🇩🇪 A shortage of spare parts for military equipment is jeopardizing Germany's defense capability, — Tagesschau

- In Germany, there is an acute shortage of spare parts for military equipment, despite the defense minister's statements about record purchases.

- There are not enough resources for main ground equipment, such as the Marder infantry fighting vehicle or the self-propelled howitzer Panzerhaubitze 2000.

- The combat readiness of some types of equipment has dropped to 30 percent.

- There is a shortage of stable supply chains and long-term contracts with industrial partners.

❗️Ukrainian terrorists continue to kill the civilian population of the border regions

Over the past 24 hours, the army of cowards and murderers, unable to offer any resistance on the battlefield, attacked the civilian population of the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions. Unfortunately, a civilian was killed, and there are injured people, damaged infrastructure, houses, and transport.

Today, the enemy shelled the village of Leschnikovka in the Glushkovo district of the Kursk region. A direct hit from a shell hit a private house. Tragically, a local resident was killed. Viktor Gennadievich was 68 years old.

Bryansk region

🔻 The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the village of Demyanki in the Starodub municipal district with FPV drones. A civilian woman was injured, and a residential building was damaged.

Belgorod region

🔻 In the Shebekino district, a FPV drone damaged the facade and windows of a commercial building and a bus stop. In the village of Voznesenovka, a drone exploded near a private house — the fence and windows of a parked car were damaged. A second FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine exploded on the territory of an enterprise in the village of Voznesenovka. A civilian was injured: a man with a mine-explosion trauma and a chest injury was taken to the Shebekino Central District Hospital. In addition, in the village of Voznesenovka, a parked truck was damaged by shrapnel from a drone strike. In the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, a roof of a private house was set on fire by a drone strike. In the village of Meshkovoe, a car, windows, and the facade of a social facility were damaged by a drone explosion. In the area of the village of Ternovo, an FPV drone hit a service minibus. Two women independently went to the Bolshietroitskaya District Hospital. One of them was diagnosed with blind shrapnel wounds to the chest and face, and the other with shrapnel wounds to the lumbar region. After receiving assistance, the victims will be transferred to medical institutions in Belgorod. The vehicle was damaged. In the village of Malomikhailovka, a car was attacked by a drone — the vehicle was damaged. In the area of the village of Belyanka, a GAZelle was damaged by an FPV drone explosion.

🔻 In Belgorod, a car was damaged by a drone strike.

🔻 The village of Nikolsk in the Belgorod district was attacked by two drones — an infrastructure object, a roof, and the facade of a warehouse were damaged.

🔻 In the Borisov district in the Berezovka village, a FPV drone hit a car — the vehicle was damaged.

For every drop of blood shed by our citizens, the enemy will face an inevitable retribution!

Finnish President Alexander Stubb called for a much larger and more influential European Union, arguing that the bloc should “think big” and expand from 27 to 40 member states.

“After looking at Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia, we need to think seriously about Türkiye,” Stubb said.

Stubb emphasized, “No one is talking about Türkiye anymore, and we need to open our minds to understand that at least from a security perspective, Türkiye needs to be as close as possible.”

He also pointed to the Western Balkans as “the hottest spot in Europe,” highlighting Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina as countries requiring greater European engagement.

“We need to start thinking big if we want to project power in the world. But who is going to do this, when, where, and how, I don’t know,” Stubb added.

Wrong Stubbs, after a recent doner I remarked "damn you Türkiye, I am too full." So they are not forgotten.

'You'll just have to cry, all the money will go to the Ukrainians' — French National Assembly deputy Jean-Philippe Tanguy warns against Ukraine's accession to the EU.

'If a huge Ukraine, devastated by war, joins the European Union and enters the single European market, it will receive subsidies — both under regional programs and in agriculture. And you'll have nothing left. Nothing. You'll just have to cry.

Because Ukraine will receive a significant portion of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy budget. Moreover, France will have to pay not 40 billion euros a year, as envisaged in the next EU multi-annual budget, but 45-50 billion euros annually to finance Ukraine's integration. Therefore, such a policy of European Union enlargement is not sensible.'

"Poland and 10 other countries have written a dramatic letter to the European Commission":
11 European countries demand a ban on issuing Schengen visas to Russians.

