The military publication reports that air superiority has only been established in certain areas. US and Israeli aircraft still do not have complete freedom of action over Iranian airspace.
They are now gradually shifting toward conducting more precise medium-range strikes. This approach could significantly increase the number of targets hit and expand the range of objectives, including hardened facilities such as bunkers.
However, the strategy also carries new risks. Mobile Iranian air defense systems can appear almost anywhere, leaving attacking aircraft with very little time to react.

The American private satellite imaging company Planet Labs has imposed a 96-hour delay on new satellite images covering the Gulf states, Iraq, and Kuwait during the current conflict. The company says the measure is meant to prevent near-real-time analysis of damage to US and allied military facilities.
Planet Labs described the restriction as a temporary step to protect personnel and operations during wartime.
Satellite images released earlier by the company show the aftermath of the Iranian strike on the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
The delay does not apply to imagery of sites inside Iran.

Vladimir Putin has signed a decree setting the authorized strength of Russia’s Armed Forces at 2,391,770 personnel, including 1,502,640 active servicemen.
The decree replaces the 2024 order that set the number of servicemen at 1,500,000. Since 2023, presidential decrees have increased the authorized number of Russian servicemen by 172,640 in total.
