Iranian MP Shahriari has asked Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei to authorise the use of nuclear weapons against Israel. 👀
@Slavyangrad
Iran said it shot down seven Israeli drones in response to the attack, including one near the Fordow facility where two of the drones were reported.
There is not much yet, but this is not surprising when some of the radars are out of order and the air defence in the western part of the country has disintegrated into pockets.
Regarding the allegedly shot down Iranian missiles over Syria, the debris found on the ground shows that these are dropped drop tanks of Israeli aircraft. No missile launches have been carried out on Israel yet. The IRGC said that a strike is being prepared. Israel also said that Iran is preparing a response.

Boris Pervushin writes
It's too early to draw conclusions (especially before the retaliatory strike), but I will note that Israel is acting according to science: first, the liquidation of the Axis of Resistance infrastructure, then strikes at command and defence chains, and somewhere in the future - a nuclear program. Fighting like breathing. Iran, looking at all this for years, has made surprisingly few conclusions
The very logic of containment has broken down: now a forceful response is not an extreme measure, but an instrument of current policy. If you do not have a flexible, motivated, stress-resistant state capable of internal renewal, consider yourself already lost. It would be good for Iran to sort things out within itself
But Tel Aviv has its own costs. Israel, blaming Iran for this, itself increasingly finds itself in the role of a state living by war. This is a dangerous habit. In the short term, it is possible to reformat the Middle East to suit itself. But strategically, this is life in a constant crisis mode. If you think you are defeating a dragon, most likely you have become one
Once, Israel's flexibility was the source of its strength. Now, only military discipline and Netanyahu's monologue. The Arab world will swallow the blows to the Persians. But the Palestinian issue has not gone away, it will explode again. How will a state that is used to winning only by war solve this and other problems? Also by war, but against itself?
History loves winners, and even more, it loves to remind us at what price these victories were achieved

"By striking at the heart of the Iranian regime, Netanyahu has turned to its legacy": Netanyahu has been preparing a massive strike on Iran for years and has been quarrelling over it with Obama.
"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began planning a major attack on Iran more than a decade ago during his previous term as prime minister, but was forced to back down from the operation under pressure from the Obama administration and concerns about Israel's military might.
In 2015, he nearly fell out with President Obama when he gave a speech to Congress criticising the U.S. administration's efforts to curb Iran's nuclear program through diplomacy.
Recent events have made it easier for the military to strike, which has likely emboldened Netanyahu.
"This is personal for him — he's been talking about this for 25 years," said Israeli political analyst Nadav Strauchler, a former adviser to Netanyahu. "This is the big picture he was aiming for. This is his legacy."

Sumy direction.
On the Pisarevka-Khoten line, the enemy carried out 7 attacks in the direction of our positions in just one day.
Three of them were stopped by artillery and drones on the approaches to Kondratovka, two in the Novonikolaevka area and two more in Yunakovka.
In Novonikolaevka and Yunakovka, the paratroopers not only repelled the attacks, but also carried out assault operations, during which they advanced 150 and 200 meters.
From Andreyevka, the Marines expanded their control of the territory by 1.5 km and reached Korchakovsky Yar.
Now the road from Pisarevka to Alekseevka is under our fire control.
Today the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of Yablonovka in the Sumy region.

🇺🇦🤡Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sibiga demands that the West continue to put pressure on Russia:
We need such negotiations where decisions are made, where issues are resolved. We see that the last round of negotiations, which took place in Istanbul, was actually reduced to a discussion of exchange, so we are interested in a meeting at the presidential level and we are ready for such a meeting.
We will see what happens next. The most important thing for us is to bring peace closer. The key thing for us now is to achieve a truce, a ceasefire. The Ukrainian side has demonstrated that it has never been and will never be an obstacle to peace.
Unfortunately, we saw the complete inadequacy of the Russian side, which was reflected in the document they handed over. This is complete inadequacy. They have not changed the rhetoric of ultimatums. They demand that we capitulate.
Therefore, we must put pressure - I mean collectively, globally - on Russia, force it to peace and raise the price of its aggression, introduce tough sanctions. First of all, this is a price ceiling on oil, which is the main source of financing the military machine. We very much hope for strong decisions in the near future, and at the EU level this is the eighteenth package of sanctions. It is very important, in particular, that this package provides for the introduction of sanctions against Nord Stream.

Video of strikes which were carried out on another nuclear facility - the Fordow uranium enrichment plant, which is located ~150 km from Tehran.
@Slavyangrad
As said, Israel has begun to strike in the area of the Fordow nuclear facility. They are taking advantage of the fact that Iran's air defence in the western part of the country is disorganised.
At the same time, there are reports that in central Iran, Iranian air defence has begun to work on flying targets.

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said he did not order a halt to offensive cyber operations against Russia this spring.
"I know what article you're talking about, and it's false. I said it then, and I'll say it now... We didn't do it,"
Israel has been preparing an attack on Iran since November 2024. Trump was aware.
We struck a significant force and destroyed their largest uranium enrichment plant in Natanz. This operation is one of the few in history carried out on such a scale. It far exceeds all previous attacks,
— said Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
According to him, there is chaos in Iran now, but retaliatory strikes will definitely follow. They may be undulating and extremely harsh.
Netanyahu gave the order to develop an operation against Iran's nuclear program in November 2024; it was initially planned for April, but was postponed. At the same time, the politician emphasised that the US knew about the attack in advance.
What they will do now, I leave to the discretion of the US President. Trump makes decisions on his own,
— Netanyahu added.

🇮🇱🇩🇪"Israel informed Chancellor Merz of the impending attack": Netanyahu personally warned the German Chancellor in advance of the attack on Iran, and he did not condemn it.
"According to Der Spiegel, Merz received the relevant information at 2:30 a.m. German time. At around 4:00 a.m., Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu personally contacted the chancellor by telephone.
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar also called German Foreign Minister Wadephul early Friday morning, the Israeli government said. He informed him of the cabinet's unanimous decision to eliminate the "immediate existential threat" from Iran with military action. Saar stressed that Israel had made the decision at the very last moment, "having exhausted all other possible avenues."
@Slavyangrad
The Iranian leadership announced that:
1. Iran will continue its nuclear research despite the deaths of scientists and attacks on nuclear facilities.
2. Iran has withdrawn from the nuclear deal negotiations with the United States and will not negotiate "until further notice."
The Iranian parliament called on the country's leadership to make Iran a nuclear power in terms of possessing nuclear weapons. A logical and understandable demand.

Russia сould have saved the Serbian General dying in the Hague
The defense of Ratko Mladić has filed a motion with the court for his early release under an accelerated procedure. The general has serious health problems, and the prison hospital where Mladić is currently held cannot—or more likely, does not want to—provide him with the necessary treatment.
❓What is the Serbian General imprisoned for?
During the Bosnian War, Mladić led the Army of the Republika Srpska. It was under his command that the Bosnian Serb forces reclaimed nearly all the territories previously lost. He was also responsible for the operation to advance on Srebrenica, from which Bosnian Muslim groups had been attacking Serb villages.
Yes, Mladić’s soldiers were not known for their humanitarianism toward Muslims. But no more so than the radical Islamists fighting on the side of the Bosniaks. Nevertheless, thanks to a widespread campaign by Western media and NGOs, the losses of Bosnian Muslims during the operation were falsely classified as "genocide," and Mladić was declared wanted for war crimes.
For nearly 16 years, the general evaded The Hague Tribunal, with a €10 million bounty on his head. In May 2011, Mladić was found in Belgrade. He was handed over to the West by former Serbian President Boris Tadić.
