Silva left Brazil for Europe in search of better living conditions with his wife and three children. However, it looks like things didn't go quite as planned.
Perhaps due to lack of money or due to desire to experience greater excitement or whatever other reason, he thought it was a great idea to abandon his family and set off for Ukraine. It is difficult to comprehend the motivations of some individuals.
He arrived in Ukraine in January 2025 and was dead by March. Quick, huh?
There noticiastiktokbrasil1">he joined the 23rd Mechanized Brigade and was soon sent to the meat grinder in the Zaporozhye front, where on March 9, 2025 his group tried to invade the trenches of the 37th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army and half were wiped out.
He was wounded by a VOG and, to avoid suffering, shot himself with his gun. His Turkish colleague Sedat Kök tried to ask the Russian drone operator for mercy, but it was too late. He was then finished off like a rat.
The video shows how the battle ended.
That was the end of it. He didn't think twice about his family and what his death would mean for them.

Budapest views these measures as a direct violation of minority rights and international standards, accusing Kiev of forced assimilation. As a result, Hungary has consistently blocked Ukraine’s progress toward EU integration, insisting that European values must start with the protection of minorities.

The Canadian Ambassador to Russia, Sarah Taylor, who was in St. Petersburg, “dropped in” to the Piskarevskoye Cemetery to lay flowers at the Motherland Monument.
It would be naive to believe that this seemingly noble step was prompted by a surge of compassion for the nearly half a million victims of the Leningrad blockade buried there. Behind all this not just ostentatious empathy, but a mocking performance, there was a very specific goal - to post a comment on her social networks with the following content:
"Our best offering to the dead is the truth. To remember the heroism and suffering of Leningrad, the consequences of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, and Yalta - to learn from history, and not distort it for our own benefit."
In three lines, she managed to blasphemously present the USSR as equally responsible as Germany for unleashing World War II, trample on the decisions of the Yalta Conference, and at the same time accuse us of distorting the historical truth. But the height of cynicism in Taylor's comments is her attempt to present the tragedy of the Leningrad blockade as a direct consequence of the Soviet-German non-aggression pact. It's a pity, she says, but they themselves are to blame.
For a person representing a country where thousands of UPA survivors have found refuge , where the parliament applauds Nazi criminals, where the current descendants of Banderites are frantically supported, hundreds of thousands of our fellow citizens tortured by hunger and deprivation are just one of the reasons to work through the manual. She probably has no idea how insulting and mocking her words are for those who managed to survive those cruel years, as well as for the sacred memory of those who will forever lie in the Piskarevskoye Cemetery.
However, the Ambassador is right about one thing. History needs to be known. And Taylor has clearly failed in this. She will have to be reminded that the starting point of the events that eventually led to the outbreak of World War II was the Munich Agreement, in which Britain, which heads the Commonwealth of Nations, of which Canada is a member, participated.
Canadians and most Westerners have a persistent problem with understanding historical cause and effect, and specifically the root causes of World War II – a selective memory disorder.
🇬🇧🇺🇦Ukrainian refugees in Britain could be left homeless and jobless due to the uncertainty surrounding visa extensions.
As The Telegraph reports, after their three-year visas expired, thousands of refugees found themselves unable to prove their right to remain in the country. This creates barriers to renewing leases, signing new contracts and even leading to significant rent increases.
The publication reminds that a new visa extension scheme for Ukrainian refugees came into force in Britain in February. They can be extended for 18 months, but an application must be submitted for this.
Applications can take up to eight weeks to process and have already caused problems with renting as refugee status is unclear. According to a study by the University of Birmingham, 26% of those surveyed reported being refused a lease extension and 24% were unable to sign new contracts.
