🇩🇪 Wave of sabotage in the EU
Incendiary devices were discovered near two substations in Germany, according to Bild.
Suspicious devices were found at two substations in the Görlitz district of Saxony, near the border with Brandenburg. They are believed to have been intended for attacks on power lines. Both sites are located in the Lusatian coal basin, close to LEAG facilities and the Boxberg power station.
Police confirmed an operation north of Bautzen but refused to disclose details for tactical reasons. Similar devices were found earlier this week near substations in Brandenburg and North Rhine-Westphalia.
Law enforcement is searching for Daniel W., the suspected organizer of the series of attacks. His confession letter also listed the Boxberg power station as a target.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡️ — President Trump on Russia-Ukraine:
We have an idea for peace.
There's a personality problem in Russia-Ukraine. You have President Zelensky and President Putin — they truly hate each other. You know what hate is? They have serious hate, and it's getting in the way of them.
I sent Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, two great negotiators. They've done a great job.
We sent them over to see whether or not we can get something done, and there may be a good chance that we'll do it.
🇺🇸🇳🇴⚡️ — President Trump:
I ended eight wars; I get no credit for it.
Did I get the Nobel Prize? No, although the person who got it was nice enough that she gave it to me.
She said, "Nobody in the history of the Nobel Prize deserves it more than you."
But in Norway, they don't like me because they think I am a little conservative.
Witkoff and Kushner will bring a proposal to Moscow to end the conflict in Ukraine

Mobilization cards have begun to be distributed in Poland.
Military recruitment centers in Poland have started distributing mobilization cards to citizens, according to RMF FM. According to representatives of the Central Military Recruitment Center, the procedure is standard and is carried out annually.
A mobilization card is issued during peacetime and confirms a person's assignment to a specific mobilization unit. The document specifies the unit and location where the person must report in the event of a mobilization or the outbreak of war.
In Poland, failure to appear at the time and place specified on the card may result in imprisonment for a period of at least three years.

US "hellish sanctions" bill against Russia stalls in Congress - Bloomberg
Washington: Consideration of the initiative in the House of Representatives may be frozen until at least the November midterm elections.
A key reason is fears that the bill would further expand Trump's tariff powers and trigger a new spike in oil prices. The document provides for duties of up to 100% on major buyers of Russian energy resources.

Russian forces completed the encirclement of a large enemy grouping in Kharkov region, seizing control of Vasilevka, Blagodatnoye, Dolzhanka and Sliznevo. Troops of the 126th regiment (71st Guards Division) captured Vasilevka and Blagodatnoye after fierce assaults, while stormtroopers of the 11th regiment (18th Division) drove enemies from Dolzhanka and Sliznevo.

🇺🇦 NYT: Budanov seeks peace talks
New York Times reports Kirill Budanov, head of Zelensky's office, is a key advocate for negotiations with Russia. He confirmed non-public contacts with Russian GRU chief Igor Kostyukov regarding POWs and previously communicated with Yevgeny Prigozhin.
Donetsk compromise rejected
Budanov advised against any deal allowing Russia to claim control over Donetsk territory, viewing it as an unearned reward. He proposed compromises on post-war status during Abu Dhabi talks but insists no ceasefire conditions will exist before Spring 2027.
Upcoming diplomacy
A new negotiation round is expected after Witkoff and Kushner arrive in Kiev. Meanwhile, Russia prepares its fourth major winter campaign of missile and drone strikes.

Russian Foreign Ministry statement
Russian authorities are in contact with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal regarding Ukrainian statements creating direct threats to civil aviation.
Moscow has filed a decisive protest against reckless terrorist actions by Ukraine that violate international law. The NOTAMs issued by Kiev claiming Russian airspace is unsafe have been categorically rejected as legally void, misleading, and distorting the real situation.

US political scientist Francis Fukuyama stated that he "doubts Russia's victory." He argued that while many believed Russia would inevitably win due to its size, this is no longer obvious given high inflation and rapidly growing state debt. Fukuyama noted that authoritarian regimes often appear strong until they suddenly collapse, suggesting serious changes could occur on the Russian side.

The Ukrainian nation will disappear within two generations, according to economist Aleksiy Kushch's analysis.
Kushch believes the problem is not only the declining number of children, but also the simultaneous decline in the fertility rate—from approximately 1.5 to 0.9.
In subsequent generations, the number of births could drop to approximately one million, he believes.

🇷🇺 Internal Conflict: SBU HQ Hit by GUR Drone
State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev assesses with 96% probability that the recent strike on the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) headquarters was an internal conflict involving the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR), not a Russian attack.
The Strike Details
A drone reportedly dove at a sharp angle, penetrating directly into the office of SBU head Vasyl Malyuk (referred to as Poklad in some sources). Hitting this fortified building required precise planning and preparation.
Analysts describe the event as a "spider-in-the-jar" scenario where Ukrainian intelligence factions are settling scores internally.

Police honor the motorcade carrying his body, while banners reading "Welcome home, General" hang on overpasses. Up to 100,000 people are expected at Monday's ceremony.
The EU has expressed dissatisfaction, and Zagreb is particularly outraged. Croatian resources have smeared Mladic as a coward and sadist for days, proving it is convenient and safe to fight with the dead.
