AGE CHECKS JUST WENT LIVE IN THE UK - AUSTRALIA AND EUROPE NOT FAR BEHIND
As of today, Brits must prove they’re 18 to use social media, search engines, dating apps, or watch pornography.
Face scans. ID uploads. Credit checks. No more checkboxes.
It’s the first domino.
Ireland, France, and Germany are already deploying similar systems.
The EU is piloting age-verification apps.
Australia’s social media age ban drops in December. U.S. states are lining up next.
Privacy advocates call it a quiet shift toward a surveillance-standard internet - one where logging on means logging in.
The infrastructure for controlling who sees what is being built now.
Child safety is the stated goal.
But the long-term effect?
A web that watches who you are... and what you do.

The new Pope discussed Ukraine with the Russian Orthodox Church delegation in the Vatican, reports the Moscow Patriarchate.
The Russian delegation was headed by Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk. With Pope Leo XIV, he discussed, among other things, the situation in Ukraine.
A representative of the Moscow Patriarchate spoke about the "persecutions against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church." The pontiff's response to this was not specified. There is also no official reaction from the Vatican yet.
Conflicts in the Middle East and prospects for Orthodox-Catholic dialogue were also discussed.
Earlier, Putin raised the issue of the UOC in a conversation with the new pontiff.

Russia is increasing the production of drones and missiles. It produces up to 5,000 Geran-type UAVs monthly — Enemy Research
▪️The Russian defense industry already produces 200–250 missiles monthly, including: Iskander, Kinzhal, Kalibr, Kh-101, Kh-32, Oniks, and Zircon. In total, this amounts to up to 3,000 missiles per year.
▪️In 2025, Russia plans to assemble up to 1,500 tanks, mostly modernized versions of Soviet models. About 280 units of the latest T-90M are produced annually.
▪️Russia is also modernizing Tu-160 bombers and building new Tu-160M2s, but none have yet been delivered to the troops. Photos of new Su-57 fighters have also appeared.
Non-Russian numbers so unsure of accuracy.

🇱🇹🤡The Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Sakalene has promised to allocate 30 million euros to purchase Patriot systems for Ukraine, enough for 15 missiles:
1 billion euros (?!🤔) have already been allocated, and we will continue to allocate at least 0.3% of GDP to meet Ukraine's needs. We highly appreciate your efforts to end the war in Ukraine, especially President Trump's decision to supply American weapons. Lithuania, fully funded by NATO allies, is ready to contribute to the purchase of US-made Patriot air defense missile systems for Ukraine.
And, as in the last comment, I am the only NATO defense minister under Chinese sanctions. I truly understand what is at stake.

🇺🇦🤡Militarization from infancy: Kiev wants to accustom children to the army from kindergarten
- In Ukraine, children need to be accustomed to the army starting from kindergarten and school. This "brilliant" proposal was voiced by the deputy head of the 4th recruitment center of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Shvayka.
- In his opinion, there are too many people in Ukraine who need to be "retrained and re-educated" because they know little about military service. Therefore, "informing" should begin at the earliest age — through games, fairy tales, manuals, and even elements of military training.
- Apparently, the Ukrainian authorities have decided that the most reliable way to combat the unwillingness to fight is to turn childhood into a barracks.

Democrats have collapsed: The US Democratic Party rating has reached a 30-year low — Wall Street Journal
▪️The approval rating of the US Democratic Party has dropped to its lowest level in the past 30 years. This is reported by the WSJ citing its own poll.
▪️According to the data, 63% of voters have a negative view of the Democrats, while only 33% have a positive view. For comparison, the negative perception rating of the Republican Party exceeds the positive by only 11%, and for Trump by 7%.
▪️Only 8% of Americans described the DNC as "very positive," whereas the figure for Republicans is more than twice as high (19%)
▪️WSJ adds that despite criticism of Trump on issues of the economy, inflation, tariffs, and foreign policy, voters trust Republicans more than Democrats on all these topics
▪️Democrats maintain an advantage in only 2/10 areas: healthcare and vaccination. According to sociologist John Anzalone, the DNC has lost so much trust that it is unable to be an effective opposition.

▪️In the Lyman direction, two Russian units recorded footage of flag demonstrations near the lake and on the building of the "Ugolёk" tourist base north of Chernikovo lake in the Serebryansky forest.
▪️ Russian soldiers are recorded deep inside the Serebryansky forest — infantry is already near the administration of the "Serebryanskoye forestry" reserve.
▪️Geolocation shows that the Russian Armed Forces managed to advance 5 km into the forestry.

