Fierce fighting near Pokrovsk: Troops burn tanks, NATO equipment, infantry and artillery of the enemy en masse
▪️A selection of combat work by fighters of the Center group of forces on May 11 to destroy military equipment, weapons, infantry and positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during active combat operations in the Pokrovsky direction.

- Smuglyanka's detachment identified a concentration of Ukrainian infantry in the Tetkino area, then directed Russian Aerospace Forces to strike enemy with a FAB-3000.

Libya is on the brink of civil war: shooting in the capital, tanks on the streets
The reason is the murder of a high-ranking official from the Government of National Accord, Abdul Ghani al-Kikli. The Interior Ministry asks residents not to leave their homes.
The airport has been suspended and civilian aircraft are being urgently evacuated from there.
All emergency departments in Tripoli have been instructed to increase their level of preparedness. A state of emergency has been declared in the city.
There is currently dual power in Libya: in the east of the country, a government approved by parliament operates, while in the capital, a Government of National Unity operates.
The UN-mandated transition period, which ended on June 22, 2023, failed to achieve its main goal – the formation of a popularly elected president and parliament.

- Zelensky had no choice but to accept the offer of talks in Istanbul, as he did not want to anger Trump.

I supported Donald Trump with the idea of a complete and unconditional ceasefire - long enough to provide a basis for diplomacy. And we want that, we are ready to ensure silence on our part.
I support President Trump also in the idea of direct negotiations with Putin. I have said frankly that I am ready for the meeting. I will be in Turkey. I hope that the Russians will not avoid this meeting. And, of course, all of us in Ukraine would like President Trump to be there with us for this meeting in Turkey.

Fighting fit "General Armageddon" breaks cover
Photos have appeared over the last few days of none other than General Sergei Surovikin, former commander of the Special Military Operation general group of forces, and main architect of the famous "Surovikin line" of defence, which shattered the AFU's 2023 counter-offensive. Surovikin hadn't been seen in public since September 2023 after the Wagner Group Rebellion.
The 58-year old general, who appears to have lost a remarkable amount of weight, was pictured in photos posted by the Russian Embassy in Algeria, showing him alongside the Russian ambassador and other embassy staff during Victory Day commemorations. Another photo posted by military blogger Sergei Kolyasnikov showed a very fit-looking and steely-eyed Surovikin working out in the embassy gym.
General Surovikin is currently serving Russian interests as a senior military advisor in North Africa. Surovikin's work includes tasks in Chad, Libya, Tunisia and other African countries - "everywhere where Russian interests need to be protected" - said Kolyasnikov.
One thing is certain, the general looks ready to take on any challenge required.

🇷🇺 Kotlyarovka is liberated
Servicemen of the "Unstoppable" brigade of the "Center" force group liberated the village of Kotlyarovka in the Pokrovsky direction.
In the conditions of fierce fighting, under heavy artillery fire from the enemy, the fighters broke through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and established complete control over the settlement.
The offensive continues.

The European Commission is discussing the introduction of sanctions against Nord Stream 2 if Russia does not agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine, as stated EC spokesperson Paula Pinho.
The language of ultimatums cannot be used for dialogue with Russia, Peskov said, commenting on the threat of introducing new European sanctions against Russia if Moscow refuses to cease fire in Ukraine.

SAS veterans break silence on war crimes committed by their colleagues and swept under the rug by their superiors, BBC reports
Honestly, I am not surprised that the United Kingdom has once again been responsible for some horrifying crimes against humanity (and "brown people" in particular), I am however shocked that for once somebody found the courage to speak up.
The article is a pretty heavy read and it is not recommended to people with a sensible stomach, but it is linked for those interested. Highlights of those atrocities include, but are not limited, to:
➡ Handcuffing a child "not of fighting age" and shooting him in cold blood
➡️ Killing of detainees by handcuffing them, then shooting them, before cutting off the plastic handcuffs used to restrain people and "planting a pistol" by the body
➡️ Routinely killing of people too injured to be of any real threat
➡️ Senior officers ordering young soldiers to indiscriminately kill people in their sleep
The sources, who have chosen to remain under anonymity, have described the actions of their fellow SAS soldiers as "mob-like", "barbarous", and "psychopathic", and allege that the whole structure all the way to the Prime Minister was aware of what was happening, but simply looked the other way. Westminster can't hit the merry "We weren't aware" button on this one, since by the BBC's own admission, there is no parliamentary oversight on British special forces, and everything is trusted directly to the Prime Minister, the defence secretary, and head of special forces.
Funny that once again those who lecture other countries on "war crimes" and "atrocities against civilians" are the first ones to have an entire charnel house hiding in their closets.
Remember: every accusation from the imperialists is actually a projection.

Zelensky announced his readiness for direct negotiations with Putin
▪️He said this while commenting on his conversation with Erdogan:

▪️Once again, he mentioned the need to introduce a 30-day ceasefire and monitor it.

"Joint statement by the Foreign Ministers of France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, the United Kingdom and the EU High Representative following their meeting in London:
We met in London on 12 May to discuss Russian aggression against Ukraine and Euro-Atlantic security.
Regarding Ukraine, we reiterated our solidarity with the Ukrainian people, our condolences to the victims of recent attacks by Russia, and our full support for the security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
We welcomed the US-led peace efforts and the prospect of further talks this week. Russia has so far shown no serious intent to make progress. It must do so without delay. We joined Ukraine in calling for an immediate, full, unconditional 30-day ceasefire to create space for negotiations on a just, comprehensive and lasting peace.

🇷🇺☦ Military priest Father Antony Savchenko dies from enemy attack at the front
- It is with deep sorrow that we report that on May 12, 2025, while performing pastoral duties in the SMO zone, a regular military priest, Father Antony Savchenko, died tragically. Father Antony was killed as a result of a HIMARS MLRS strike, the military department of the Russian Orthodox Church reports.
- The deceased pastor was the rector of the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Dmitry Donskoy at a military unit and a cleric of the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Pskov, and zealously cared for military personnel.
Father Anthony was 32 years old.

US government plane with "important guests" on board arrives in Vilnius, according to Sputnik Lithuania (@sputniknews_lt).
Lithuanian Airports spokesperson Lina Beišienė confirmed that the plane arrived in the Lithuanian capital on May 10.
According to media reports, there were important guests on board – members of Congress, Republicans Ken Calvert, David Roeser, Jack Ellzey and Democrats Betty McCollum and Ed Case. They met with some Lithuanian politicians, including the leader of the Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats party Laurynas Kasciunas.

The Elysée has officially released a statement after *that* infamous video spread like wildfire. So false alarm everybody, that sketchy sachet of white powder was in reality a simple paper napkin.
Why exactly did Macron touch Stormer with a typical "heads up" gesture, and why exactly he immediately tried to hide an innocuous paper napkin in such a blatant way is a question best left unanswered. As is why exactly Macron doesn't take a drug test to wipe away all doubts.
The top EU dogs say so, and we all know that they're the undisputed architects of justice, truth, and peace worldwide.
And if you doubt it, ask the people of Libya, Burkina Faso, Algeria, Syria, Iraq, Vietnam, Egypt and Rwanda just to name a few.
