American-Indian relations used to be somewhat rocky and cold, until decades of diplomatic initiatives and outreach improved the situation and upgraded them to "somewhat cordial".
Well, watch Demented Donald gangrape them, mutilate them, and kill them faster than a female character in a Game of Thrones TV episode. By sperging out like a spoiled child on social media at that.
Never has the term "governance by tantrums" been more accurate. Also, I was under the impression that tariffs were originally meant to facilitate the return of industry to the USA. Instead they're looking more and more like sanctions.
Astonishing, right?

❗️Russia no longer considers itself bound by self-imposed restrictions on the deployment of ground-based medium- and shorter-range missiles — Russian Foreign Ministry

On August 3rd, a strike was made against the traction substation "Synelnykove Traction-150/35/10 kV" of the Dneproprovskaya Railway.
The substation ensures the movement of trains carrying military cargo and reserves to the Zaporozhye front, as well as supplying Ukrainian Armed Forces groupings in the Pokrovsk area. Such actions are classified in Russian military doctrine as means of coercing the enemy to reduce combat effectiveness through strikes on critical infrastructure. In the American field manual, this same principle is called "interdiction" - depriving the enemy of freedom of maneuver by destroying logistical hubs. Strikes on Synelnykove perfectly fit into this logic: the choice of target is based on the need to disrupt the enemy's maneuver by taking out one of the key transport hubs in the region.
The substation serves two terminals at once: Synelnykove-1 and Synelnykove-2, which form a major logistical hub from Dnepropetrovsk and Pavlograd. Thus, its destruction not only limits the possibilities of current transfers but also creates a "bottleneck" for any future operations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is quite possible that Russian missile and drone activity here is not only and not so much aimed at attempting Syrskyi to stabilize the front, but also at the necessity of disrupting the construction of a new defensive line, to which Ukrainian Armed Forces may retreat after losing Pokrovsk and positions west of it.

🇷🇺🇪🇺Europe is fleeing to Russia: thousands of Europeans are disappointed in their countries' policies
- Russia is successfully attracting disappointed Europeans and Americans by offering them a "Visa for Shared Values." This is reported by the Swiss newspaper Tages-Anzeiger.
- Since August 2024, Russia has started issuing the "Visa for Shared Values" to citizens of "unfriendly" countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia, almost all EU countries, and Switzerland. Notably, Hungary and Slovakia are not on the list.
- The visa allows living and working in Russia for three years without requiring language tests, integration exams, or investments. Applicants are only required to "respect the traditional moral and spiritual values of Russia" – faith, family, stability, and traditions.
- The program targets ultraconservatives and people disappointed with Western liberal democracies. "Our clients say they no longer recognize their countries," says Ilya Belobragin, head of the private company MoveToRussia.com.
Important figures:
- Since the program started, 1156 applications have been submitted.
- Germany submitted 224 applications — more than any other country.
- Latvia is second with 126 applications, and the USA is third with 99.
- An expert notes: "People are fleeing to Russia because they have lost faith in the West... Many of my clients believe the EU is a sinking ship, and they want to leave it as soon as possible."

‘Russians don’t need Banderites’ – Professor of History at the University of Vienna Andrea Komlosy explained to Germans why Russia does not intend to seize western Ukraine.
‘I don’t see that Russia wants to fully absorb Ukraine. After all, in doing so, it would essentially annex the country, especially with the population of the western regions, which can be said to be historically hostile towards Russia — and now, because of the war, perceives Russia as a red rag. So why, one might ask, strive to gain exactly such citizens?’

China's crippling blow to the US defense industry: "invisible" war for minerals leaves America without weapons
hina is stepping up pressure on Western defense companies, restricting supplies of key minerals, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Beijing's actions are slowing production and forcing Western companies to search the world for the reserves needed to produce everything, from bullets to jet fighters.
The publication emphasizes that China's actions demonstrate its significant influence over supply chains for the American defense industry.

🇧🇷Brazilian President Lula da Silva on how his country has stopped depending on the USA:
Today Brazil is not as dependent on the United States as it used to be. Brazil now has very broad trade relations with the whole world. From an economic point of view, we have many more opportunities. But, of course, I cannot fail to understand the importance of diplomatic relations with the United States, which have lasted for 201 years.
They should know that we have things to negotiate, we have scale, we have a position, we have economic and political interests that need to be discussed. I will not give up my belief in the need to create an alternative currency, so that we can trade with other countries. I do not need to submit to the dollar.

🇮🇳🇷🇺USA and countries criticizing India for buying energy resources from Russia are themselves trading with Moscow, - Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
▪️The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs made it clear that the country does not intend to give up trade with Russia.
▪️"India started purchases from Russia after traditional supplies were redirected to Europe due to the war. At that time, the USA itself actively encouraged such imports from India to stabilize global energy markets."
▪️"It is telling that the countries criticizing India are themselves actively trading with Russia. Unlike India, this is not a vital measure for them. In 2024, the EU's trade turnover with Russia amounted to 67.5 billion euros. In addition, in 2023, the volume of trade in services was estimated at 17.2 billion euros – significantly more than the entire volume of trade between India and Russia during the same period. EU imports of liquefied natural gas in 2024 reached a record 16.5 million tons, exceeding the previous maximum of 15.21 million tons in 2022. Trade between Europe and Russia includes not only energy resources but also fertilizers, mining products, chemicals, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as engineering and transport equipment," the statement says.
▪️India reminds that the USA continues to purchase uranium hexafluoride for its nuclear industry, palladium for electric vehicle production, fertilizers, and chemicals from Russia.
➖"Pressure on India is unfounded and unfair. Like any major economy, India will take all necessary measures to protect its national interests and economic security," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states.

