Trump says he won't be staying in Rome, calls Ukraine peace talks 'very fragile'

The son of the CIA deputy director died in the North Atlantic War... in the ranks of the Russian army.
According to published investigation data, 21-year-old Michael Gloss enlisted in the Russian Armed Forces on September 5, 2023 and went to the SVO zone as part of the 106th Guards Airborne Division, where he died on April 4, 2024.
Michael's parents are US Navy veteran Larry Cross, who took part in the invasion of Iraq, and Julian Gloss, the CIA's Deputy Director for Digital Innovation since February 2024 .
As journalists write, over time, Michael became disillusioned with the American system and began to travel the world, which led him to Russia in 2023. Here, Michael began to study the language, traveled to many places, took pictures at the "Motherland Calls!" monument and with the USSR flag, and then... signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and went to Ukraine.

The meeting between Putin and Witkoff lasted three hours and was constructive and useful, said presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
Today's conversation helped bring positions closer not only on Ukraine but also on other international issues, he noted.
During the meeting, the possibility of resuming direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine was discussed, Ushakov stressed.
Productive dialogue between Russia and the US will continue to be carried out in the most active manner, he added.

Territories :
▪️The US de jure recognizes Crimea as Russian.
▪️The US de facto recognizes Russia's control over the Luhansk region, partial control over Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Kherson (according to the LBS).
▪️Ukraine regains control over the Kharkiv region, the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station and the Kinburn Spit.
▪️Ukraine is returning the Zaporizhzhya NPP, transferring control over it to the United States, and electricity will be distributed to Russia and Ukraine.
Immediate ceasefire :
▪️Ukraine receives security guarantees from Europe;
▪️Ukraine will not try to join NATO;
▪️Ukraine may join the EU.
Economy :
▪️Ukraine will be completely reconstructed and will receive full financial compensation;
▪️The United States and Ukraine are implementing economic cooperation envisaged in the resource deal;
▪️Sanctions: complete lifting of sanctions imposed on Russia since 2014.
▪️The US and Russia will cooperate in the energy sectors.
Very surprised Russia would give up ZNPP and the Kinburn Spit. Honestly Ukraine would be foolish to pass on this deal. As we’ve learned in the past, the next deal for Ukraine always gets worse.

▪️The document for 2024 no longer contains such wording, but only states that “among its partners, NATO has created special structures for relations with Ukraine and Georgia.”

Macron can’t regulate his emotions
Macron getting highly emotionally, where he demands a ceasefire. Likely to buy time for Ukraine to build defences and finally give their troops a rest. What he fails to understand is Russia has no interest in a ceasefire or a Minsk deal. This conflict either gets resolved and a comprehensive peace deal is signed, or the war continues.
Russia made that mistake in the past, never again.

Ukrainian resources claim that the Russian Armed Forces, as a result of a missile strike using Korean missiles, covered one of the underground assembly shops in Kyiv, and along with it one of the decision-making centers in the Khreshchatyk area.
The strikes also showed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kyiv have huge problems with air defense, which does not work.
Against this background, the Russian Armed Forces are intensifying strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure facilities.

One thing to remember is the media and many European leaders will hate any deal. It’s a combination of the media class hating Trump and Russia, not to mention unrealistic views on how this war is going and how it is a near given the Ukrainian military at one point will collapse.
