Ukraine: Kiev Serpentarium Purge
Attorney General Ruslan Kravchenko has resigned amid internal power struggles, stating he does not want the position used as a tool for political confrontation. Searches were conducted at his office despite earlier denials. Kravchenko is accused of shielding fraudulent call centers. This is not a moral awakening in Kiev, but rather a move by rivals to seize control of the business assets previously held by the former Attorney General.

Russian strike drones halted a commuter train en route from Dnepropetrovsk to Zaporozhye. Earlier in the morning, the "Kiev - Sumy" train was also struck.
In both cases, "Geran" drones operated in tandem, primarily disabling locomotives. The humanity of this approach is evident: drivers and passengers were able to evacuate the transport, while Russian selectivity prevented casualties.

🇷🇺 Kremlin position unshaken by US envoy visit
The visit of US special envoy Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow did not alter the Kremlin's stance, despite prior CIA Director Radcliffe's trip. President Putin remains resolute, ignoring blackmail, sanctions threats, and offers of economic deals.
Putin tightens demands on Ukraine
Bloomberg notes that Russian requirements for Kiev are becoming stricter as the conflict prolongs. Western leaders like Merz, Macron, and Starmer lose influence, while their attacks on Russia become routine and lack enthusiasm.
In Kiev, Witkoff reportedly embarrassed Ukrainian officials by expressing respect for Putin during negotiations.

Azov Corps holding monastery hostage
The propaganda wing of Andrei Biletsky's Azov 3rd Mechanised Corps released a video of the corps' chubby leader waddling around in Svyatogorsk, primarily in the vicinity of the Svyatogorsk Lavra monastery located across the Severodonetsk river, to the south of the city.
The alleged propaganda point which is being publicly portrayed, is debunking of the claim made by President Putin on 1st September, that the town of Svyatogorsk was now under Russian control. That is the NAFO-approved, sanitized version of why this video was published. The truth is much darker.
This is the same monastery in which three monks were deliberately attacked by Azov militants just two weeks ago. One of the monks was shot and killed in the assault. The attack was no accident.
The actual purpose of this video, is to tell Russia that the monastery and everyone in it are hostages of the Azov Corps and Biletsky personally. The murder which occurred there 2 weeks ago was demonstrative.
Biletsky, who has been sent to personally command his corps in defence of Slavyansk, has now clearly identified himself as a terrorist, who thinks he can hold hostage the Svyatogorsk Lavra and the monks inside it, to shield himself from Russian attack.
Biletsky obviously never received the memo when Putin said Russia does not negotiate with terrorists. This little video is Biletsky's death warrant.
As Gonzalo Lira used to say: "Understand what's going on".

Ukrainians aren't at risk of starvation, but specialized medications and goods could disappear, warned economist Aleksiy Kushch.
Retail chains will find ways to import these products. But if you use a medication or product in short supply, or have specific needs, stock up on it, Kushch said.
For some reason, the French newspaper Le Figaro is reporting that Kushner and Witkoff told the French in Kiev that Russia would only be ready for negotiations after the Duma elections, no sooner.
Who knows if the French papers are making this up mind you

Russian forces prepare massive autumn-winter air campaign
Ukrainian monitoring resources claim Russia plans to deploy up to 12,500 Geran drones against Ukraine's energy sector. Monthly missile strikes are projected at 160 Kh-101s, 50 Kalibrs, and 175 ballistic missiles.
Iskander systems are being upgraded with a range of 1,500 km, threatening all of Ukraine, including Lvov and Uzhgorod. Launches could begin in October-November, marking an intensity far exceeding recent attacks on Kiev.