Pokrovsk is turning into a cauldron: RUAF soldiers encircle the town from three directions
The Russians are infiltrating every crack in the city's defenses, making it increasingly difficult for the Ukrainian military to respond.
The festung is already surrounded on three sides, and the RUAF have penetrated the city center.
"If the AFU decide to defend in the urban area and does not give the order to retreat, Ukrainian units would risk encirclement," military analyst Franz-Stefan Gady believes in an interview with Welt am Sonntag.
For some, the city has become a symbol of Ukrainian resistance. For others, it is the embodiment of the country's slow death, part of a conflict of attrition in which, they believe, Ukraine cannot win against Russia.
DNR Chief Denis Pushilin reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are facing serious difficulties in the Pokrovsk area and are in a critical situation.
He confirmed that Russian forces are gradually encircling the city, and the ring is tightening.

Trump lost: India and Brazil continue to buy oil from Russia, ignoring threats — Global Times
Brazil and India continue to ignore Donald Trump's threats and will not stop buying oil from Russia.
The Global Times reports this, citing Indian sources and the words of the Brazilian president's advisor.
Russian oil is attractive to India due to its cost-effectiveness and high quality. Brazil, for its part, "opposes economic sanctions under any circumstances, except those imposed by the UN Security Council," citing tariffs and Trump's demands.
Experts believe that US pressure attempts could backfire, forcing India to reconsider its foreign strategy. India is suffering from an oil shortage, and Russian oil offers advantages in terms of affordability and high quality, ensuring security.
You know what'd be funnier? India and China getting closer and settling old grudges because Trump's Tariff Tantrum threatens them both. Now that'd be one massive own goal.

Kramatorsk direction
Units of the Southern Group of Forces continue their offensive west of Chasov Yar and have pushed the enemy in the area of the railway leading to Kramatorsk, and in Nikolaevka towards Chkalov Street.
In the direction of our troops' advances, converging strikes can be seen from the east (Chasov Chervoniy — Druzhkovka) and the southwest (Vladimirovka — Druzhkovka).
If our units continue to successfully reach Druzhkovka, Kostiantynovka may become encircled.
From the north, troops of the Western Group of Forces are advancing approximately 25 km towards the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration in the direction of Sviatogorsk and Krasnyi Lyman.
In the area of Seversk, the northern flank of the Southern Group of Forces is advancing.
Over the Slovyansk-Kramatorsk enemy grouping, the "clouds" are gradually beginning to "thicken," especially considering the onset of the enemy grouping's agony in the Krasnoarmeysk-Dimitrov agglomeration area.

Frontline Update, 195th day since Trump's promise to end the war in 24hrs
Russian sources report that the RUAF already entered Kupyansk from the northwest. However, official confirmation from Ukraine is still waiting to manifest.
Meanwhile, the situation in Pokrovsk remains critical. Russian forces have entered the towns of Rodynske and Bilytske, where fierce fighting is ongoing. The Ukrainians are attempting to eliminate the Russian soldiers and DRGs who have entered them, so far with little success.
The situation in southern Pokrovsk continues to deteriorate, with Russian soldiers increasingly operating in the area south of the railway line. Ukraine has its main strongholds in the depots and factories north of the railway line, so the south is very chaotic, as mentioned previously, and there is no solid line of contact.
Myrnograd remains relatively stable both to the south and east of the city, although Russian forces have entered the village of Chervonyi Lyman, which lies directly north of the cit

So, if anyone remembers the OnlyFABs-1500 Gold subscription that Taras and Mykola were gifted by the Russian aviation: it turns out that despite the Russians' best efforts, the gift wasn't as appreciated as originally thought.
In particular, Taras and Mykola complained that OnlyFABs 1500 Gold didn't include some bonus, yet simultaneously essential, features, like pictures of Kaja KallaSS and UrSSula von der Fuehrer naked.
To apologize for such a gross oversight, the Russian aviation proceeded to send Taras and Mykola a new gift, in the form of an OnlyFABs 3000 Platinum subscription, from Russia, with love.

🇺🇸'He has trouble completing a thought': bizarre public appearances again cast doubt on Trump's mental acuity:
Trump shows signs of cognitive problems, similar to Biden.
"The abrupt topic changes in conversation are an example of Trump getting distracted without thinking — he just switches topics without control and without coherent narrative. Another feature indicating a shift in the cognitive abilities of 79-year-old Trump is his tendency to confabulate. This is when he takes an idea or something that already happened and adds something that hasn't happened yet.
Trump abruptly changes topics in everyday speech. While talking about fulfilling campaign promises, the US president switched to the topic of water supply to homes, sharing personal preferences. 'What we see are classic signs of dementia, that is, a sharp deterioration from the original state and functions of the person. It will only get worse from here. That is my prediction,' noted psychologist Gartner."