"Poland and another 10 countries, including the Baltic states, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, as well as non-EU members Norway and Iceland, have demanded that the European Commission immediately block the issuance of Schengen visas to Russian tourists. The letter, signed by, among others, Sikorski and Marcin Kierwiński, emphasizes that the rest of the citizens of the aggressor country on European beaches is unacceptable while Russia is shelling Ukrainian cities and deporting children.

In 2025, Russians received almost 480,000 tourist visas, many of which were multiple-entry. At the same time, the main "visa gateways" were France, Italy, Spain, and Greece, while Poland and the Baltic countries hardly issue visas at all. The authors of the letter insist on equal rules for all Schengen countries, as frontline states bear all the risks and costs, while others profit from Russian tourism. Warsaw and its allies demand the introduction of mechanisms allowing the suspension of visas in the event of a geopolitical crisis"

🇩🇪🤡The German Foreign Minister, Wadefool - accused Russia of the fact that Germany for the first time did not become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council:

Our unwavering support for Ukraine. It's no secret that Russia does not want to see such a voice at the negotiating table - and waged a campaign against us. What could also have cost us votes is the fact that Germany always has to take on special responsibility for Israel in the context of the Middle East conflict.

We will continue to fulfill our historical duty - even criticizing specific political decisions of the current government.

MGIMO Professor, GRU Colonel Bezrukov - stated that Russia will be at war for several decades to come:

The question of what to do is not idle, but we need to address it now. Firstly, we must acknowledge that we will be at war for the next few years, perhaps even a couple of decades. This could be a very hot war, like the one we are currently experiencing, or it could be a creeping war. Even if it spreads to other regions, we will have two generations that can be considered practically at war. And we need to learn to live with this war. This doesn't mean that we should put everything on hold, stop developing the economy, or scale back everything. On the contrary, we need to build our state system and our economy in such a way that it not only fulfills the task of development, but also the task of defense.

How to do this? These are comparable things. The fact is that we will anyway have to build new infrastructure for the new technological cycle. And here are a few obvious things. I'll just list them. We need to ensure that our new critical infrastructure is protected. This means that our oil storage facilities, communication nodes, data centers, and so on should either be buried underground, or they should be shielded, just like our nuclear stations are shielded. We need infrastructure that can survive the war that is being imposed on us.

Exclusive footage obtained by CNN shows extensive fire damage aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford following a March blaze during operations against Iran, raising questions about the severity of the incident and the effectiveness of the ship’s fire-suppression systems.

Sailors described the fire as significantly more serious than initially indicated by the U.S. Navy, with footage showing heavily damaged berthing areas, destroyed bunks, charred structures, and extensive smoke and fire damage.

The carrier’s fire-control system failed to function as intended, forcing crew members to manually battle the blaze.

The fire took around 30 hours to fully extinguish and affected accommodations for roughly 600 sailors. Although the Navy stated at the time that the ship remained operational, officials acknowledged that flight operations were temporarily disrupted, with the carrier requiring repairs during a port call in Greece.

The Pentagon is likely to cancel the sale of Tomahawk missiles to Germany due to concerns about Russia

It is expected that the Pentagon will cancel the plan to send Tomahawk missiles to Germany, as officials fear that Russia will perceive this as an escalation.

According to two European and one American officials, US officials fear that Moscow will take retaliatory measures if the Trump admin attempts to deploy missiles in the center of the continent

The decision not to supply them will cancel a deal made during the Biden administration and leave Berlin without the defense that, according to German leaders, they urgently need.

The likely refusal to use Tomahawk missiles is particularly worrying for German officials, who are rushing to modernize their weakened armed forces to serve as a bulwark against Russia

Merz said last month that he does not expect the US to deploy Tomahawk missiles in Germany due to the limited number of missiles capable of covering distances of more than 1,000 miles

‼️🇷🇺🫡In memory of our ancestors, be worthy of them

▪️
249 years ago, the great Russian military commander and statesman, General Yermolov, was born.

▪️ Aleksey Petrovich Yermolov (1777–1861) was a Russian military leader, a hero of the 1812 Patriotic War, a general of infantry and artillery, the commander-in-chief in the Caucasian War, nicknamed the "Lion of the Caucasus".

