When the Stomach Becomes a Reflection of Hell: The Spiritual Dimension of Eating

● Can the stomach become a reflection of Hell?

According to a profound spiritual insight, the answer is yes—not because food itself is evil, but because insatiable desire can turn a basic human need into a form of enslavement.

Allah says in the Holy Qur’an:

“On the Day We will say to Hell, ‘Have you been filled?’ and it will say, ‘Are there any more?’”

(Qur’an 50:30)

In his book Sharh Maratib al-Taharah, Allamah Dawoud al-Samadi, commenting on the work of the mystic Allamah Hassan Zadeh Amoli, offers a striking reflection on this verse and the nature of human appetite.

He explains that one dimension of the descriptions of Hell is that its inhabitants continue to consume without ever reaching satisfaction.

The Qur’an describes their food as “neither nourishing nor satisfying hunger” (Qur’an 88:6–7).

Drawing a spiritual parallel, he writes that the stomach can become a reflection of Hell:

----- >>> No matter how much is placed inside it, it continues to demand more, always seeking something more delicious.

Yet, as he observes, the stomach itself is not necessarily to blame. It receives its portion of food and could be satisfied.

The real problem lies in our own insatiable attachment to eating, which refuses to allow the body to rest in contentment.

● Is this not one of the subtle battles of our age?

Modern consumer culture constantly encourages us to seek pleasure through food, turning eating into an endless preoccupation.

People may spend their days pursuing gratification, only to face the consequences of overeating in the form of excess weight, physical discomfort, and illness.

True freedom begins when we learn to govern our desires rather than become governed by them.

Eating should nourish the body, not consume our attention or become the centre of our lives.

Moderation is not deprivation; it is a path towards physical well-being, spiritual discipline, and gratitude for Allah’s blessings.

The Mecca Pact was conceived as an aggressive containment mechanism against Iran, a sort of counterpart to Europe-based NATO.

Yet, it has figured out the hard way that conspiring against Iran without assessing Tehran’s change in the regional balance of the political equation is a losing battle — and the Saudi and Pakistani arrival in the Islamic Republics for talks, from the framework of the very political framework designed to pressure and attack Iran, is now meeting Iranian officials to plead for help.

Khalid Bin Salman, the Saudi Defense Minister, and Ibrahim Kalin, Turkey’s Intelligence Minister, were in Tehran Monday ahead of increased tensions and the threat of war between the US-Israel and Iran. Just as in 2022, yet now faced with attacks of greater intensity and more precision, Saudi Arabia is also prompted to reach out to Tehran as its refineries come under nonstop fire from the Ansarallah.

Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey also want to avoid being looped into being full reinforcements of the US-Israeli war against Iran, which would both openly expose their complicity and collaboration with the occupying entity (kept relatively under wraps for now) and openly expose their countries to Iranian retaliation. These powers, who have long sought to champion themselves as the prestigious bastions of the Islamic world, want to avoid the fate and reputation of the Persian Gulf Arab sheikhdoms whose reward for being US launchpads for attacks on Iran was the destruction of the US occupation bases they hosted, the veneer of material prestige they touted, and the illusion of safety they formerly harbored.

Remember that all three Mecca Pact powers tried to pressure Iran before negotiations reached their current dead end. Terror groups, originating in Pakistan, executed an escalatory campaign of murdering IRGC forces, police, and security personnel in the Pakistani-adjacent Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchistan in the first two weeks of October. Saudi Arabia landed itself in its current predicament when it decided to attack an Iranian Mahan Airlines plane carrying Yemeni delegates returning from Iran to Yemen after attending the funeral of Sayyed Ali Khamenei. And Turkey has backed the escalated campaign of kidnappings and killings of Syrians against Jolani in Lebanon, sending a hostile message to Hezbollah, attempting to signal to the Resistance that it no longer has the upper hand in managing security in Lebanon (not unlike Israel’s own campaign of kidnappings of Lebanese undertaken in the last 2 years). At every turn, working through these countries, the US tries to undermine the very security that comes with Iran’s rearrangement of the regional security equation, though soon enough Washington’s bark will be louder than its bite.

This exposes a deeper contradiction at the heart of the Mecca Pact conundrum: an alliance formed to exclude, pressure, and encircle Iran now realizes it can’t solve its own problems without Iran.

