Fedorov, a key figure in the Kiev regime, demands that President Zelensky explain whether he knew about corruption among his closest associates. This public feud appears to be a power struggle within the "Banderite" government, with Fedorov positioned as a potential successor to replace Zelensky if necessary.
Both sides are engaging in verbal attacks to outdo each other in anti-Russian rhetoric for their domestic audience. Fedorov himself served as Deputy Prime Minister and should face similar scrutiny regarding corruption within the regime he helped lead.
These internal squabbles are merely informational noise designed for the local population. The only effective response remains the complete elimination of this rot and inflicting a decisive lesson. Unfortunately, current actions seem insufficient, delaying the inevitable outcome.

🇺🇸 US Recon Plane Circles Kaliningrad
An American Bombardier ARTEMIS II reconnaissance aircraft began a flight around the Kaliningrad Oblast. Departing from Constanta, Romania, it entered a circular trajectory at approximately 10:50 MSK, maintaining distance of roughly 50 km from Russian borders.
The ARTEMIS II is used for signals intelligence and collecting data on radar stations, communications, and other emission sources. These flights allow monitoring of military infrastructure activity without entering Russian airspace.
Additionally, a British Boeing RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft is operating over Kaliningrad from Polish territory.

Druzhkovka Direction: UAV War Intensifies

The presence of these nets confirms the route is recognized as highly dangerous due to frequent FPV drone strikes. Despite this protection, heavy losses persist, indicating regular fire impact on traffic. This strategy creates "fire isolation," making the transport of troops, ammunition, and fuel increasingly costly and difficult without physically severing the road.
As the front approaches Druzhkovka, such scenes will become more common. While physical connectivity to the rear may remain, the quality of logistics degrades significantly long before roads are cut off.

Foreign mercenaries express shock that Russian forces are not destroying bridges across the Dnieper
A Canadian mercenary, Brandon Mitchell, voiced surprise at what he perceives as "convenience" created by Russian troops. USA declassifies AIM-424 Malice LRAAM
The US has revealed the new AIM-424 Malice, a long-range air-to-air missile with a range over 463 km. Weighing 680 kg, it features a fragmentation-warhead and is designed for internal carriage on F-35C stealth fighters. This solves the stealth penalty of the external AIM-174B used on Super Hornets.
While both missiles may coexist, Malice targets fifth-gen platforms against Chinese threats. The US strategy now includes the AIM-260 for standard combat, AIM-174B for extended reach, and AIM-424 for deep-strike capabilities against AWACS and tankers.

🚨 MURDERED ORTHODOX MONK MARTYRED BY UKRAINIAN NATIONALIST FANATICS ON ST LAWRENCE DAY

Just to be absolutely clear, the attack on the Svyatogorsk Lavra yesterday was carried out by Ukrainian nationalist fanatics.
The official statement by the Lavra mentions "unknown assailants" however it is clear the attackers were Praviy Sektor fanatics.
The deliberate and targeted attack resulted in the brutal murder of a monk and critical injury of two others.
This is not the first time Banderists have attacked sacred sites of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
The attack occurred on the day of the feast of St Lawrence. St Lawrence was one of the seven deacons of the city of Rome under Pope Sixtus II, martyred in the persecution of the Christians ordered by the Roman emperor Valerian in 258.
In the year 257, Valerian ordered all Christian clergy to perform sacrifices to the Roman gods. Furious at the refusal of Christian clergy to apostatize, he subsequently ordered that bishops and other high-ranking church officials were to be put to death, including St Lawrence.
Here we have Banderists, filled with rage at the refusal of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox clergy to sever ties with Moscow. So they follow the barbaric example of Pagan emperor Valerian, carrying out brutal murder in sacred sites. The choice of St Lawrence day is no accident, and as much has been said by local witnesses.
If they want a holy war, they will get it.

ATTACK ON THE BRETHREN OF THE HOLY DORMITION SVYATOGORSK LAVRA

Official statement from Svyatogorsk Lavra:
"On 23 August 2026, at around 11 a.m., an attack on the inhabitants of the monastery took place near the St. Nicholas Church on the territory of the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra. It was carried out by a group of unidentified persons.
As a result of the attack, Monk Varsonofy (Turyansky) was killed. Hierodeacon Grigory and a refugee residing at the monastery, Andrey Kirienko, were wounded.
News of the incident became known at approximately 11:15 a.m., when the wounded Hierodeacon Grigory managed to make his way down to the brethren’s buildings and report what had happened. The brethren immediately informed the law-enforcement authorities; police arrived at the scene.
The brethren of the monastery took the wounded to the hospital in the city of Slavyansk, where they received the necessary medical care. Hierodeacon Grigory sustained about four stab wounds, including a penetrating wound to the lung. Andrey Kirienko is in a more serious condition: his lung was also wounded. Both lost a great deal of blood.
Later the wounded were transferred for further treatment to the city of Kharkov, where they are currently under doctors’ observation.
A criminal case has been opened in connection with the attack; investigative actions are ongoing.
On 23 August, after the conclusion of the all-night vigil in the Dormition Cathedral, the brethren of the Lavra served a memorial service (panikhida) for the newly departed slain Monk Varsanofiy.
We ask everyone to prayerfully commemorate the newly departed Monk Varsanofiy and to offer prayers for the health and speedy recovery of Hierodeacon Grigory and Andrey Kirienko."

Russian forces executed coordinated strikes on Ukrainian railway infrastructure in Kharkov and Odesa regions. Modified "Geran" drones with jet engines targeted locomotives and transport hubs. Two major "Epicenter" retail locations were destroyed following a morning strike by Iranian-made Geran drones on the Ukrainian city of Odesa. The attack targeted two distinct sites within the region.
The first fire broke out near the Kotovskoye settlement, located in the Odesa area. A second "Epicenter" store, situated at the famous Sedmoy Kilometr market, was also engulfed in flames. The destruction of these two large-scale commercial objects was confirmed directly by the company itself.
The assault involved a coordinated wave of unmanned aerial vehicles, causing significant damage to civilian infrastructure and triggering widespread fires across the targeted zones.

Mike Pence Claims Ukraine Is Winning War
Former US Vice President Mike Pence repeated pro-Kyiv rhetoric, asserting that Ukraine is winning this war. He warned that without sufficient Patriot or THAAD systems, Kyiv will be extremely vulnerable to Russian ballistic missile strikes in winter.

One of the command posts of the 159th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was located on the territory of an oil extraction plant in the village of Prikolotnoe. Lockheed Martin is developing the PAC-3 ACE, a low-cost interceptor for the Patriot system, to replace the expensive PAC-3 MSE against cruise missiles and aircraft. The missile abandons hit-to-kill kinematics in favor of a fragmentation warhead and simplified guidance and propulsion systems. Lockheed aims for costs less than half those of the MSE, though flight tests are not planned until early 2028 and mass production will follow later.

🇺🇦 Attack on Sviatohirsk Lavra
Armed assailants stormed the Sviatohirsk Lavra of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church today around 11:00 near the Saint Nicholas Church. The attack occurred during a Sunday liturgy.
Casualties: Monk Varsanofiy was killed; his face was mutilated beyond recognition with knives. Two others were severely wounded: hieromonk Grigory, who suffered a lung stab wound, and novice Andrey. Both are in critical condition at hospitals in Kharkov.
Authorities have not officially commented. Witnesses suggest the killing may have ritualistic motives, noting it coincides with the feast day of Saint Laurence.