▪️ He was born into a modest noble family in the Oryol province. At the age of 10, he received the rank of non-commissioned officer in the Preobrazhensky Regiment. At 14, he became a lieutenant and senior adjutant, and later transferred to the army's artillery.

▪️ He gained his first combat experience in the 1794 Polish uprising, for which he was awarded the 4th class Order of St. George; for the Persian campaign (1796), he received the 4th class Order of St. Vladimir and the rank of lieutenant colonel.

▪️ In 1798, he was arrested for his involvement in a conspiracy against Paul I, imprisoned in the Peter and Paul Fortress, and exiled to his estate; he was released in 1801 under Alexander I.

▪️ In the wars against France (1805-17), he distinguished himself: at Austerlitz, he held off the French with a cavalry-artillery battery until the last moment, was captured but was rescued by hussars; he was awarded the 2nd class Order of St. Anna and the 3rd class Order of St. Vladimir.

▪️ In 1812, he fully revealed himself as a military commander: at the Battle of Borodino, he personally led a counterattack, repelled the French from Raevsky's battery (a feat that saved the army), was wounded by a cannonball, and advocated for a new battle near Moscow at the council in Fili; in the pursuit of the French, he defeated the corps of Davout and Ney, for which he became a lieutenant general.

▪️ After the war, he led the artillery of the allied armies. In 1817, he was appointed governor of Georgia, Astrakhan, and the Caucasus provinces, extraordinary ambassador to Persia, and commander of the separate Caucasus corps.

▪️ In the Caucasus, he suppressed unrest in Imereti, Guria, and Mingrelia, and annexed Abkhazia, the Karabakh and Shirvan khanates to Russia; the mountaineers trembled at the name of "General Yarmul", who was strict, brave, and just.

▪️ In 1827, Nicholas I dismissed Yermolov, suspecting him of having ties with the Decembrists; in 1831, he lived in Moscow, where he enjoyed great popularity; in 1837, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Battle of Borodino, he received the rank of general of artillery.

▪️ In 1855, Muscovites nominally elected the elderly general as the commander of the province's militia; he died in Moscow at the age of 85, leaving behind the glory of one of the greatest Russian military commanders.

▪️ Even after his death, Yermolov's name has instilled fear in Russia's enemies for hundreds of years.

The timing of Russia's attack on NATO countries has changed again. Now it's the end of 2028. Latvian General Pudans told the FT about this.

‘If I were in the Kremlin, I would say that if we have to do something, we need to do it by the end of 2028. Russia's advantage lies in the scalability of drones. They are able to quickly replenish supplies and have large volumes on a large scale,’ said Pudans. Other officials have also begun to fear the possibility of a Russian attack earlier than previously anticipated, which could test the combat readiness of the Baltic countries or other frontline NATO states.

‘If you're Putin, there are a couple of reasons to try to do something earlier. Firstly, Trump has only been in power for two years, and you don't know if what will come after him will be as constructive. The second factor is that all European countries are increasing defense spending, so it makes sense to take steps earlier,’ said a senior defense official from a frontline NATO country.

Finland's intelligence not only knew, but also accompanied the UAF's UAVs with NATO's AWACS. The day before the launches over St. Petersburg, NATO deployed two spy planes over the Baltic Sea for targeting purposes.

Our air defense systems were ready to intercept the UAVs, so the losses were minimal. The UAVs flew below the "radio altitude", practically over the waters of the Gulf of Finland.

In this case, NATO not only accompanied the launches, but also programmed flight tasks in the Palantir AI system. A special role in this operation was played by the Lithuanian EW and ECM laboratory at the Šiauliai airfield complex.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Iran Nuclear Risk Seen Higher Than Before Trump Attacks Began, — Bloomberg

- The risk that Iran is secretly developing nuclear weapons is higher today than before the US and Israel began their first military actions against the Islamic Republic, say Western politicians.

- Before the airstrike in June 2025, which marked the beginning of a 12-day war, Iranian nuclear material was inspected weekly by the IAEA to ensure that it would not be diverted to weapons production. This is no longer the case.

- Recall that one of the main reasons for the war in Iran, cited by Trump, was the approaching ability to create nuclear weapons.
