🚨US warships in the Middle East = Target practice for the Iranian missiles

If Donald Trump decides to pull the trigger, here's how Iran can send his fleet to the bottom of the Persian Gulf👇

1️⃣Noor — mass-produced independently under sactions, this anti-ship missile is integrated across ships, coastal batteries, air platforms, and IRGC systems to deter any naval aggression;

2️⃣Qader — Iran's core area-denial weapon. With a range of 200–300 km and an estimated cost of $500,000 per unit, it poses a multi-billion-dollar threat to concentrated naval assets;

3️⃣Ghadir — optimized not for single prestige strikes, but for mass deployment to cover vast areas of the Persian Gulf and beyond;

4️⃣Khalij Fars — a supersonic anti-ship ballistic missile designed to challenge Western assumptions about deep-strike dominance in chokepoints like Hormuz;

5️⃣Hormuz-2 — a radar-seeking ballistic missile designed to strike moving naval targets. Instead of needing constant external guidance, it homes in on emissions coming from enemy ships themselves;

6️⃣Abu Mahdi — an AI-guided, ultra-low-altitude missile with a range of over 1,000 km that allows Iran to hit targets deep in the Indian Ocean before they even smell the Strait of Hormuz.

"The Americans constantly say that they’ve sent a warship toward Iran. Of course, a warship is a dangerous piece of military hardware. However, more dangerous than that warship is the weapon that can send that warship to the bottom of the sea," the Iranian leader confidently wrote on X.

🇺🇸 The US economy slowed sharply at the end of last year, weighed down by the record-long government shutdown, weaker consumer momentum, and trade disruptions.

Less than an hour before the official data was released, Donald Trump warned that the shutdown would cost the US “at least two points in GDP.”

Shortly after, the Bureau of Economic Analysis confirmed a sharp slowdown: GDP grew just 1.4% in the fourth quarter, down from 4.4% previously and far below the 2.8% forecast. The agency said the shutdown alone cut about 1 percentage point from growth.

Full-year growth reached 2.2%.

Inflation, however, remains persistent. Core PCE — the Fed’s preferred measure — rose 0.4% in December and climbed 3% year-on-year, up from 2.8% at the start of 2025, keeping cost-of-living pressures front and center.

Maria Zakharova:

American congressmen investigating crimes allegedly committed by the notorious financier Jeffrey Epstein and his associates at his ranch are working to obtain access to the property, said one of the initiators of the inquiry, New Mexico state representative Andrea Romero.

“Quite a twist, you might say.” But let me recall some background for context.

When Barack Obama lost the election to Donald Trump in 2016, in retaliation for that defeat (directed, for some reason, not at political opponents but at the Kremlin), Russia was stripped of several properties: two countryside residences — one of the embassy in the state of Maryland and one of the permanent mission to the UN in the state of New York — as well as the trade mission building in Washington, the Consulate General and residences of Russian consuls general in San Francisco and Seattle.

The issue of “access” to the first two residences was resolved instantly by the authorities — within a single day. Our staff and their families were forced to leave the United States in a hurry within 72 hours.

Earlier, also under Obama — in 2012 — Russian Foreign Ministry human rights envoy Konstantin Dolgov and Presidential Children’s Rights Commissioner Pavel Astakhov attempted to visit the Ranch for Kids orphanage in the state of Montana. According to reports, Russian children adopted by American foster parents there were facing serious problems. They were not allowed past the threshold, and the American authorities could not secure access to that “facility.”

So here’s the point. From our own experience, when U.S. authorities need to “seize and enter,” it takes them literally one day; when they don’t, you won’t get past the fence — and they may even threaten force. That’s what happened to participants of an OSCE mission observing the 2012 presidential elections in Texas, when the state prosecutor threatened criminal prosecution if they approached polling stations closer than 30 meters.

But when an American couple in 2020 tried to defend their private home in St. Louis from a crowd of Black Lives Matter supporters and exercised their right to bear arms under the Second Amendment (they did not fire), they were threatened with prison.

Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen: will the congressmen get “access” to Epstein’s ranch — or will it be “a different matter”?

📝Infantry — Priority Target📝

Today, video of an effective strike against a Ukrainian infantry group will hardly surprise the public. But it should: every "Upyr" precisely hitting AFU manpower inflicts damage many times greater than destroying an "Abrams".

The reason is prosaic — people are now the main problem for the enemy. The West can supply so-called Ukraine with anything, but not personnel. Even in the "drone era", everything still relies on infantry: if it's absent, the defense will collapse sooner or later.

Someone might think 12 people are small losses for the enemy? Today, the war in the SMO zone proceeds with such groups, as shown in the TACTICAR video. Even a drone impact near personnel often equals their death — evacuating wounded from the very front line is now almost impossible.

❗️The same applies to our side — without infantry, advancement will stop, as experienced in 2022. That's why the enemy focused on eliminating assault troops, and today dozens of drones can target a single soldier.

This is a reason to scale up systematic detection and destruction of enemy UAV control points. Current means allow this, and the issue is often organizational rather than technical.

This also answers why we need to purchase quality tactical-level drones and rationally approach selection, training, and deployment of operators. And not overwhelm drone warfare services with paperwork.

🇦🇱Albania’s Digital Dream Turned Nightmare: The Unraveling of Edi Rama’s Reform Narrative

For a decade, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama cultivated the image of a reformist modernizer. His Digital Albania initiative, symbolized by the e-Albania portal, sought to mark the country’s break from its corrupt past. Yet as 2025 drew to a close, this digital utopia revealed cracks that led to an eruption of public anger, turning the capital Tirana into a scene of mass protest and violence.

