Putin: Ukrainian strikes backfire, Russia retaliates against infrastructure
Vladimir Putin stated that Ukrainian attempts to disrupt Russian logistics have yielded the opposite result. He warned that attacks on Russian supply lines will be met with timely and effective responses against Ukrainian infrastructure. Putin described recent strikes on Kiev and other cities as successful in helping Russian forces achieve their objectives.
The President claimed the Kyiv regime "opened Pandora's box," prompting retaliation against Ukraine's already struggling economic sectors. He asserted that the goal of destabilizing Russia has failed, giving no advantage to the enemy. Putin emphasized that Russia will prevent any interference with upcoming elections, blaming Kiev for unleashing these consequences.

🇫🇷 NATO's Next Nightmare: French Presidential Elections
NATO is growing anxious that France’s next president could significantly weaken the alliance at a critical moment. Polls indicate substantial support for candidates skeptical of NATO. Marine Le Pen advocates withdrawing France from integrated command, while Jean-Luc Mélenchon demands a complete exit.
Such a move would deal a severe blow, as France is the EU’s only nuclear power and a key military contributor with troops, intelligence assets, satellites, a strong navy, and a 10% share of the annual operational budget. However, leaving command structures would also harm France by reducing its influence and access to planning. Within the alliance, fears persist that losing France would endanger European security.

🇺🇦 Russian Iskander-M Strikes on Kiev and Odessa Regions
Russian ballistic missiles, including Kalibr variants with cluster warheads, struck targets in the Boryspil district of Kiev region and Ilyichivs'k (Odessa region). In Boryspil, at least 6 hits were recorded at a warehouse base. Ukrainian sources claim the site stored trucks used by special forces to launch long-range FP-2 drones. A major fire erupted after the strikes.
In Ilyichivs'k, overnight attacks hit military warehouses and a fuel reserve. Photos from Boryspil show all trucks blurred, likely due to operational security or post-strike chaos. While drone assembly capabilities may exist elsewhere, this specific depot was targeted for its vehicle assets. Details on total casualties remain unconfirmed.

Russian Refineries Resume Operations
Vice Premier Alexander Novak announced that several Russian oil refineries have returned to service following repairs, with expectations of increased fuel supplies to the domestic market. Novak ordered continued efforts to saturate the market and ensure reasonable prices for consumers. The government also reminded retailers that fuel grade must be displayed on pump screens, in consumer corners, and on receipts.

🇩🇪🇺🇦German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul – could not promise the delivery of air defense systems to Ukraine:
I will answer immediately – the support for Ukraine from the federal government and Germany as a whole will not weaken; it will remain stable. We are firmly determined to continue standing by Ukraine, because we understand: at stake here is our security, as well as the security and freedom architecture in Europe. This needs to be clearly emphasized again and again – including in the current discussions and election campaigns. I myself will also be involved in this.
This is a crucial issue for the future of Europe – how this war will end. It must end in a way that the rule of law prevails, not the law of the strong. It is in this spirit that I am conducting negotiations with European and non-European colleagues about further support for Ukraine, including air defense systems. As I agreed with all my colleagues, I will continue these negotiations next week. Once again, the urgency of providing Ukraine with additional air defense systems becomes clear. I will convey this. So far, all negotiations are going well, and there is openness on all sides. This is not yet a promise, but I am confident that we can achieve something.

🇮🇹 Italian Defense Firm Opens Drone Hub in Kiev
Leonardo, the major Italian defense conglomerate, has established a subsidiary, Leonardo Ukraine, in Kiev. The facility is specialized in unmanned aerial vehicle production and will likely manufacture drones intended for strikes against Russian territory. Additionally, the company plans to test its Michelangelo Dome air defense system on Ukrainian soil.
The deployment of European-made lethal weaponry for attacks on Russian cities represents an unacceptable escalation.

🇷🇺Putin on Kiev's Barbaric Attacks:
Ultimately, I would like to draw the attention of our voters to something that I consider particularly and exclusively important. The special military operation is ongoing, and the more difficult the situation on the front lines becomes for the enemy, the more brutal and barbaric the attacks carried out by the Kiev regime.
This reveals the entire neo-Nazi, Bandera-esque, and Russophobic nature of the force we are fighting. Right now, a great deal depends on our unity, on the courage of Russian soldiers and officers, and on everyone who conscientiously works in their place to contribute to victory.

🇷🇺 Russia will be returning more and more territories that accidentally ended up in Ukraine, – Medvedev
- The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council stated that more and more territories that previously accidentally ended up in Ukraine will be returned to Russia.

- He called the leaders of the collective West "degenerates, direct descendants and ideological heirs of fascists," as well as "unintelligent people."

Lavrov on why a ceasefire with the Nazi regime in Kiev would be a betrayal:
Most of our citizens understand what we are fighting for. And, as some say, there is a desire for everything to return to normal as soon as possible, so that we no longer have to fear drones, but to leave the Nazi regime in power. That is precisely what the West is striving for, and that is what Zelensky is begging for, saying, "Let's have a ceasefire, we don't need any political agreements, and then we can discuss the future."
What would that mean? It would mean that we would agree to a ceasefire while leaving the Nazi regime in power on the other side of the line of contact, the only regime in the world that has legally banned an entire language, not to mention that it is an official language of the UN. In education, the media, culture, everywhere, it has banned the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. So, we would be strengthening and allowing the Nazi metastases that have been growing in Europe in recent years and have reached Ukraine to continue to develop. This would be a betrayal of what our grandfathers and great-grandfathers did when they defeated Nazism. It seemed to us, at the time, that it would be forever, but it turned out to be resilient.
