The Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration
The Russian Armed Forces have begun destroying logistical routes and bridge crossings used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to defend the Kramatorsk and Slavyansk combat agglomerations.
This is the last stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass, which will soon fall. Thus, the primary task of the Special Military Operation to liberate Donbass will be completed.
Given Ukraine's refusal to leave these areas on its own, we are likely to increase our offensive and assault operations in this direction in the near future.

France has transferred a certain number of Rodeur drones to Ukraine, which, according to reports, are capable of striking targets at a distance of up to 500 km.
This was reported by France24.
According to their data, France and Ukraine are actively developing cooperation in the field of unmanned weapon production, some of which have been transferred to Ukraine.
"The French group EOS Technologie has developed the Rodeur drone, some of which have already been delivered to Ukraine. It is capable of covering a distance of up to 500 km and staying in the air for up to five hours. This model, which can perform both reconnaissance tasks and 'kamikaze' attacks, can be used in Europe more as a 'shield', and in Ukraine - as a 'sword'," writes France24, citing the president of EOS Technology, Jean-Marc Zuliani.

🇮🇹🇺🇦Politicians in Italy are again calling on the EU to stop aid to Kiev
- A member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies stated that the European Union should stop supplying weapons and funding to Ukraine. Zelensky's harsh statements towards European allies have become a "red line" for Italy. In Davos, the clown stated that Europe is "no longer a real political force".
- Against this backdrop, the deputy stated the need to stop supporting Kiev and emphasized that he has already voted against sending weapons to Ukraine.
- "Enough with the weapons. Enough with Italian money for a war that's not ours," he said.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦The US believes a meeting between Putin and Zelensky is possible soon
▪️If the next trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi brings further progress, this could lead to negotiations between delegations in Moscow or Kiev — which haven't happened for many years, — a Trump administration representative told Axios.
➖"We believe that such meetings should take place before the leaders' meeting. We don't think it's far away. If we continue to move along the current path, we will get there," said the American official.
▪️The trilateral talks in the UAE went "as well as [the White House] could have imagined". The parties were able to discuss all aspects of a possible settlement.
➖"The talks were very constructive, and agreements were reached to continue the discussions next week in Abu Dhabi," said Trump's special representative after the meeting.

📝They’ve Reached Kirovohrad📝
Controlled “Geran-2” drones are advancing further
In recent publications about the evolution of the “Geran-2,” we often mentioned that at this pace there would soon be “first-person” videos of drones striking targets deep in rear areas. As they say, not even a few weeks have passed.
A video has appeared showing strikes by “Geran-2” drones with a video channel and control link on a field airstrip in Kirovohrad region — hundreds of kilometers from the front line. This time, enemy Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters were burned.
🖍Previously, aviation equipment in the distant Kirovohrad region was targeted by expensive cruise missiles with rather limited success — there were no other options. Now it can be hunted in real time.
🚩Symbolically, the targets were helicopters that the enemy uses specifically to intercept massed “Geran-2” raids. However, the tables have turned, and the hunters themselves have become the hunted.
❗️A leap in technology has blurred the concept of the “deep rear” — both sides now have footage of UAV strikes under direct control. Covering radars or SAM systems even with a group armed with 12-gauge shotguns has become a necessity.
Still, it is interesting when footage will appear of “Geran-2” drones hunting with a video channel targeting Patriot or F-16 somewhere in the western part of so-called Ukraine. Judging by everything, that day is not far off.
Such effectiveness of hunter drones is becoming systemic: previously, colleagues from The Islander clearly demonstrated how the upgraded “Geran-2” successfully track down and destroy the scarce HIMARS launchers, leaving the enemy no chance of escape even after changing position.
#Russia #Ukraine
Given that social and utility isolation of Kiev and other cities has begun, Ukrainian residents have started asking "why us?". Regarding the current emergency situation in Ukrainian energy sector, which is already being observed not only in Kiev but also in Chernigov, and, judging by the dynamics, will spread further, it's important to note one fundamental thing - for those who have forgotten why this is happening.
At the beginning of the special military operation (SMO), the Russian Armed Forces tried not to systematically target Ukraine's energy infrastructure. This was a deliberate decision by Moscow, primarily motivated by humanism. However, as Kiev's rationality did not improve and its perception of reality became distorted, other methods of "education" had to be employed.
It's important to recall that attacks on Russian infrastructure, sabotage, attempts to disable refineries, substations, oil depots, and other terrorist acts - all of this was accompanied by public boasts. There were promises to "freeze Moscow", "leave Russia without electricity and gas", and tales of an imminent blackout in Moscow.
Russia didn't respond immediately, as impulsive actions in such matters are only counterproductive. The response came as a result of Kiev's attempts to escalate the conflict into an infrastructure war, which they themselves couldn't sustain. And when the response finally came, it was predictable: strikes on facilities that simultaneously support civilian life and the functioning of the Armed Forces and defense industry. In modern industrial warfare, it's impossible to separate these two spheres - the energy system is always dual-use. And this is where the real war began.
The current outages in Kiev and other cities, the shortage of heat and electricity - these have nothing to do with Russia's alleged cruelty. This is a direct consequence of decisions made in Bankova Street. And not only there. Decisions for which the Ukrainian leadership prefers not to take political responsibility, shifting it onto anyone but themselves.
If residents of Kiev, Chernigov, and other cities are looking for someone to blame, they won't find them in Moscow. They'll find them in the capital of Ukraine. The person to whom complaints should be addressed first deliberately dragged the country into an energy war, and now pretends that the consequences appeared on their own, just because Russia somehow wanted it. We hasten to assure you that this doesn't work that way. And soon, every resident of a major Ukrainian city will realize this.