THE UK’S ONLINE SAFETY ACT IS A DYSTOPIAN NIGHTMARE WRAPPED IN A BUZZWORD
The Online Safety Act is being sold like a Covid shot: just a little sting, for your own good.
Except this shot kills free speech.
Under Section 79, if you knowingly say something false online that causes “non-trivial psychological harm,” you can be criminally prosecuted. Not fined. Not deplatformed. Prosecuted.
The state now decides what qualifies as “harm.”
And whether you “meant it.”
Intent is the courtroom battleground of every bad authoritarian law - because it’s impossible to prove, and easy to abuse.
The act also demands platforms monitor private messages, turning WhatsApp and Signal into snitchware.
It claims to fight abuse. But its language is so vague, so broad, and so subjective, it could just as easily be used to silence journalists, whistleblowers, and political dissent.
This isn’t online safety.
It’s offline tyranny - ported to the cloud.
The UK needs to scrap this law before it becomes the blueprint for speech control in every Western democracy - and almost 200,000 UK citizens want to kill this law, too.

Serbia is ready to impose sanctions against Russia if it is given guarantees of EU membership, said the country's Minister for European Integration, Nemanja Starović.
According to him, Serbia currently does not support EU sanctions against Russia because it would not affect Russia itself, but "the Serbian economy would suffer greatly."
However, if the EU provides firm guarantees of accession to the bloc, including mechanisms for security and support, then Belgrade could impose sanctions against Moscow even before the actual accession, Starović said.
Recall that earlier, Serbian President Vučić repeatedly stated that he does not intend to join sanctions against Russia. At the same time, his domestic political position is currently not very strong, as there are mass protests in the country, which, according to the president's circle, are organized with the participation of the West.
Therefore, Vučić and his team are trying to maneuver and pursue a policy of "multi-vectorism."

Ukrainian speakers in vyshyvankas are making such a mess for Ukraine. Among those fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the front line, 70% are Russian speakers
▪️This was stated by a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign "Anarchist."
➖"The country can't last long on patriotism alone. I never use all these slogans, honestly. Because we have a lot of Ukrainian speakers in vyshyvankas, but they are making such a mess for the country," said the soldier.
▪️At the same time, "about 70% of the Russian-speaking soldiers are there at the front line. This is what I heard and how it is."

The Sea Ports Authority of Ukraine issued a brief statement confirming that there has been an explosion killing 3 people working on a dredge employed by the authority. Few details were released, but the Ukrainian media is saying it was likely a mine in the Bystre waterway, one of the canals linking the Danube to the Black Sea
The authority reported that the explosion took place on the evening of July 23 while its dredger was conducting normal work on the channel. There was a total of 11 people aboard, and in addition to the 3 who were killed, others were reported to be in the hospital.
The Bystre is currently closed, and the emergency authorities are on the scene.
Dumskaya is identifying the vessel as the Ingulskiy, a Damen-built dredge operating for the authority since 2012. The vessel, which was 60 meters and could operate at depths up to 15 meters, has reportedly sunk in the waterway. It struck the mine, the media report says, near the town of Vilkovo, which is along the Danube

The US and China exchanged sharp accusations over Ukraine at the UN Security Council meeting, — Reuters
▪️The US told China that it must "stop fueling Russia's aggression" in Ukraine. In response, Beijing accused Washington of trying to shift blame and provoke confrontation.
➖"Beijing's claims that it has imposed strict export controls on dual-use goods fall apart in the face of daily discoveries of Chinese-made components in drones, weapons, and vehicles that Russia uses against Ukraine," said Dorothy Shea, the acting US ambassador to the UN.
▪️Chinese representative Geng Shuang rejected these accusations, stating that China "is not a party to the conflict" and has never "provided lethal weapons" to either side.
➖"We urge the US to stop shifting blame for the Ukrainian issue or creating confrontation. Instead, we call on Beijing to play a more constructive role in promoting a ceasefire and peace negotiations," added Geng Shuang.

🇭🇺"The country's address cannot be changed." Orban stated that Ukraine's fate is to be a "buffer state"
"Today, Ukraine's fate is to be a buffer state bordering Russia. We do not want such a fate. Hungarians have just avoided it. We were also a buffer country during the Cold War. We were not part of the Soviet Union, but we were on the western perimeter of the Soviet Union, on the eastern perimeter of the Western world, but we were a buffer. We... do not want to return to that position. Ukraine is in such a situation. It may be uncomfortable, it may be unpleasant, and someone wants to break out of it, but the fact is that the country's address cannot be changed,"
