Hello beautiful people, hope you guys are all doing good. Today I am going to write about something light. I am a huge movie buff, and because of the pandemic and our unlimited free time, i had time to rewatch a lot of nostalgic movies, and let me tell you ,most of them did not age well. Yes, i do know they were made years ago and people thought differently back then, but i still thought i'd share some of my observations. For my horror, action, and science fiction loving girls this article is not about those genres. It's more for the ROMCOM lovers, the ones who were obsessed with " The devil wears Prada " , " Legally blonde, " 10 things I hate about you " or my personal all time favorite " clueless".
You get the gist right? I had a chance to re- watch those because A) they are a fun part of my childhood memory, and B) I had nothing to do. After some time I realized they all seem to share a common scene even though they all had different story lines, they all have that" makeover" scene. Its when the main character that we're all rooting for , the funny, kind, shy, and smart one for some reason has a huge
makeover on her appearance. The sad thing is when I was young, I loved those scenes or anxiously waited for those scenes because it was a norm for a female lead character to get a glow up. Yes, I'm sure the writers didn't have any bad messaging behind them. But it somehow highlights it's not enough to be smart, kind , or genuine, You need to look like the popular and hot girl in school.

Today I am going to write about something that is very disturbing, horrible and heart breaking happening right now in our country. As most of you have probably seen on social media there has been different reports coming out about some war crimes being committed around the northern region of our country. As you can imagine , It breaks my heart that woman and children are the one who have to shoulder extra pain and suffering in any horrible situation. War is an unimaginable and horrible experience by itself. But imagine the additional sexual assault , rape, and fear for their children's safety women are currently experiencing. You guys may have seen a man giving some kind of interview about the situation and the way he explained or understand it is out of this world. He is amazed that rape is being committed in day light in the capital city. Below is the report of what he's said.
At Friday’s meeting in Mekelle broadcast on ETV, a state TV channel, an unidentified man in Ethiopian military uniform spoke of repeated abuses against women.
“I was angry yesterday. Why does a woman get raped in Mekelle city? It wouldn’t be shocking if it happened during the war because it is not manageable and could be expected for such a thing to happen,” he said.
Look at him, normalizing and even " accepting " that rape is supposed to happen in war zone. He is shocked about the fact that it happened in Mekelle rather than that it happened. Special attention needs to be given to the safely of women in this kinds of situations because they are more vulnerable to Gender based violence attack. Let's all do our part in speaking up about it.

Of course some characters break through those stereotypes and go back to their old ways but it's not until their "crush " say...."noooo you were perfect the way you were, now you're like other girls" blah blah blah 😒😂..... After all it's ROMCOM right? Anyways we still love and continue to love those movie because they'll always remind us of our good old days.

እነዚህ የተጠቀሱትን የንጽህና መጠበቂያ ቁሳቁሶች ከውጭ ሲገቡ ደግሞ ቀድሞ ከነበረውን ከፍተኛ የታክስ ምጣኔ ከ30 በመቶ ዝቅ ተደርጎ ታክሱ 10 በመቶ ብቻ እንዲሆን ተወስኗል፡፡
በአሁኑ ወቅት በሀገራችን የሴቶች የወር አበባ ንጽህና መጠበቂያ (ሞዴስ) አምራች ኢንዱስትሪዎች 8 መሆናቸውን ከገንዘብ ሚኒስቴር ያገኘነው መረጃ ያሳያል።