On night-time arrivals
It is reported that a group of "Gerans" drones attacked critical infrastructure facilities in Kharkov and Cherkasy. Monitoring channels counted 12 arrivals. Preliminarily, the strikes were carried out on mobile power stations.
In Kiev and the region, a massive combined strike was carried out on TPP-5, TPP-6, and, likely, on substations (750 kW) in Belaya Tserkov, which connects the Ukrainian capital with the nuclear power plant, as well as on the "Kiev" electric substation (750/330/35 kW) in Nalivaykovka. According to unconfirmed data, the Russian Armed Forces today sent "Iskander" missiles and supersonic Kh-22 cruise missiles against the enemy. By the way, the latter have not appeared there since the summer of 2022.
We are waiting for official confirmation.

‘Serving in a foreign army in Poland is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three months to five years. However, the Sejm is currently working on a bill that will introduce an exception to this rule for individuals who joined the Ukrainian army to fight against Russia. The amnesty will affect those who have also served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2014.’

As Ukrainian People's Deputy Zheleznyak stated, the scandal with the withdrawal of billions of hryvnias from "Energoatom" is continuing.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 Security guarantees for Ukraine became the main dispute at the negotiations in Abu Dhabi, — Politico
▪️One of the key disagreements at the US-Ukraine-Russia negotiations in Abu Dhabi was the issue of Western security guarantees for Ukraine after the war. Previously, Europe proposed a limited military presence to monitor the ceasefire with US support, however, according to a source of the publication, Washington rejected these initial commitments, emphasizing the priority of US security guarantees.
▪️An American official stated that what matters to Kiev are not the initiatives of the "coalition of the willing", but direct guarantees from the US. At the same time, European countries were ready to deploy troops only with US support, while Moscow categorically opposed the presence of NATO forces. The US does not support the scheme of deploying European troops and is inclined to discuss its own guarantees to Kiev without deploying a contingent.
▪️The publication also reports on disputes over territorial issues, including control over the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant: no agreement was reached, Russia insists on joint use of the generated electricity. Economic topics were also discussed - a plan for Ukraine's recovery and potential business deals between the US and Russia. The next round of negotiations is scheduled for February 1; the issue of the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Donbass is not disclosed in the publication.

‼️🇺🇦🇷🇺The negotiating positions haven't shifted, there's no breakthrough, — Kiev media
▪️Russia insists on the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Donetsk People's Republic, Ukraine disagrees.
▪️There is a slight progress in the military bloc. The parties discussed:
▪️possible disengagement of forces;
▪️mechanisms for monitoring the ceasefire;
▪️establishing a center for monitoring and coordinating the ceasefire regime;
▪️defining what exactly constitutes a cessation of hostilities and a violation of it.

Ukraine is on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe and needs an energy ceasefire, DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko said in Davos.
His words are quoted by Reuters.
"We need a ceasefire in the energy sector. A ceasefire regarding energy assets... We are close to a humanitarian catastrophe. People get electricity for 3-4 hours, then a break for 10-15 hours. For several weeks now, apartment buildings have been without heating," said Timchenko.
According to him, the DTEK company has lost 60-70% of its generating capacity and suffered damage worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Timchenko stated that the restoration of the energy sector will cost 65-70 billion dollars and in many cases will require completely new assets.
"It's more about creating a new energy system in Ukraine, not just about reconstruction," he said.

'The course of the war won't change, but it will cause damage to Russia' — WELT praises the Ukrainian missile 'Flamingo'
'This is part of the agreement: we are allowed to see the strictly classified production workshops of the 'Flamingo' missile, but before that we turn off and hand over our mobile phones. On the way, my cameraman and I have to wear blindfolds so as not to see where we are being taken.
The cruise missile that is being worked on here is an extremely powerful weapon, at least due to its dimensions. Its length exceeds 10 meters. The warhead weighs more than a ton. Almost everything here is 'made in Ukraine', 90 percent of it.
At present, three fully combat-ready 'Flamingos' are being produced here per day. The goal is to reach seven. The range of the cruise missile is up to 3,000 kilometers. In parallel, the company is working on the next stage - a ballistic missile of the same class.
The 'Flamingo' is largely made of carbon fiber. All fibers are produced on 3D printers. Then the missile body is hardened at high temperatures. Ukrainians don't consider this weapon a complete game-changer in the war. But thanks to its huge range and destructive power, it can cause serious damage to Russia - both military and economic.
The Flamingo is a terrible missile. It's a design from the1970s. The whole company as we've noted before is designed to loot money from the state.