As multiple reports signal a renewed round of war between the US/its proxies and Iran, the response and autonomy of regional resistance forces, to varying degrees, will also come into play as the Mecca Pact and Israel use pressure campaigns on Yemen & Lebanon as cards to play against Iran. Ansarallah in Yemen, as a testament to its control over its political and territorial integrity, will respond with escalatory measures, pressure, and its own conditions, regardless of what transpires from the Mecca Pact + Iranian consensus. Hezbollah in Lebanon may not enter the fray as a support front this time around, but it may serve as a litmus test for how far Iran’s rearranged security arrangement in the Persian Gulf radius extends into the Levant, with South Lebanon as the arena where these tensions and contestations manifest. Iraq, likewise, will be its own front where the question is whether US pressure can overcome changing material realities logistically and economically.

He was known for his devotion before he was widely known among people, and he ultimately attained martyrdom alongside Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

UPDATE AND CORRECTION: Not too long after the potential attempted hacking of my Telegram account, Christopher Helali himself somehow was able to get my Telegram info (not sure if my phone number or just username) and message me with a brief message explaining that he left JPA in October 2025 (totaling seven months at the firm) and that he only worked on their Moscow-related business.

That doesn't exactly absolve him of anything, because why would he work for a corrupt former Greek MP like Patsis (who comes from a pro-Zionist political party whose government put "israeli" spyware on the phones of journalists and opposition figures) in the first place? While there is no proof they had an office or activity in Moscow on their own website and their own press release about Helali describes his activities as being a general manager for "the Middle East and Asia," it would not absolve him even if it were true he only dealt with Russia, because the company he worked for is dirty and corrupt through and through, from its owner to its "israeli" spyware-linked partner.

AI search existed in early 2025. It would have only taken 15 minutes to search up JPA, Patsis, and the generally pro-Zionist New Democracy Party that Patsis was a part of, the "israeli" spyware scandal this party's Prime Minister Mitsotakis was involved with, and much more. He willingly chose to work for a company run by a corrupt, pro-Zionist Greek former MP. "Finding out" too late is no excuse. His face was on their press release about hiring him and he represented their brand name at the World Youth Festival in Russia in 2025. Labor boycotts are just as important as consumer boycotts.

No other information was clarified or corrected. Not the YPG. Not the text messages. Just the date in which he left JPA.

We present a full, comprehensive exposé on Helali and his circle with all concrete, verifiable evidence suggesting they are at least worthy of suspicion and further investigation before they are catapulted to the top of political (and now military) circles.

Our veteran readers are aware that Helali served in the Pentagon-backed Kurdish separatist militia known as the YPG in Syria in 2017 in an LGBT subunit and has not presented sufficient evidence of a genuine transformation and repentance for participating in the regime change war on Syria. JPA has a significant partnership with another law firm, D&V Law Firm, which is run by yet another corrupt former Greek government official named Grigoris Dimitriadis, who is the nephew of current Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and served as the general secretary of Mitsotakis' office before resigning due to the 2022 Predatorgate spyware scandal, which also led the head of Greek intelligence (EYP) to resign at the same time as well.

Predator was a spyware produced by Greek software company Intellexa, founded by former "israeli" military intelligence officer Tal Dilian, who testified that his company only sells to governments and government agencies (i.e. police, intelligence). The Noble Prophet’s Advice to His Beloved Daughter, Sayyedah Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her)

The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) is reported to have said to his beloved daughter, Sayyedah Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her):

“O Fatimah, there is no woman who grinds grain with her own hands without Allah recording a good deed for her for every grain and erasing a sin for every grain.

“O Fatimah, there is no woman who sweats while baking bread without Allah placing seven trenches of mercy between her and Hellfire.

“O Fatimah, there is no woman who washes her cooking pot without Allah cleansing her of sins and transgressions.

“O Fatimah, there is no woman who weaves a garment without Allah recording one hundred good deeds for her for every thread and erasing one hundred sins.

“O Fatimah, there is no woman who spins yarn to earn money to provide for her children or family without Allah granting her the reward of one who feeds a thousand hungry people and clothes a thousand people in need.

“O Fatimah, there is no woman who oils her children's heads, combs their hair, washes their clothes, and removes lice from them without Allah recording a good deed for her for every hair and erasing a sin for every hair, while adorning her in the eyes of all people.

