He rode the legendary T-34 as part of the parade crew of the mechanized column.
Nikolay Borisov was born on November 3, 1924 in the village of Barskoye-Tatarovo, Vyaznikovsky District, Ivanovo (now Vladimir) Region. He was drafted into the army in 1942. He commanded a tank platoon, and then a company.
- In one of the battles, he led the brigade headquarters with a banner out of encirclement.
- He took part in the Battle of Kursk, liberated Ukraine, Poland, Czechoslovakia and Germany.
- He destroyed ten tanks and self-propelled artillery units.
- He burned in his vehicles five times.
- During the war, he covered at least 4 thousand kilometers.
