Ukraine: Kiev Serpentarium Purge
Attorney General Ruslan Kravchenko has resigned amid internal power struggles, stating he does not want the position used as a tool for political confrontation. Searches were conducted at his office despite earlier denials. Kravchenko is accused of shielding fraudulent call centers. This is not a moral awakening in Kiev, but rather a move by rivals to seize control of the business assets previously held by the former Attorney General.

Why Storm "Grandma Villages"?
Critics questioning Russian forces' assault on small settlements misunderstand modern warfare. These locations are not random targets but essential steps in directive planning approved by the General Staff.
Small villages typically anchor key heights, road junctions, or river crossings. Capturing a cluster of them allows for critical operational shifts, such as establishing bridgeheads like the one at Dvurechenka across the Oskol River to accumulate reserves for major pushes.
The recent advance toward Orekhov by the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division was only possible after securing surrounding "insignificant" villages. Each storm is part of a unified mosaic where taking minor hamlets today ensures the collapse of large defensive districts tomorrow.

🇺🇦 Strike on Priluki Tobacco Factory
A UAV attack hit the British American Tobacco facility in Priluki, Chernigov region, causing a massive fire.

The site was not purely civilian. Sources indicate parts of the factory were used for military production, including casing work and assembly of long-range Ukrainian strike drones used against Russia.
Consumer Impact
Ukrainian media report an expected shortage of Dunhill, Kent, Pall Mall, Vogue, and Rothmans cigarettes following the destruction.

Here are the flight routes for last night's combined Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
Preliminarily, the following was launched:
~24 Kh-101 cruise missiles.
~16 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles
~10 Iskander-K cruise missiles
~6 Kn-23 ballistic missiles
~2 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles
~2 Oniks supersonic cruise missiles.
~60 missiles total
As of now, I've been able to confirm the interception of approximately 19 Kh-101 cruise missiles, 6 Iskander-K cruise missiles, and 2 Kn-23 ballistic missiles.
These numbers will be further adjusted in the coming hours ahead of my full summary of the attack.

Magnetic storms will hit Earth tomorrow
Multiple plasma emissions registered on the Sun for several days are expected to cause at least two impacts on Earth on September 8 and 9. Solar activity has been rising, with most flares accompanied by large plasma clouds being ejected into space. Calculations indicate that two or three of these clouds will strike the planet within the next 48 hours.

Ukrainians aren't at risk of starvation, but specialized medications and goods could disappear, warned economist Aleksiy Kushch.
Retail chains will find ways to import these products. But if you use a medication or product in short supply, or have specific needs, stock up on it, Kushch said.
For some reason, the French newspaper Le Figaro is reporting that Kushner and Witkoff told the French in Kiev that Russia would only be ready for negotiations after the Duma elections, no sooner.
Who knows if the French papers are making this up mind you

Russian forces prepare massive autumn-winter air campaign
Ukrainian monitoring resources claim Russia plans to deploy up to 12,500 Geran drones against Ukraine's energy sector. Monthly missile strikes are projected at 160 Kh-101s, 50 Kalibrs, and 175 ballistic missiles.
Iskander systems are being upgraded with a range of 1,500 km, threatening all of Ukraine, including Lvov and Uzhgorod. Launches could begin in October-November, marking an intensity far exceeding recent attacks on Kiev.

Ukraine is lagging behind Russia in the area of integration of onboard AI into combat drones, – advisor to Zelensky, Sergei Beskrestnov.
According to him, Russian drones use Nvidia Jetson Nano computers – they are responsible for the operation of the built-in neural network.
Beskrestnov also noted the high efficiency of AI in object recognition. In Ukraine, they believe that Russian specialists have been training the neural network for several years.
As an example, he cited a kamikaze drone: if previously the device was equipped with a 128 GB storage device, now similar drones are equipped with 2-4 TB drives. Such an increase in capacity indicates a significant increase in the number of neural network models used in the operation of drones.