“O Fatimah, there is no woman who denies her neighbour something she needs without Allah withholding from her the water of my Pool on the Day of Resurrection.

“O Fatimah, there are five essential household necessities that must not be withheld from others: water, fire, leaven, a millstone, and a needle. Each has its own consequence for the one who refuses to share it. Whoever withholds water may be afflicted with excessive thirst; whoever withholds leaven may be afflicted with a seizure; whoever withholds the millstone may suffer a splitting headache; and whoever withholds a needle may suffer abdominal pain.”

“O Fatimah, greater than all of this is the pleasure of Allah and a husband's satisfaction with his wife.

“O Fatimah, by the One Who sent me as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner, if you were to die while your husband was displeased with you, I would not perform the funeral prayer over you.

“O Fatimah, do you not know that a husband's satisfaction is connected to the pleasure of Allah, and his displeasure to the displeasure of Allah?

“O Fatimah, blessed is the woman with whom her husband is pleased, even if only for one hour of the day.

“O Fatimah, there is no woman with whom her husband remains pleased for a day and a night without her receiving from Allah a reward greater than that of one full year spent in worship, fasting by day, and standing in prayer by night.

“O Fatimah, there is no woman with whom her husband is pleased for even one hour of the day without Allah recording a good deed for every hair on her body and erasing a sin for every hair.

“O Fatimah, one of the greatest acts of worship for a woman during the darkness of the night is to remain devoted to her home.

“O Fatimah, a woman without a husband is like a house without a door, and a woman without a husband is like a tree without fruit.

“O Fatimah, sitting in the presence of one's husband is better than a year of worship and better than circumambulating the Kaaba.

“When a woman becomes pregnant, the angels in the heavens and the fish in the sea seek forgiveness for her. Allah records a thousand good deeds for her each day and erases a thousand sins.

“When the pains of childbirth begin, Allah grants her the reward of those who strive in His cause, the martyrs, and the righteous. She is cleansed of her sins as on the day her mother gave birth to her, and Allah records for her the reward of seventy pilgrimages to Hajj.

“When she breastfeeds her child, Allah records a good deed for every drop of her milk, expiates a sin for her, and the maidens of Paradise pray for her forgiveness in the Gardens of Bliss.

“O Fatimah, there is no woman who frowns at her husband without incurring the anger of Allah and the angels of punishment.

Modesty Is a Responsibility Shared by Men and Women

When we speak about the importance of women observing hijab, maintaining proper covering, and upholding modesty and chastity, we must never overlook the responsibilities that men also carry.

Modesty is not exclusively a woman’s duty; it is a moral obligation that concerns both men and women.

The narration of Abu Basir, who was teaching a woman to recite the Qur’an, offers an important lesson.

After joking with her, he was questioned by Imam Mohammad al-Baqir (peace be upon him), who instructed him not to return to her.

Abu Basir narrated:

“I was teaching a woman to recite the Qur’an, and I joked with her about something. Later, I went to Imam Abu Ja‘far (Imam Mohammad al-Baqir, peace be upon him), who asked me, ‘What did you say to the woman?’ I covered my face (out of embarrassment). He then said, ‘Do not return to her again…’”

This account reminds us that even seemingly harmless interactions can cross boundaries that a believer should be careful to respect.

A person’s conduct is not measured solely by what others do, but by the principles they choose to uphold.

Therefore, a man must exercise self-restraint, lower his gaze, speak respectfully, and avoid unnecessary familiarity or flirtatious joking with women who are not closely related to him.

His responsibility does not disappear simply because a woman may behave inappropriately.

Our scholars have emphasized the influential role women can play in shaping the moral atmosphere of society.

Yet acknowledging this influence must never become an excuse for men to neglect their own religious and ethical duties.

Even if a woman fails to observe the standards of modesty expected of her, a man remains accountable for his own choices.

Another person’s mistake does not grant us permission to make the same mistake.

Nor does someone else’s inappropriate behaviour justify abandoning the boundaries established by Islamic teachings.

True modesty begins with self-discipline; it is reflected in one’s gaze, words, intentions, and private interactions, long before it becomes visible in outward appearance.

