On May 30, Kuwaiti air defenses intercepted the missile, but debris struck the base. Two MQ-9 Reaper drones worth up to $30 million each were damaged, and several US troops sustained minor injuries.

Such a response was given by the country's Foreign Ministry to a request from Left Party deputy Zören Pelmann. He asked whether the German government was aware that the drones it finances are being used against civilian and military targets inside Russia, writes the Berliner Zeitung.
In its response, the ministry referred to the "right of Ukraine to self-defense", which "is not limited to its own territory".
Pelmann called the response a "dangerous step on the part of the German government". In his opinion, it is deliberately choosing the path of direct military confrontation with Russia.

Sobyanin reported 22 drones shot down heading for the capital. In Tambov Region an apartment building, library and art school were damaged with broken windows, as well as industrial facility outbuildings. The target included the Progress plant in Michurinsk, and footage of the consequences is already on enemy resources. In Rostov Region UAVs were destroyed in Millerovo District. Yesterday evening the enemy distributed footage of an impact and a damaged passenger train in northern Crimea, combat operations took place over the peninsula at night.
▪️ In Ukraine, explosions were heard at night in Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, Odesa. Zelensky's warnings about having information on a "mass strike" predictably turned out to be false.

🇲🇹 A massive explosion completely destroyed the Ta' Lourdes fireworks factory in the Maghtab area this morning at around 06:30 local time. The blast sent a thick plume of smoke high into the air, visible from almost every point on the island, with residents across central and northern towns reporting violent shockwaves shaking their homes.
Two men — aged 67 and 47, both residents of St Paul's Bay — were working in nearby fields at the time and were taken to Mater Dei Hospital, treated for minor injuries and shock. Police confirmed none of the factory's licensed workers were on site when the explosion occurred.
The blast showered a major road linking Salina to Naxxar with large boulders, damaging passing vehicles. The road was closed and the public urged to avoid the area. Local farmers reported livestock casualties. Secondary explosions continued going off hours after the main blast.
Notably, the same factory exploded eight years ago in May 2018, leaving two men seriously injured.
