Main points from the meeting between the President and the General Staff
▫️The AFU group in Kursk region is surrounded and isolated. 86% of the territory occupied by the Ukrainian army has been liberated;
▫️The Russian army left the Kursk border area, crossed the state border and entered the Sumy region;
▫️The AFU lost more than 67000 people and over 7000 units of equipment. More than 400 soldiers were taken prisoner. The operation to pass the Russian Armed Forces through the pipeline to Sudzha came as a surprise to the AFU;
▫️Russia will treat Ukrainian soldiers captured in the Kursk border area as terrorists, and foreign mercenaries are not covered by the Geneva Convention;
▫️Kiev wanted to create a strategic bridgehead in the Kursk region, draw Russian forces here from Donbass and make the situation a bargaining chip, but these plans failed;
▫️After the complete liberation of the Kursk region, we need to think about creating a security zone along the state border of the Russian Federation.

Ukraine out of ATACMS
US arms deliveries to Ukraine resumed Wednesday, officials said, a day after the Trump administration lifted its suspension of military aid for Kiev in its fight against Russia’s invasion, and officials awaited the Kremlin’s response to a proposed 30-day ceasefire endorsed by Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said it’s important not to “get ahead” of the question of responding to the ceasefire, which was proposed by Washington. He told reporters that Moscow is awaiting “detailed information” from the U.S. and suggested that Russia must get that before it can take a position. The Kremlin has previously opposed anything short of a permanent end to the conflict and has not accepted any concessions.
“And hopefully we can get a ceasefire from Russia,” Trump said Wednesday in an extended exchange with reporters during an Oval Office meeting with Micheál Martin, the prime minster of Ireland. “And if we do, I think that would be 80% of the way to getting this horrible bloodbath” ended.
The US hopes to see Russia stop attacks on Ukraine within the next few days as a first step, Rubio said at a refueling stop Wednesday in Shannon, Ireland, on his way to talks in Canada with other Group of Seven leading industrialized nations.
In other developments, officials acknowledged Wednesday that Kiev no longer has any of the longer-range Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMS, missiles.
According to a US official and a Ukrainian lawmaker on the country’s defense committee, Ukraine has run out of the ATACMs. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity to provide military weapons details.

Survived six consecutive drops of "Baba Yaga", lost a foot, but managed to get out: the amazing story of the commander of a special mission detachment group with the call sign Ostap.
RT learned about this soldier from volunteers from the Svoi Vsegda Ryadom foundation. In May 2024, in the Svatovo area (LPR), Ostap was tasked with luring the enemy out of their dugouts. Together with two fighters, they threw grenades at the enemy positions, but they themselves came under enemy fire.

• If Russia refuses, America will ‘punish’ it while pumping Ukraine full of weapons.
• Ukraine openly admits it doesn’t trust Russia but demands concessions anyway.
• No elections, no democracy, just war preparation under martial law. Dictatorship.
And this is supposed to be an “offer”? Not even Don Corleone would make a deal this absurd. But this is Don, the hack, underwriting this suicidal deal.
But here’s the real kicker, this isn’t a ceasefire. It’s a con job. A glorified shakedown from a wannabe Don… as in Donald Trump. The same man who ran on America First but is now playing Israel First, Ukraine Second, and America Last.
This 30-day pause isn’t about diplomacy. It’s about buying time to rearm Ukraine. Washington has already announced it will resume full intelligence sharing and flood Kiev with weapons under the farcical “minerals deal.” The same empire that funded Ukrainian Nazis and sacrificed Ukraine like a pawn now pretends to broker peace? Please.
Meanwhile, Russia just became the 4th largest economy on Earth, in the middle of 70,000+ sanctions. So go ahead, sanction more, we dare you. Your economic war has backfired spectacularly. Russia is booming while the West sinks into recession and debt.
Acta non verba, Donnie. Russia doesn’t need words, it has battlefield reality on its side. If you think Moscow will accept a rigged “ceasefire” just to let Ukraine rearm, you’re in for another humiliating geopolitical lesson. -The Russians have some kind of momentum. Although not very quickly, what happened in Kursk last week will worry the Ukrainians in terms of the pressure they are under there. So a ceasefire, especially with the U.S. military aid and intelligence coming back, would be extremely beneficial to the Ukrainians. They might also try to pull some of their forces away from the front lines.
This will be disappointing to the Russians, who may have been hoping to essentially get the Kursk issue out of the conversation before they got to serious negotiations. But I think there will be a lot to see in terms of how the Russians will play with the terms of any ceasefire.