A believer does not wait for everyone else to behave correctly before choosing what is right.

Rather, he remains faithful to the teachings of the Qur’an and the guidance of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), regardless of the conduct of those around him.

Ultimately, preserving chastity and dignity is a shared responsibility.

A healthier society is built when both men and women recognize their duties, respect one another, and seek the pleasure of Allah through their conduct.

Modesty is not merely about how others behave toward us; it is about how faithfully we choose to behave before Allah.

Sheikh al-Mufid and the Divine Confirmation of Imam al-Mahdi

One day, a group of followers of Sheikh al-Mufid (ra) came to him seeking a religious ruling on a particular matter.

They said to him:

“Our Sheikh, a pregnant woman has just passed away. Should we bury her with the unborn child, or should we cut open her abdomen, remove the child, and then bury her?”

Sheikh al-Mufid replied:

“Go and bury the woman with her unborn child.”

They accepted his ruling and departed.

However, after they had walked some distance away from his house, a young man came running after them, calling out:

“Stop! Stop!”

They asked him:

“What is the matter?”

He replied:

“Sheikh al-Mufid sends you his greetings and says that there has been a revision to the ruling. Open the woman’s abdomen from the side, remove the child, then stitch the wound, wash her, shroud her, and bury her.”

The group proceeded to carry out the instructions.

When they opened the woman’s abdomen, the child emerged alive.

Sheikh al-Mufid, however, knew nothing about this change, for he had previously instructed them to bury the woman with her child.

Some time later, an occasion arose at which Sheikh al-Mufid was present, and the same group approached him.

“Peace be upon you,” they said.

“And peace be upon you,” he replied.

“We are deeply grateful to you,” they told him.

“But why are you thanking me?” he asked.

“Do you not remember us?”

“No, I do not remember you. Who are you?”

They replied, “We are the people who came to you with the question about the deceased pregnant woman. Had it not been for your ruling, the woman and her unborn child would have been buried together. Our Sheikh, the child was born alive, and, by the grace of God, is still alive and well to this day.”

Sheikh al-Mufid was utterly astonished and deeply shaken.

He exclaimed:

“I never told you to open her abdomen!”

They answered:

“Our Sheikh, you sent someone after us who said, ‘Stop! Sheikh al-Mufid says to open her abdomen.’”

The Sheikh replied:

“When you came to me, there was no one else in my house!”

“But our Sheikh,” they insisted, “that man came and told us that you had said so.”

At that moment, Sheikh al-Mufid looked inwardly and declared:

“From this day onward, I shall relinquish my position as a religious authority and cease issuing religious rulings.”

He returned home weeping bitterly.

While he was in this state of distress, Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), came to him and said:

“O Mufid, return to your position of religious authority. Continue to guide the people, O Mufid! The rulings come from you, and the divine guidance and confirmation come from us.”

🤲 Let us begin this morning by praying for our families, our neighbours, the believers, and all those suffering throughout the world..

🕊️ As the morning begins, remember the beautiful relationship between the Prophet Muhammad, and his beloved daughter.

🌷 His visits to her home reflected affection, respect, and the honour he bestowed upon her.

🌹 Let us follow his example by greeting our families warmly, expressing our love, and making our presence a source of comfort rather than anxiety.

🏠 Look at the simplicity of the home of Fatimah and Imam Ali. Their household was not defined by luxury, expensive furniture, or worldly possessions, but by contentment, worship, and generosity.

🕯️📖 Let us remember that the beauty of a home lies not in what we own, but in the mercy, respect, and remembrance of Allah that fill it.

🤝 Let us also learn from their partnership in family life. The Prophet guided them in distributing household responsibilities, teaching cooperation and mutual respect.

🌼 Sayyedah Fatimah cared for the home, while Imam Ali undertook responsibilities outside it. Their example invites us to appreciate one another's efforts, fulfil our duties sincerely, and replace unnecessary arguments with kindness and understanding.

🍞🤲 Even when food was scarce, generosity remained alive in their hearts. The Qur'an praises those who feed the needy, the orphan, and the captive, despite their own need (76:8–9).

🌷 Let us offer what we can, welcome others with kindness, and never underestimate the value of a comforting word.

👩‍👦‍👦📚 In raising Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain, Sayyedah Fatimah nurtured a generation whose names became inseparable from courage, sacrifice, and loyalty to truth.