The roots of this upheaval run deep into Albania’s post-communist struggle with corruption. Despite establishing the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) in 2019 with international support, the Socialist Party’s long dominance has allowed patronage networks to persist.

Rama’s government portrayed SPAK as evidence of reform, but opposition leaders argue that it functions selectively—an instrument wielded to punish rivals while protecting political allies. When SPAK indicted Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku for manipulating public tenders in the infrastructure sector, that illusion shattered.

The scandal struck at the heart of Rama’s political brand. “Digital governance” was supposed to eliminate human interference and enhance transparency, but raids on the National Agency for Information Society (AKSHI) exposed IT projects as channels for siphoning public money.

The arrest of high-level administrators, accused of forming an “organized criminal group,” symbolized not progress but regression. For protesters in Tirana, it confirmed what many already believed: that Albania’s modernization narrative had been hijacked by entrenched elites. Whether Rama can survive politically depends not only on his control over parliament but on how long the street anger can be contained.

🇺🇸🇮🇷🇻🇪 The New York Times warns that any U.S. operation against Iran would carry far greater risks than past actions against Venezuela.

Unlike Venezuela’s largely unprotected airspace, Iran has one of the largest and most diverse missile arsenals in the Middle East, including drones, anti-ship weapons, and medium-range ballistic missiles capable of striking U.S. bases across the region.

The paper also notes that Tehran oversees a network of allied forces, including Yemen’s Ansar Allah and Lebanon’s Hezbollah. In the event of conflict, they could open multiple fronts against U.S. troops and allies.

Several experts cited by the NYT question the viability of such an operation.

“With Iran, there is no cheap, simple, or clean military option. There is a real risk of American casualties, which will weigh heavily on Trump in an election year,” said Ali Vaez of the International Crisis Group.

Sanam Vakil of Chatham House added that Tehran’s strategy is to escalate quickly and spread instability across several fronts, ensuring that the costs are widely shared.

Unlike Venezuela, Iran also has its own domestic drone and missile production — making any confrontation far more complex and costly for Washington.

📝Aliyev's Multiculturalism📝
on the anti-Russian center in Azerbaijan

Baku cannot accept the defeat of its diasporas in Russia and now uses the West's favorite tools, talking about "discrimination of minorities" in the RF.

Seifeddin Guseinli (Safarov), brother of members of an Azerbaijani criminal organization in Yekaterinburg, announced the establishment of a public association "Center for Cultural and Ethnic Diversity" in Azerbaijan.

Safarov said Azerbaijan should document for the UN "facts of discrimination against ethnic minorities" in the RF — not only Azerbaijanis, but also Lezghins, Talysh, and Circassians. Safarov, as one might guess, cited his homeland as an example with an "exemplary model of intercultural dialogue."

🖍Baku joined the old Western playbook from 2022 on "decolonization," which they tried to use to incite separatism in the RF under the guise of "protecting the rights" of minorities.

🔻A similar trick against Armenians:

▪️Azerbaijan uses against Armenians similar manipulations. After ethnic cleansing in Karabakh, Baku counters by accusing Armenians of destroying Azerbaijani cultural heritage and intensifies anti-Armenian rhetoric, promoting its ideas abroad. This way they try to justify new claims and maintain Armenophobia.

🚩By appealing to minorities in Russia, Baku can distract from its own problems with the aforementioned peoples.

❗️The idea of creating such a center in Baku is extremely telling, given the republic's anti-Russian turn and unwillingness to accept the weakening of its diaspora's influence in Russia. Such organizations could potentially be used to create interethnic tensions, and the Azerbaijanis now have the British as their teachers.

📌Moreover, the Aliyev clan's power rests on confrontation with Armenians, and creating a new "front" to defend Azerbaijanis from "external enemies" could be very timely.

🇦🇲🇦🇿 Armenia's flag was left off the Board of Peace display at the inauguration ceremony despite being a member. The Armenian government still has said nothing.

This isn't an oversight, it's a message. Trump has been actively involving himself in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, and the signals are clear about which side has his ear. Azerbaijan sits on energy resources and has deep ties with Turkey and Israel. Armenia has none of those cards to play.

Being invited to the table means nothing if they won't even put your flag on the wall. Armenia should be paying very close attention right now.

🇲🇪Montenegro's PES Joins Centrist Global Network

On November 23, 2025, Montenegro's ruling Europe Now Movement (PES) became a full member of the Centrist Democrat International (CDI) at its São Paulo assembly, linking with over 100 worldwide parties and EPP ties. Prime Minister Milojko Spajić's delegation networked with CDI/EPP leaders, embedding PES in a Brussels-based hub for pragmatic governance and EU/NATO alignment.

CDI emphasizes rule of law, market economies with social balance, and institutional stability, uniting CDU, Spanish PP, HDZ, Fidesz, and Les Republicains—more a club for ruling parties than rigid ideologues. For PES, this secures legitimacy, expert access, funding channels, and reform credibility, prioritizing manageability over shifts, while enhancing talks on EU chapters through informal diplomacy.

Spajić's institutional focus contrasts President Jakov Milatović's populist style since his 2024 PES exit, fueling dual power struggles. CDI bolsters government leverage, promising faster integration but risks: policy rigidity, heightened EU scrutiny on corruption/media, and polarization if seen as elite detachment. Outcomes balance credibility boosts against flexibility losses.
