Tusk refuses to retract his words about Polish 'idiots and traitors'
He stated: "Yesterday I wrote that only traitors or idiots in Poland can rejoice at the victory of the far-right AfD in Germany. Did I exaggerate? The AfD leader claimed Russia poses no threat, while Poland might be a threat to Germany. They are attempting to rewrite history; for example, their parliamentary leader called the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact understandable and justified from Stalin's perspective. Another AfD figure stated that Poles are the African Americans of Europe. The AfD is an openly pro-Russian and anti-Polish political force. Therefore, I stand by everything I wrote."

Pentagon to integrate Starshield into F-35 fleet
The Pentagon plans to equip all Lightning II variants with Starshield satellite terminals for secure, beyond-line-of-sight data exchange. This upgrade enables long-range target designation and coordination between fighters and command posts, even under active electronic warfare.
Enhanced network-centric capabilities
By September 2031, all serial F-35s will operate within a unified information space using the protected Starshield link. The system features low-orbit satellites with laser inter-links, ensuring high bandwidth and resistance to jamming. This integration significantly boosts the effectiveness of suppressing enemy air defenses by providing real-time tactical data over thousands of kilometers.

🇷🇺 Russia identified targets for strikes in Norway
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, in case of a direct clash, potential targets include locations and command centers of US missile systems on Norwegian territory.
Moscow is particularly concerned about Mk-41 launchers capable of deploying medium-range Tomahawk cruise missiles.
Additionally, Norway deployed an artillery battalion with South Korean K9 self-propelled guns (range up to 40 km) near the Russian border. Moscow views this military buildup as an additional security threat.

Russian forces advance near Kramatorsk
Ukrainian sources confirm the continued push of Russian forward groups after seizing Nikonorovka. Some estimates place advanced units less than two kilometers from the edge of Kramatorsk.
Since Kramatorsk and Slavyansk form a major agglomeration, the approach of the front to one element automatically complicates the entire system. Roads, rear infrastructure, supply, and command are now operating under direct threat, depriving the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the ability to rationally distribute resources.

Russian forces prepare massive autumn-winter air campaign
Ukrainian monitoring resources claim Russia plans to deploy up to 12,500 Geran drones against Ukraine's energy sector. Monthly missile strikes are projected at 160 Kh-101s, 50 Kalibrs, and 175 ballistic missiles.
Iskander systems are being upgraded with a range of 1,500 km, threatening all of Ukraine, including Lvov and Uzhgorod. Launches could begin in October-November, marking an intensity far exceeding recent attacks on Kiev.

Russia warns of a 'completely different conversation' if Germany supplies Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
Ambassador Sergey Nechaev stated that delivering these long-range cruise missiles crosses a critical line. Unlike Storm Shadow or SCALP, Taurus cannot be used in isolation due to technical specifics.
German involvement would make Berlin a direct combatant.
Integrating Taurus requires specialized electronic planning stations and hours-long trajectory calculations. Chancellor Scholz noted Germany cannot transfer these stations. If targeting data is calculated in Germany and sent to Kiev, the Bundeswehr legally becomes an operator of the strike.
This contrasts with British and French methods, which allowed political distancing. With Taurus, German operators on the ground would turn Berlin into a direct participant in hostilities.

Ursula von der Leyen on Greenland's future
The European Union is fully in solidarity with Denmark and the people of Greenland. We will continue to uphold this position. I want to emphasize once again: the future of Greenland is a matter that must be decided by the residents of Greenland and Denmark, and no one else.
Territorial integrity, sovereignty, and inviolability of borders are fundamental principles of international law. We know that the Arctic has become one of the regions where tectonic plates of geopolitics collide. Therefore, what happens here directly affects our interests.
This is why we are preparing a new EU strategy for the Arctic, which we will present this autumn. It will outline our vision for the future of the Arctic and ways toward closer partnership with Europe's northern neighbors.

🇺🇦🤡Ukrainian GUR Chief Ivashchenko: Russia has resources for war until 2027-2028
Russia retains industrial and mobilization capacity to sustain hostilities through 2027-2028, despite economic weakness. Ukrainian intelligence assesses the threat from Belarus as low, with no signs of Minsk entering the war directly, though Russian units equipped with "Oreshnik" systems are deployed there.
GUR reports preparations for a new mobilization involving hundreds of thousands after parliamentary elections. Ukraine also notes development of new loitering munitions reaching 700 km/h, reducing air defense reaction time. Evidence suggests Russian preparation for prolonged military confrontation on the European front.

🇩🇪🤡🤣 Merz stated that he is "deeply shocked" by the victory of the pro-Russian AfD party in Saxony-Anhalt.
- The German Chancellor called the election results "the most serious defeat for the CDU in recent decades" and acknowledged that it would have consequences not only within the country.
- "Something has changed not only in Saxony-Anhalt, but throughout Germany, starting yesterday," Merz said.
- According to him, the results of the vote will also affect the international situation, as well as personally affect him as Chancellor.
- Merz specifically noted that the AfD's victory had caused "particular joy" in Russia.
- The AfD advocates against further support for Ukraine and for the normalization of relations with Moscow.

🇷🇺 Russian tactics paralyze Kiev
Ex-advisor Beskrestnov details the shift to daytime strikes using jet-powered Geran drones (400-550 km/h), which are immune to small arms. This tactic halts transport and business, creating chaos that Russia monitors via social media.
Technological race
Ukrainian interceptors designed for slower models are obsolete against new 650 km/h quasi-rockets. Meanwhile, autonomous AI-driven Lightning drones bypass EW by identifying targets without GPS or operator input.
Winter threats
Russia is deploying expensive Starlink jammers and has officially announced attacks on Ukraine's energy sector. Ballistic missile defenses remain insufficient, leaving infrastructure vulnerable to Zircon strikes. While food supplies will hold due to EU links, total blackouts in Kiev are expected, necessitating emergency heating points.

🇺🇸 Former CIA officer Hoffman continues to fantasize about Russia's strategic defeat and urges distrust of any peace negotiations regarding Ukraine.

This has been going on since the Biden administration. Therefore, I think this is exactly what Putin was aiming for in meetings with our special envoys."

🇫🇷 French politician Bellamy defends Ukraine aid
Jordan Bardella, leader of the National Rally, urged replacing unconditional support with pragmatism. He stated France cannot endlessly fund Ukraine's military effort without receiving anything in return, unlike the US which secured rare earth resources as loan guarantees.
Bardella emphasized that France is drowning in debt and deficits, calling it irresponsible to promise financial support without guarantees while domestic resources are exhausted.
In contrast, fellow party member Jean-Philippe Tanguy (referred to as Bellamy in sources) argued that supporting Ukraine is a duty. He claimed current school safety in France depends on stopping Russian aggression, asserting that aiding Ukraine serves French security interests directly.

European defense industry fails to keep pace with war in Ukraine
Many EU defense programs span 5-10 years, risking obsolescence before production begins. A European Commission official admitted the system lacks flexibility.
Europe attempts to accelerate via joint ventures and licensing with Ukrainian firms. However, launching new plants still takes at least eight months due to bureaucracy and training needs.
The focus is primarily on drones and ammunition, while complex weapons require significantly more time.