🌿 Let us educate our children through our own conduct, teaching them prayer, honesty, compassion, modesty, and devotion to Allah.

🥀 And when evening comes, let us remember her patience through the painful loss of her beloved father and the suffering she endured in her final days.

🌟🕊️ Her life reminds us that faith is not merely spoken; it is demonstrated through steadfastness when life becomes difficult.

Their elections are illegitimate since their whole entity is illegitimate. All their political parties are just different flavors of the same Satanic, racist psychosis.

They may try to deceive the public into thinking the Zionist regime underwent a makeover for them after their public image has been destroyed following three years of genocide and massacres, plus Epstein Island being a household name.

They will place all the blame onto Netanyahu, put a new face into office who will try to give the regime a "professional" face that will "turn a new leaf." But in reality, they will pursue the same policies, still kill and massacre the innocent, and seek to achieve all the same goals, but in a way that makes the people think that they aren't doing those things.

🗒During the meeting, Imam Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei described the Supreme National Security Council and its Secretariat as the “crossroads of policymaking” in the country’s affairs. He emphasized the interconnectedness of four areas—culture, politics, the economy, and security—and the need for decisions in each area to be accompanied by appropriate supporting measures.

🌿 In the Qur’anic language, fatā refers to a young person, often associated with courage and noble character.

🌿 Bulūgh signifies reaching maturity, while youth generally describes the stage of strength, growth, and possibility between childhood and old age.

🌿 Yet true youth is not measured only by years; it is measured by the strength of faith, purity of intention, and courage to stand for what is right.

📖 The Qur’an introduces us to inspiring young people.

🌿 The Companions of the Cave believed in Allah despite living in a corrupt society.

🌿 Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) courageously challenged idolatry in his youth.

🌿 Prophet Yusuf (peace be upon him) preserved his chastity when temptation surrounded him.

🌿 Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) demonstrated integrity and promptly helped those in need.

🌿 And Imam Ali (peace be upon him), while still young, displayed extraordinary loyalty and sacrifice when he slept in the Prophet’s bed on the night of the Hijrah, accepting danger to protect the Messenger of Allah.

⚠️ But the Qur’an also warns us!!

✨The son of Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) rejected his father’s guidance, while the brothers of Prophet Yusuf allowed envy to darken their hearts.

✨ Their stories remind us that noble family connections cannot replace righteous choices.

🌸 Accept sincere advice, control jealousy, and never allow pride to separate you from the truth.

🌷 And remember: chastity is an honour for both men and women.

⚡️Sayyedah Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) embodied modesty, dignity, worship, and devotion.

🌟 In a well-known tradition, she expressed concern that her body might be visible after her death and requested a funeral arrangement that would preserve her modesty.

💫 Even in martyrdom, her example reminds us that dignity is not a garment we wear for people; it is a value we carry before Allah.

💔 O Sayyedah Fatimah, how heavy is the sorrow of remembering your final days, your suffering, and your lonely farewell.

✨ May Allah grant us the courage of Prophet Ibrahim, the chastity of Prophet Yusuf, the generosity of Prophet Musa, the loyalty of Imam Ali, and the purity and devotion of Sayyedah Fatimah Al-Zahra.

🇬🇷 🌟 Christopher Helali — regional General Manager for "israel"-linked law firm run by corrupt Greek former MP

Since March 2025, Helali was employed as a regional General Manager for JPA International Legal Services, a Greek law firm founded by Greek lawyer and disgraced former MP Andreas Patsis.

The former MP and head of JPA was involved in serious cases of financial corruption via offshore companies in Cyprus.

For the record, Patsis was part of the New Democracy Party, which supports greater Greek-“israeli” ties and is generally pro-Zionist. NDP is also pro-NATO and critical of Russia.

In 2025, JPA formed a partnership with D&V Law Firm, led by former Greek government official Grigoris Dimitriadis, who in 2022 was involved in the Predatorgate scandal, in which Predator spyware (developed by a private company Intellexa, founded by former “israeli” military intelligence officer Tal Dilian) was placed on the phones of various journalists and opposition politicians in Greece.

While the Greek government and its intelligence services officially denied involvement, the evidence suggests that the Greek government and intelligence services were significantly involved in or at least fully aware of the Predator hackings.

