrested Monday in McIntosh County, Georgia for driving with a suspended license, speeding, possession of an open container, possession of marijuana and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
She was taken into custody just one day before her scheduled voluntary surrender to begin her monthlong jail sentence for stealing a diary belonging to President Joe Biden's daughter in 2020.

BREAKING: AT&T has announced that the company believes a hacker stole records of calls and texts from nearly all of AT&T’s wireless customers, according to a financial filing from the company.
“The data does not contain the content of calls or texts, personal information such as Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or other personally identifiable information,” AT&T said in their statement released early Friday morning. “These records identify the telephone numbers with which an AT&T or MVNO wireless number interacted during these periods, including telephone numbers of AT&T wireline customers and customers of other carriers, counts of those interactions, and aggregate call duration for a day or month.”
AT&T says it has taken “additional cybersecurity measures” in response to this incident including closing off the point of unlawful access.
AT&T confirmed that it will provide notice to its current and former impacted customers.

A Jan. 6 defendant dubbed "Conan O'Riot" for his resemblance to comedian Conan O'Brien was sentenced this week to 75 days in federal prison for his role in the U.S. Capitol attack.
Derek Nelson, a former Marine, was arrested in October, over two years after he was first identified by online "sedition hunters" who have aided the FBI in hundreds of arrests of Jan. 6 defendants. Nelson pleaded guilty to a count of entering and remaining in a restricted building back in March.
Federal prosecutors had sought six months in prison for the 31-year-old Nelson, who entered the Capitol alongside his friend and fellow former Marine Derek Dodder, who told federal authorities that Nelson wore his Revolutionary War costume to be a “rabble rouser.”

The letter said there was a "serious possibility of tax fraud" and accused Thomas of having "secretly accepted gifts and income potentially worth millions of dollars."
The letter's appendix, which lists 35 undisclosed gifts, shows a "yacht trip to Russia and the Baltics" and a "helicopter ride to Yusupov Palace, St. Petersburg," both listed under the year 2003.
St. Petersburg, Russia, is Putin's birthplace and where he grew up. The president now resides in Moscow.
The appendix list is titled "Likely Undisclosed Gifts and Income from Harlan Crow and Affiliated Companies." Harlan Crow is a real-estate developer and the former chairman and CEO of the Trammell Crow Company.