What is interesting is that Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had assumed office just prior to the scandal and had made it a point to consolidate Greek intelligence (EYP) under his direct control.

Mitsotakis is part of the same pro-“israel” New Democracy Party that Patsis (Helali’s boss) was part of.

In an attempt to defend himself during the investigations of Predatorgate, Dilian said his company only sells to authorized governments and law enforcement, which is essentially to him pointing at Greek state complicity. The spyware could have only been planted by either Intellexa themselves or by the Greek government and Greek intelligence agency.

Dimitriadis is the nephew of Prime Minister Mitsotakis and at the time served as the general secretary of the PM’s office (a bit of nepotism). Following Predatorgate, Dimitriadis resigned, along with the head of EYP.

In 2025, JPA partnered with Dimitriadis’ own law firm D&V. Two corrupt former Greek politicians teaming up together, with one of them being embroiled in a scandal involving spyware made by a former “israeli” military intelligence officer.

Helali was hired by the firm in early 2025 and represented the firm at the World Youth Festival in Russia in that same year. As to what business JPA had in being at a political festival in Russia is unclear, as they are primarily engaged in cross-border commercial law.

JPA also does work in Kosovo, which is a fake NATO-created statelet whose foreign policy positions are whatever the US and “israel” want it to be.

This is the latest addition to the suspicious history of Helali. He served in a Pentagon-backed Kurdish separatist militia in Syria in 2017 as part of an LGBT subunit. "I am one of the faggots who fought ISIS," Helali exclaimed in a 2019 Spanish-language interview with El Mundo.

This is who was unfortunately treated as a celebrity within pro-resistance and anti-imperialist circles. No one is perfect, but this is beyond the pale of acceptable standards.

When Religious Outreach Comes at the Expense of Divine Law

Muslims today face a dilemma: the insistence that they must attract others to Islam and secure their commitment to it, whatever the cost.

There are various approaches being adopted today in the name of attracting people to Islam:

● Through [haram] music and singing;

● Through commodifying women and pushing them into arenas that Islam does not approve of;

● Through diluting and distorting religious rulings, such as those concerning Hudud— prescribed punishments and Qisas—retributive justice;

● Through clowning around and becoming absorbed in worldly pursuits;

● Or through sidelining the duty of enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong... while displaying a blatant and brazen silence in the face of manifest and evident wrongdoing—and other such approaches.

This problem is one manifestation and offshoot of a much greater problem:

Many of those who take it upon themselves to address religious affairs speak as though they were independent sources of legislation, as though they had the authority to speak on behalf of Almighty God based on their own judgment.

They have forgotten what belief in Prophethood and Divinely appointed Imamate entails, and have overlooked the fact that each of us, regardless of our standing or status, is charged with investigating and discerning what pleases Almighty God and the divinely appointed Hujaj—Proofs , peace be upon them.

There is no alternative to returning to the Qur’an and to their legacy, peace be upon them, and submitting with humility and reverence to what their words indicate.

I, you, and all of us are of no consequence, nor are our personal opinions, when measured against divine guidance.

It is therefore unacceptable to put the Qur’an and the words of the Infallibles, peace be upon them, at the service of our own viewpoints—to form our convictions in advance and then turn to the Qur’an and the narrations in search of evidence to support the path we have already chosen.

We seek refuge in God from reaching such a degree of abandonment and being deprived of divine guidance and success.

Allah grants each of them the reward of one thousand martyrs and records for each of them the reward of one year of worship.”

Fitrah: The Innate Human Nature and the Path to Allah

What if the desire to seek God is not something we learn, but something we are born with?

In Islamic theology, Fitrah refers to the innate nature with which Allah creates human beings.

It encompasses inherent dispositions, spiritual inclinations, and an inner awareness that exists within us from the beginning of our existence, without requiring prior instruction or deliberate reasoning.

The Qur’an declares:
“So set your face towards the religion, inclining to truth—the natural disposition of Allah upon which He has created mankind. There is no change in the creation of Allah. That is the upright religion, but most people do not know.” (30:30)

This verse establishes a profound connection between humanity’s original nature and the religion of truth.

From the Islamic perspective, the human being possesses an innate orientation towards Allah, an essential need for Him that cannot be reduced to habit, social conditioning, or external teaching.

Faith, therefore, is not merely an idea imposed upon the human mind; it is also a response to a deeper spiritual reality within the human being.

Fitrah is universal, yet it can become obscured.

Materialistic thinking, environmental influences, spiritual neglect, and persistent wrongdoing may distance a person from this inner awareness.

However, such obstacles do not necessarily destroy the original disposition; they may conceal it beneath layers of distraction and conditioning.

Hardship can awaken what comfort allows us to forget.

The Qur’an illustrates this reality in Surah Yunus, describing people aboard a ship when violent waves surround them:

“They call upon Allah, sincere to Him in religion.” (10:22)

When familiar means of protection collapse and human control reaches its limits, people often turn instinctively towards Allah.

The illusion of self-sufficiency weakens, and the heart confronts its dependence upon a power beyond the material world.

This moment reveals an important dimension of Fitrah:

The human longing for divine protection may remain dormant during periods of ease, only to emerge intensely when fear, uncertainty, or suffering strips away distractions.

The lesson is not to wait for a crisis to remember Allah.

Rather, we should nurture our Fitrah through prayer, reflection, gratitude, sincere worship, and moral conduct.

By removing the distractions that obscure our spiritual awareness, we allow our hearts to reconnect with their Creator.

Ultimately, Fitrah reminds us that the journey towards Allah is not simply about discovering something outside ourselves.

It is also about rediscovering the truth that our deepest nature has always been pointing towards Him.

Syrian Alawite Man Assassinated in Beirut After Monthslong Online Incitement Campaign Over His Past Military Service

The young Syrian man Ali Alawi Aaqel, 36, from the Alawite community, was assassinated in the Hadath area of #Beirut while inside his car, and his body arrived at Baabda Government Hospital. The details of his assassination remain unknown at this time.

Ali had been active on social media before he stopped posting around two years ago.

The young man was killed following a month-long incitement campaign led by a number of pro-Jolani social media influencers and media figures. The campaign was triggered by the fact that the young man had served mandatory military service in the Syrian army before the fall of the former regime, and was known for his social media activity even during his service.

Jolanists continue to circulate photos of the young man in military uniform to justify his assassination, despite there being no evidence that he committed any war crime, he was simply fulfilling mandatory military service as required by Syrian law, which applied to more than a million young men during the Syrian war, from all sects. Unlike those who incited his killing, his own rhetoric during the Syrian war consistently rejected sectarian strife, called for reconciliation between sects, condemned anyone who insulted another sect, and affirmed that their fight was against the “black-banners” group (ISIS), as he used to describe them.

Regardless of the young man's political stance, jolanists forget that members of the former Syrian army fought in battles against the terrorist organizations ISIS and al-Qaeda, battles in which members of the international coalition, including American, European, and even Russian soldiers, also participated. It has become shameless to justify killing soldiers who were serving mandatory duty simply for having done so, without any proof they committed war crimes against civilians.

By this logic, jolanists would be prepared to kill coalition soldiers for having fought against ISIS and al-Qaeda, after Qatar and Gulf states bribed enough money to legitimize the takeover of the Syrian state by al-Qaeda and ISIS remnants, without any elections or consultation of the Syrian people, and to help them build an Islamic dictatorship more brutal than the one before it.

Ali Alawi Aaqel (Ali Shaheen) was originally from the Ghab Plain and resided in Latakia city. He was the son of folk artist who died during Ali's childhood. Ali Aaqel had completed his military service before the fall of the regime and returned to civilian life. After the incitement campaign targeted him, he wrote that he had been summoned and called in for questioning several times by the STG regime's military intelligence, with no evidence or case against him (even his social media rhetoric consistently rejected sectarian strife and called for the protection of civilians, even during military operations in their areas).

The young man was forced to travel to Lebanon following the incitement campaign. A source close to Ali Aaqel told us he had been receiving death threats and was heading to Lebanon to protect himself, he traveled there during the current month of October, only to be assassinated in Beirut.

It’s worth noting that assassinations and kidnappings targeting Syrian Alawites in Lebanese territory have been on the rise, with many of them reportedly carried out by staff of the Syrian embassy in Beirut, who are al-Qaeda remnants appointed by alJolani.
